A good paymaster does not hesitate to give good security.
Her Gratuity
She had been a versatile woman,
Having worked as a cook, a keeper,
A sweeper, a cahier, a store-keeper,
A washer woman, a gate-keeper,
A nurse, a waiter, and an escort.
All she did under one master,
Her husband, who bequeathed to her
The widowhood as gratuity.

Am I my fathers keeper?
He found redemption
danced with the devil
got lost in frustration
from the pain in his heart and
the fear that griped his soul
Am I my father’s keeper
A puff away from reality
Dreams up in smoke
Trading life for a toke
of sin
His new found friend
Am I my father’s keeper
I’m down on my knees
Praying for you
Your soul is on fire
And you don’t know what to do
Am I my father’s keeper
I ask him to take a step toward me
when the road is getting rough
I promise my love will be enough
Am I my father’s keeper
I tell him “you are blessed in courage”
Take this step for me
fight your way back towards reality
Am I my father’s keeper
Am I able to love him enough?

My Secret Licked Lip Keeper
Be my nights!
Be my morning star,
And destiny to me.
Be my appetite.
Be the tasty treats,
In everything I see.
Be whatever it is you wish...
And I hope you know this is,
My licked lip keeper.
Be the reason I hoop.
And holler with the ecstasy you give.
Be repeated on a loop.
You'll never wear me out...
Since I'll stay your main reaper!
Be whatever it is you wish...
And I hope you know this is,
My licked lip keeper.
Whatever it is you wish,
I hope you know this is my secret licked lip keeper!
Be my nights!
Be my morning star,
And destiny to me.
Be my appetite.
Be the tasty treats,
In everything I see.
Whatever it is you wish,
I hope you know this is my secret licked lip keeper!
You 'bees' my secret licked lip keeper!
You 'bees' my secret licked lip keeper!
Be whatever it is you wish,
You've got to know...
You 'bees' my secret licked lip keeper!
And-I'm-so-glad-I am-the-reaper!

From a bad paymaster take straw--i.e. any trifle.

Dear Anne Sexton
On line at the supermarket
waiting for the tally,
the blue numerals
tattooed
on the white skins
of paper,
I read your open book
of folly
and take heart,
poet of my heart.
The poet as a housewife!
Keeper of steak & liver,
keeper of keys, locks, razors,
keeper of blood & apples,
of breasts & angels,
Jesus & beautiful women,
keeper also of women
who are not beautiful-
you glide in from Cape Ann
on your winged broomstick-
the housewife's Pegasus.
You are sweeping the skies clear
of celestial rubbish.
You are placing a child there,
a heart here. . . .
You are singing for your supper.
Dearest wordmother & hunger-teacher,
full professor of courage,
dean of women
in my school of books,
thank you.
I have checked out
pounds of meat & cans of soup.
I walk home laden,
light with writing you.

The reason why great men meet with so little pity or attachment in adversity, would seem to be this: the friends of a great man were made by his fortune, his enemies by himself, and revenge is a much more punctual paymaster than gratitude.

Flying Fiction
The flying fiction of a goal keeper,
Stronger enough with the spirit of love;
But the beginning of love is from the womb.
The flying fiction of a goal keeper,
Stronger enough to educate your mind;
But there is a great job ahead of you down the hill.
I am still looking and searching,
For i have still not found what i am looking for;
But the acts of your morals are more than a sacrifice.
Of a skinny rabbit,
I desire mercy than sacrifice!
And of love than lust;
And to espouse and to give succour to my muse.
The flying fiction of a goal keeper,
Stronger enough to take you by the feet!
But the blossoming part of his astuteness is all about love.

Tense And Nervous At The Match
Massive game today
butterflies in my stomach
can feel my heart beating
beads of sweat on my brow.
But I'm not even playing
I'm just a loyal supporter
but we need the win so much
a fan who loves his football club.
The referee has blown his whistle
our fans are singing and chanting
the away fans are singing as well
they need three points as much as us.
The game is swinging to and fro
they have hit the post and so have we
then with five minutes till half time
they are awarded a dodgy penalty.
Our keeper tries to put the taker off
he jumps up and down on his line
he strikes it hard to the goalies left
the keeper alas dives to his right instead.
One down at the interval it's off to the bar
us fans moaning about the dreadful decision
then after a pint it's back to the stands
to start cheering on our team once again.
We go on the attack right from the start
our striker bangs one on to their bar
then we get a bit of luck at last
the referee has given us a dodgy penalty.
There keeper jumps up and down on his line
but our taker stands with hands on hips
then cooly trots up and hits it to the right
there keeper dives down to his left.
One all now with ten minutes to go
us fans are going crazy getting behind the team
then we all end up hugging and leaping about
because our striker has smacked it in the net.
The ref blows his whistle it's the end of the game
we all stand and clap our beloved team off
it's off to the pub for a great night out
it feels so good when your team gets a win!

Coward
I'm in this form having
walls and ceilings
well constructed.I'm
a thinking form.I'm
the keeper of
my own idea.I'm
in this cave of
my conscience.I'm
in the solitude of
self, where only
forming forms of dreams
coexist with me.I'm
in the shadow of
my form.I'm the keeper
of everything I am and
everything I have, but
I cannot fight against
this coward that lives
inside of me, when I
need to open this door
of self in order to throw out
everything is useless and
to save the meaning of
the things I have to keep.

Keeper Of The Flame
Im the keeper of the flame
My torch of love lights his name
Ask no pity, beg my shame(? )
Im the keeper of the flame
Played with fire and I was burn
Gave a heart but I was spurn
All these time I have yearned
Just to have my love return
Years have passed by
The spark still remains
True love cant die
It smoulders in flame
When the fire is burning off
And the angels call my name
Dying love will leave no doubt
Im the keeper of the flame
Years have passed by
The spark still remains
True love cant die
It smoulders in flame
When the fire is burning out
And the angels call my love
Dying love will leave no doubt
Im the keeper of the flame

Payroll and the obedient servant's redress
His name was not in the paymaster's list and the whole wage has deducted for his food & lodging.
Where he goes to compensate?
He sleeps under the huge thorny money tree
But the bitter fruits are not ripen yet.
Though he waits for the coming season
Yet he has to re-validate his torn season-ticket.

God Is The Keeper Of My Heart
God is the keeper of my heart
And he makes sure that my
Heart is always safe
From harm
God is the keeper of my heart
He makes sure nobody
Steals my heart
My heart is sacred
My heart is powerful
My heart is holy
