The Game of Life
Life is a game at which we play.
We make our moves on every day.
Some are right and some are wrong.
We usually look back as we move along.
But looking back doesn't change how we've played
unless you learn from mistakes you've made.
Few are winners and too many lose.
For the games's unfair and when you choose
a move that's not right you later regret
what you did. For you don't forget.
But since life's only a game we play
when the game is finished we finally say
'I should have done this or should have done that'
We fail to recognize that where we're at
is exactly where we should be.

You Learn
I recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone
I recommend walking around naked in your living room
Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
I recommend biting off more then you can chew to anyone
I certainly do
I recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at any time
Feel free
Throw it down (the caution blocks you from the wind)
Hold it up (to the rays)
You wait and see when the smoke clears
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
Wear it out (the way a three-year-old would do)
Melt it down (you're gonna have to eventually anyway)
The fire trucks are coming up around the bend
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
You grieve you learn
You choke you learn
You laugh you learn
You choose you learn
You pray you learn
You ask you learn
You live you learn

Learn
when broken
learn
when happy
learn
when bored
learn
when you float and does not know what to do
learn just the same
when filled with idealism
learn
when fed with what you cannot swallow
learn again
when the times get rough and you want to kill yourself
learn, learn, learn
you still have many things to learn
faces of life
bodies of life
learn, learn, learn everything
do not surrender
for in truth, you do not do what you only want
you will also do what you are told to do
no questions asked
or you will be left out
or you will be not a part of the picture
this life
learn, learn, learn, always learn
do not surrender
live, learn, live, learn
you will soon do all that others will tell you
learn, learn and learn again
and sooner you will have learned everything
and then do what you want to do
with firm conviction
you know now what is right
and that is what you will do,
now without even being told
you have become yourself
but still learn, learn, and learn again
because
you might be wrong,
try thinking some more, learn
relearn, learn, learn, learn, forevermore....

Something Special
Maurice white, wayne vaughn & wanda vaughn
Love is like something special
Compared to none, its pure celestial
The game of love and life is here to stay
Day by day, your heart will find a way to win
Love is like the same ole game we use to play
Hide and seek from yesterday is still in play
Love is like something special
Burns like fire and keeps you warm
To play the game of love and not get burned
Win or lose, learn the rules, its all in livin
Love is like the same ole game we use to play
Hide and seek from yesterday is still in play
Love and games, the burning flame
Love and games, remains the same
Love and games, the same ole pain
Love is like something special
Your fragrance is the spice if life
The game of love, it seems to have no age
Wind the clock, move the hands, now lets turn the page

Preacher Man
(Gary Rossington-Johnny Van Zant-Rickey Medlocke-Hughie Thomasson)
You know i'm dirty because it's in me
Life's not easy
And it's the heart that i won't change
I wouldn't be the same
You see me one day and then the next day
I don't wanna play
I'm not the same dog you have known
It's not written in stone
Well am i right or wrong
Lookin' out for number one
I never stay too long
I'm there and then i'm gone
I'm not the preacher man
Oh can you understand
It's a game of win or lose
I've got an evil eye
You know sometimes i might lie
Oh i'm not the preacher man
Yeah-Yeah-Yeah
Saint was a sinner
Ain't he a winner
And did you hear him say
I didn't lie just as well
It's all in the head
Oh ain't it funny
How little money
Cheap talkin' honey
Can turn a sunny day to gray
Well am i right or wrong
Lookin' out for number one
I never stay too long
I'm there and then i'm gone
I'm not the preacher man
Oh can you understand
It's a game of win or lose
I've got an evil eye
You know sometimes i might lie
Oh i'm not the preacher man
Aah aah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah
Aah aah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah
I'm not the preacher man
Oh can you understand
It's a game of win or lose
I got an evil eye
You know sometimes i might lie
Oh i'm not the preacher man
I'm not the preacher man
Oh can you understand
It's a game of win or lose
I got an evil eye
You know sometimes i might lie
Oh i'm not the preacher man

Sick Little Game
Sick Little Game
Broken wings and a crooked smile
I think that you've been gone awhile
Betrayed and hurt alive but dead
A broken heart and tearful eyes
Not enough truth in the lie
Not enough love in your life
Blood and tears and your gone again
Your born to lose so youll die to win
Maybe if you could have chose
But i guess thats just the way that this story goes
No one ever wins in this sick little game
But go on and try and maybe youll find
The secret of the game
This sick little game

The Price
How long I have wanted
This dream to come true
And as it approaches
I can't believe I'm through
I've tried, oh I've tried
For a life, yes a life
I thought I knew
Oh it's the price we gotta pay
And all the games we gotta play
Makes me wonder if it's worth it
To carry on
Cause it's a game we gotta lose
Though it's a life we gotta choose
And the price is your whole life
Until it's gone
Time seems to have frozen
But the mind can't be fooled
As the days pass I discover
Destiny just can't be ruled
Hard times, oh hard times
For the price, yes the price
I thought I knew
Oh it's the price we gotta pay
And all the games we gotta play
Makes me wonder if it's worth it
To carry on
Cuase it's a game we gotta lose
Though it's a life we gotta choose
And the price is your whole life
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Oh it's the price we gotta pay
And all the games we gotta play
Makes me wonder if it's worth it
To carry on
Cuase it's a game we gotta lose
Though it's a life we gotta choose
And the price is your whole life
Until it's done
Oh it's the price we gotta pay
And all the games we gotta play
Makes me wonder if it's worth it
To carry on
Cause it's a game we gotta lose
Though it's a life we gotta choose
And the price is your whole life
Until it's done

