Character (Fun Poem 130)
Every face has character
and each has is its very own.
Some are filled with smiles
from the wrinkles that they own.
While others look very cold
like some dead fish on a slab.
Yet others hold in harmony
from the expressions they show.
Yes, every face hold character
and I wonder what character your face shows.

Character
The character
Of a man is
Known by
What he does
To you…
When you are
Weak and downtrodden
Does he uplift you?
Does he exploit you?
Upliftment may be
Mental, emotional
Physical or financial
Exploitation may
Also be the same
If you are able to answer
How he treats you…
You'll be able to decipher
What his character shows
You

Originally, with all the shows, we went looking for belly laughs.

So the laughs had to come from the character, not because we had balloons in our shirts or were speaking in high voices. That was very important to us.

I think the more the actor lets you know what he thinks of the character, the less the audience cares - like a comedian who laughs at his own jokes.

In Answer To Pirandello's Question
if the character steps inside my room
i will perhaps choose the
character
honestly, i still don't have it
i mean,
character, not that character of
your play

Character
One should exert character,
For character exhibits your soul
And the soul has a murky appearance,
It decided to be mysterious
But not when you gain character.
The character is an infinity, a logic
For the soul to create, so it does.
My soul worked like yours,
Once it even behaved like a saint
Opening the life around, then virtues surround.
My character is to be a mathematical puzzle,
My character is grand, my grand puzzle.
I have been this achievement from that achievement.

Laughs
A woman laughs more, laughs often.
She laughs more in front of men,
More so in front of whom she values
And a man enjoys her every laugh.

A slave shows his true character, not while he is enslaved but when he becomes a master.
Ever since I was a little kid, whenever my parents would have company over, I would put on shows, whether they would be magic shows, singing shows, dancing shows, little skits.

I think you can find yourself on one of these shows for a long period of time and think that all you'll ever be able to do is that character. Certainly people think of you that way.

If I was a bad character that got away with murder like we see on other shows, I do not think I would like it because that sends a message that you can do these horrible things and never pay for it.

Circle The Drain
I've got myself deep this time
Tons of frustration builds in mine
And it shows me nothing
It shows me nothing at all
Circle the drain
Backward solace right from your side
And you sit and criticize
Shows me nothing
It shows me nothing at all
Circle the drain
I don't need it...I don't
It shows me nothing
It shows me nothing at all
Circle the drain
I don't need it...I don't

An Injustice
God knows how much I love her
Though she has loose character!
God knows how much I want her
Though she has loose character!
God knows how much I need her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even walk with her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even talk to her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even look at her
Though she has loose character!

A man is what he is, not what men say he is. His character no man can touch. His character is what he is before his God and his Judge; and only he himself can damage that. His reputations what men say he is. That can be damaged; but reputation is for time, character is for eternity
