A dose of adversity is often as needful as a dose of medicine.

Don't Give A Dose To The One You Love Most
Don’t give a dose to the one you love most.
Give her some marmalade...give her some toast.
You can give her the willies or give her the blues.
But the dose that you give her will get back to youse.
I once had a lady as sweet as a song.
She was my darlin’, and she was my dear.
But she had a dose, and she passed it along.
Now she’s gone, but the dose is still there.
So, don’t give a dose to the one you love most.
Give her some marmalade...give her some toast.
You can give her a partiridge up in a pear tree,
But the dose that you give her might get back to me.
So if you’ve got an itchin’...if you’ve got a drip,
Don’t sit there wishin’ for it to go ’way.
If there’s a thing on the tip of your thing or your lip,
Run down to the clinic today, and say...
'I won’t give a dose to the one I love most.
I’ll give her some marmalade...give her some toast.'
Give her the willies or give her the blues,
But the dose that you give her will get back to you.

Healing
How do I take my medicine?
I take it a little at a time.
And every little dose I take
is connected to my rhyme.
And what is the medicine I swallow?
Pride, ego and vanity.
I figure if I can heal these things
I can observe the real me.
And who is this person that I am?
A character in a play.
For this world is a stage with actors
that need medicine every day.

Time
Where dose time really go once it has past
Time is time
Is there such a thing as bad timing
Why dose it fly when were having fun
And slow down when we want it to fly
Can you answer me
Can you tell me why
Dose time stand still
Time waits for no one
Travel in time machine
Dose time ever take time out
Time rules the world
From the time we raise to the time we sleep
We are paid for our
WE pay to use someone else's time
So time is money really
Time we spend together
A life time
We use time reading the times or time magazine
Can you tell me the time please
How many times would that have been said
Lunch time dinner time
My time your time
Your wasting time your wasting my time
Killing time i don't think so
We are running out of time
Race against time
loosing time
Making up for lost time
A bit of overtime
Time to go
Lethal Dose Of Love
(r. stewart/a.taylor)
Wild thing!
Shouldve known better
With a girl like you
You satisfied my every need
What a little heartbreaker
You turned out to be
Prettiest face Ive ever seen
Oh dance little sister, you turn me on
You make my blood run hot
Killer legs in that short black dress
Baby you was born to rock
I dont mind you fooling me around
Just dont let me out of your jail
I dont mind you messing me up
I tell all my friends
Its a lethal dose of love
Lethal dose of love, watch out
Lethal dose of love
Lethal dose of love
Lethal dose of love
Should ve know better
With a girl like you
Youre totally misunderstood
I hear them talking
In this one horse town
You scandalize the neighborhood
My family was shocked by your antic views
The color of your lips and hair
Even my brother whos a God fearin man
Poor boy had to sit and stare
I dont mind you fooling me around
Just dont let me out of your jail
I dont mind you messing me up
I tell all my friends
Its a lethal dose of love
Lethal dose of love
Yeah yeah yeah
Lethal dose of love
Lethal dose of love
I hear the clicking
Of your heels on the stairs
You dont talk and I dont ask
What a little difference
Some eyeliner makes
Tomorrow youll be back in class
Although my blueprint for happiness
Depends on you
Ill cook and clean and be your slave
Ill tie you up but I wont tie you down
Baby, I might even shave
I dont mind you fooling around
Just dont let me out of your jail
I dont mind you messing me up
I tell all my friends
Its a lethal dose of love
Lethal dose of love
(repeat and fade)

In modern pharmacology it's so clear that even if you have a fixed dose of a drug, the individuals respond very differently to one and the same dose.