War On War
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
There's a war on
You're gonna lose
You have to lose
You have to learn how to die
It's watching miles flying by
It's watching the miles flying by
You not my typewriter
You can be my demon movie foe
If we play indoors
You have to lose
You have to learn how to die
If you wanna wanna be alive
You have to lose
You have to lose
You wanna wanna be up high
You have to die
You have to die
You have to learn how to die
If you wanna wanna be alive
(okay)

It's the game of life. Do I win or do I lose? One day they're gonna shut the game down. I gotta have as much fun and go around the board as many times as I can before it's my turn to leave.

Insane
Somebody told me it was over
Nobody told me where it began
No one believes in you
I understand
Like a blind man
Whos lost his way
No one hears a word
Of what you say
I forgive you
Would you do the same
I would believe you
If only youd be true
I would believe if it were true
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same for me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane insane insane insane
I dont know where youve been looking
I think its only in your mind
Its tied so tight inside of you
All the thoughts unkind
I would believe you
If only youd be true
I would believe if it were true
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same for me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane insane insane
Insane
I would believe you
If only youd be true
Im getting older
And I cant escape time
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same for me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane
Cause everybody wants to be a winner
Nobody wants to lose their game
Its the same or me
Its the same for you
Its insane insane insane insane insane
Insane insane insane insane insane insane

Use It Or Lose It
Ragtime fast lane--another overdose
You know james dean wasnt playing the role
I said hey, you, what-cha gonna do
When the time runs out on you
Use it or lose it
Sweet pain is the name of the game
I said hey hey hey hey hey
You better use it before you lose it
You better use it--dont throw it away
Jfk, marilyn monroe
Street walking gypsy--margaret trudeau
I said hey, you, what-cha gonna do
Times run out on you
Use it or lose it
Sweet time--is it on my side?
I said hey hey hey hey
Better use it before you lose it
You better use it--dont throw it away
Sweet pain is the name of the game
I said hey hey hey hey hey
Better use it before you lose it
You better use it--dont throw it away
Hey hey hey---dont throw it away
Dont throw it away

The important thing is to learn a lesson every time you lose. Life is a learning process and you have to try to learn what's best for you. Let me tell you, life is not fun when you're banging your head against a brick wall all the time.

Gamester
gamester
your life is
a game
finished? no?
your life is
an endless game
a circle of games
between the boredom
the work
the silences
the songs
the fabricated
moments
cigarettes coffee alcohol
the lovers
it does not
matter
what level
you are on
your rank
status
meaningless
you always lose
eventually

White Like That
one thing is for sure
I don't need it
makes my life a war
what a bore
don't you understand
it wasn't ever my plan?
I guess you just can't see
what you do when you blame it all on me
white like that
I'm white like that
It's all the same
said one thing and mean another
who are you gonna lose?
who are you gonna choose?
what do you think I'm gonna do?
what are you thinking?
white like that
I'm white like that
It's all the same
who's gonna lose?
so who's gonna lose?
they call me white trash
white like that
I'm white like that
It's all the same
white like that
I'm white like that
It's all the same game
so who's gonna lose?
who's gonna lose?

A Little Game
Once I had a little game
I liked to crawl back in my brain
I think you know the game I mean
I mean the game called go insane
Now you should try this little game
Just close your eyes forget your name
Forget the world, forget the people
And well erect a different steeple.
This little game is fun to do.
Just close your eyes, no way to lose.
And Im right here, Im going too.
Release control, were breaking through.

No Right To Say What Is Unfair
If someone introduces a game to play,
It becomes their game to play.
And if one is seduced to play along,
They have no right to say what is unfair.
With a benefit there to correct and protect them.
And if there is going to be any changing of rules,
The creator of the game introduced will win.
In some circles this is called common sense.
If someone introduces a game to play,
It becomes their game to play.
And the playing of it will be to their benefit that's it.
Since the game of choice introduced to seduce,
Was not implemented...
For the creator of it to lose.
It is very rare one chooses to introduce a game,
To have it played for the purpose of their losing.

I Dont Wanna Lose You
Omen of a certain age
They learn to rely and judge all his responses
Having played the mating game
She doesnt waste time cause all that she wants is
Really honest emotions
Ones he cant help but show
Though I hardly know your name I know about love and I know
Chorus
I dont wanna lose you
I dont even wanna say goodbye
I just wanna hold on
To this true love true love
Women who have made mistakes
Are a little afraid they dont like taking chances
She will play the waiting game
Shes never impressed by those manly advances
I know Ive only just met you
Maybe I should know better
But when you look at me that way
Theres something inside thats so right
Chorus
I dont wanna lose you
I dont even wanna say goodbye
I just wanna hold on
To this true love true love
I dont wanna lose you
And I always wanna feel this way
Cause everytime Im with you I feel true love true love
Tell me youre real
Youre not pretending
Lets make a deal
coz my hearts depending on you