World Is A Crule Place
im so sick of racism
im so tired of sexism
why can't we just get along
dose it really matter if your black or white
dose it really matter if you are a boy or girl
dose it really matter which side your on
people shall yell out stupid things
people fight for the wrong reasons
war
over what
drugs
religion
that's why i stay here locked up in my room
ignoring the outside world
because of one thing
the world is a cruel place

Dose heaven know
dose heaven know you belong to me?
dose heaven know do the angel see?
why so fast, why this early,
why take you life, why they set my tears dropping free,
the angels couldnt see our love, couldnt see what we could be,
your life was so could, so slippery to hold,
a cold love story, a story to be told,
dose heaven know do the angel see?
that they snatched and stole you away from me?

Dose It Matter
i sit, wait, and wonder
why dose a the seed not grow
i water and water it all day long
i care and love it
but it dose not grow
dose it matter
i really wish it would take the water
wish it would take my care and water
but no it will not
it will not grow
it will lay, wait and wonder
why i am around
why i am here
trusting someone can be hard and hurtful
but when you trust someone and they dont trust you
the pain in worse
Popularity
How dose one measure
Popularity
Is it the stats that say?
You get hits everyday
Or the comments you read
About your poetry
How do they know?
Your popularity
How dose one fathom
What people think
I sit here and ponder
Can this be real?
I'm classed as a poet
My dream JUST became real

When I
when I told you that
he wouldn’t stay loyal
I meant it
now he shows you
I was right
now he’s hurting
AGAIN
yet I’m there for you
once again
supporting
carrying
sharing your pain
knowing what your going through
I’m going throw the same
pain and suffering
but cause of you
when I said he wont
give you his all
well he’s sharing
you with her
when I said he wouldn’t fight for you
I meant it
cause he’s not fighting very hard
now is he
when I said he wont have your back
I meant it
for now he has
hers
and yet you choose
HIM
OVER ME
tell me why
why is someone that
cheats on you
hurts you
dose not fight for you
dose not have your back
is not loyal to you
so much better then someone
that dose the complete
opposite
but yet you still choose him
OVER ME

Death Serves In The Wars
death serves on the front line
he is on no one side
and he dose not care who or why
death serves on your side of the front line
death serves on the other side of the front line
he dose not care who or why
he will tack a soil like a soldier tack a life
he dose not care who or why
he has no regret not like a soldier who has the regret
he dose not care who or why
the soldier says to the life he has tacks sorry for what ive done
the soldier says what have i done
the soldier says who are you and why did i do this
the soldier cares who or why
who should tack the blame at the end of the day for tacking a life
the soldier who cares who or why
or
death who dose not care who or why

Why Do I
why do I think of him all day long
why cant I get him off my mind
why do I wait all day for a five minute call
why do I count the days since I have seen him
why when I close my eyes I see him
why do I dream of his incredible kiss
why do I still feel his fiery touch
why dose my heart stop every time he takes his shirt off
why do butterfly's invade my stomach every time he smiles at me
why dose his laughter shoot a lightening bolt into my soul
why dose his voice sound like magical music to my ears
how dose he make me feel like I'm the most beautiful women in the world
why do I feel free like wild mistletoe making a bridge over a rushing river to a meadow of roses when I'm with him
why do I take him back even after I said I wouldn’t
how dose he still my heart away
how did he still my heart away
why do I question if I'm worth him
why do I down my self if he doesn’t call
why do I doubt if he likes me or not
how dose he make me feel pretty when I'm with him
why do I feel content when I'm with him
why did I not feel guilty for kissing him
why do I like him
why do I trust him
why do I wont to do things with him so badly that it feels like someone is playing hot potato with fire balls in my stomach
why is it that every time he touches me I feel like where he touches me is on fire
why dose his kiss make me feel like I’m floating on the clouds and sliding on rainbows
why do I dream of him when I sleep
why do I wake up and feel him
why do I want to spend all my time with him
why do I want to give him all I can
why would I sacrifice my life for his happiness
why would I give almost anything to see him to touch his unbelievably sexy body to kiss his fiery more experienced lips and to be one with him
whatever the answers are to the questions I have
I’ll find them one day
everyone one day will find out all the answers
to all the questions
they have in there life
the answers I find will lead to more questions
and more answers
but one day I will have no more questions
so I will not have to ask
why do I...

Searching
I'm searching for something
Something I've already found
But not knowing that I've found it
Not even sure what it is that I've found
I'm not sure it's my soul that can't find it
Or my senses that seem to block my mind
From finding what I'm searching for that
I've already found
Or is it the heart that I can't trust to help me
Find my way to this thing I have found but don't know
I've found it
Is it the barrier we all have to come across?
That we will find but never know that we have found it
Or is it my lonesome imagination
trying to play tricks on me
I guess this is just one more thing
I have to deal with today
I know I'll always be searching
for something I've already found
And it will always be searching
for me but it has already found me
I know this thing I'm searching for
has and will change my life for the better
For I hold it very dear to me but don't know I do
And it holds me dear to it but
dose not know it holds me dear
I will always be within it
It will always be within me
We are part of each other
Pieces of a puzzle
The stars in the map of stars
Two wings of a butterfly
But what could it be that I'm searching for
Dose it think about me
Dose it wonder about who I am
Is it just as confused about me
as I am about it
as we lay on the blanket under the stars silently thinking
you turn on your side put your hand around me
then say so sweetly
so passionately
I'm so glad I found you baby
I've been looking for you for a life time
I love you and always will
for you are the only thing I’ve been
searching for

The Mother Of All Errors....
she regrets
having to split with her
she wants to restore
what was originally
theirs, but, , ,
there is this big but,
there is no way that she can come back
and take her hands again
it is simply impossible
the world as affected shrinks into
a valueless
cent, and those who surround her
will never like it,
she went into a tantrum
unable to read the name of her medicine
her own dose of
her own poison
bad karma, she finds herself in a situation
of a dilemma
she is cursed to be alone now,
crushed by her own loneliness
defeated by the power of her own guilt

We Are But Lucid Dreams
The breath of life is love
Surrounding every grain of sand
Joined by the indivisible soul
Each and all a creation of the 'Big Brother in the sky'
Fragments of the collective
We are all born a simile of thoughts
Like snowflakes and sunshine
Lucid dreams of the universal mind
Is this why praying works
Have not your dreams given you answers
Dose not 'God' listen to his dream
If enough people believe dose it not become true
Scientists are looking for the theory of everything
Well if we are but lucid dreams
Thoughts of the 'Big brother in the sky'
Then the theory of everything must be nothing
Two sides to a Penny
Where there is darkness there is light
Where there is fizical there is spiritual
Which came first...
We are but lucid dreams...
It Isn't Traditional
Is it poetry?
Is it a narrative.
Is it part haiku,
With a dose of prose?
Who knows?
Is it what it should be?
And is it possible what should be,
Isn't and has never been.
And those wishing to see it,
Expressed properly as intended...
Have not a clue,
What those initial intentions meant.
Was it created to communicate,
Between elitists who prefered eating cake?
As they delighted in making fun,
Of the ones too socially powerful...
To know what behind their backs was being done?
Who knows?
Or...
Why is it today,
Anyone can say...
To decide to justify,
What etiquette abides?
When one chooses a method,
Using limited words to mention...
What from their own minds,
They describe and 'they' themselves wish to define.
And it is...
Poetry.
And it is...
A narrative.
And it is...
A dose of prose.
With a touch of haiku.
With a doing done as one would choose.
'But it isn't traditional.'
And what are those traditions,
You can say today...
Remains as an influence.
And 'still' exists?
Name just one!

Serpentine
Dark in the forest the sun dose not shine
Slowly in the night the snake walks
Hark in the sky an angle dose look
Down in my soul the death starts to infest
life has abandoned the garden where we stand
the snake walks no more in the light from heaven
man lives no more in the light as well
death is our calling and we must answer
your soul eternal this body but mud
crumble oh body and relinquish me
the pain is to much the façade is cracking
to the dirt i give my body
to you i give my soul oh lord
forgive me for the serpent has lead me astray
