Sand Sculpture
the ebb and tide for once
froze as your deft hands
dealt with the sand particles
to carve my sculpture by the shore
under that hazy star light
i was sprawled on the stretching sands
and in the reflection of
your warm dreamy eyes
saw myself laid royal by the mighty sea
and regaled at your artistry
and the beauty you found in me
high on my foolish vanity
i dared to dance on the tip of waves
forgetting that i’m but a piece
of carefully arranged sand particles
the sea with its inimitable roar
came in rolling urgency and
simply pulled me into its embrace

You have that one basic string, but it can vibrate in many ways. But we're trying to get a lot of particles because experimental physicists have discovered a lot of particles.

Quick Essay On Neutrino Particles
Factual Thesis:
Created by nuclear reactions
from inside the sun
Six thousand billion… neutrino particles
Penetrate your body
every second…of every day
Opinion;
Well…the very thought of atomic particles
Zinging through anything… much less my testicles
is a bit Discomforting
In almost every possible way
Summation:
This might sound low-brow
Or as the Jewish say…“kitschy”
But six thousand billion atomic particles…
Can make a guy… feel really itchy
They’re painless and harmless
But I just don’t like the way
They just Whizz, Right through my skinny body…
Every second…of every day

Mock On, Mock On, Voltaire, Rousseau
Mock on, mock on, Voltaire, Rousseau;
Mock on, mock on; 'tis all in vain!
You throw the sand against the wind,
And the wind blows it back again.
And every sand becomes a gem
Reflected in the beams divine;
Blown back they blind the mocking eye,
But still in Israel's paths they shine.
The Atoms of Democritus
And Newton's Particles of Light
Are sands upon the Red Sea shore,
Where Israel's tents do shine so bright.

Kaleidoscope and Harpsichord
As I've told my wife too many times,
the meaning of any poem hides
in the marriage of cadence and sound.
Vowels on a carousel,
consonants on a calliope,
whistles and bells,
we need them all
tickling our ears.
Otherwise, the lines
are gristle and fat, no meat.
Is it any wonder, then,
my wife has a problem
with any poem I give her to read
for a second opinion, especially
when the poem has no message
and I'm simply trying to hear
what I'm saying and don't care
if I understand it.
The other night in bed
I gave her another poem to read
and afterward she said this poem
was no different than the others.
She had hoped I'd improve.
'After all, ' she said,
'you've been writing for years
but reading a poem like this is
like looking through a kaleidoscope
while listening to a harpsichord.'
Point well taken,
point well said.
But then I asked her
what should a man do
if he has careened for years
through the caves of his mind
spelunking for the right
line for a poem
only to hear his wife say
after reading one of his poems
that it was like
'looking through a kaleidoscope
while listening to a harpsichord.'
What should he do-quit?
'Not a chance, '
she said this morning,
enthroned at the kitchen table,
as regal as ever in her fluttery gown
and buttering her English muffin
with long, languorous strokes
Van Gogh would envy.
'He should write even more,
all day and all night, if need be.
After all, ' she said, 'my line
about the kaleidoscope and harpsichord
still needs a poem of its own.
It's all meat, no gristle, no fat.'

Of Dust!
and so, this morning,
we talk of dust...
tiny particles
that contain universes,
cosmos, and non-thought.
formed from nothing,
to nothing we return.
infinite nothing...
and love be but the light,
shimmering,
on tiny particles
of dust!

The Way To Create Meaning
there is nothing
wrong with
believing that when we
die
we simply return
to our
original nature
atomic particles
reduced neurons
roving neutrons
simply
untangled from
a body
it can be harsh
it can be truthfully harsh
but i am given
a choice
whether to be
literal or
figurative
whether to see
a landscape
or simply an
array of
random particles
floating in
air in silence
meaninglessly
what makes me distinct
is my imagination
as of now i am
a body
with all my senses
on
when i die
i can still be
a flying spirit
unseen
and still as
beautiful as
i think myself
to be
even if death
reduces me into
atomic particles
i can still
dance in the
mystery of
my own
fantasy
i refuse to be
simply
a meaningless set
of dust
beneath the
feet of
this earth

Love's Concerto In June
Authors - Joyce Hemsley
and John William McGrath.
By the moon, I was enraptured.
I cried like a weeping willow,
reaching for the faraway stars
and memories beneath my pillow.
Like a whirlwind you came to me,
I weakened to words the singers croon.
Passion I felt, was more than real
Love's concerto ~ playing in June.
I dream a slightly different dream,
time goes by and I can't forget you;
my heart may show a thousand scars,
how could I believe without you?
Like a child you may turn away
obscuring the stars and sun at noon.
Tears of sorrow I could not conceal
without 'love's concerto in June'.

Measurements of the specific ionization of both the positive and negative particles, by counting the number of droplets per unit length along the tracks, showed the great majority of both the positive and negative particles to possess unit electric charge.

this Too Shall Pass Away...
everyone
everything
will be blown off
by the wind as
innumerable dust particles
on an evening of dust storms
everything
everyone
will simply be washed away
in a flash flood while the
world is fast asleep
as vulnerable as dust particles
and as susceptable to flood
why indulge in polemics...

What Any Nature Lover Knows (Cavatina) (In Answer To Archibald Macleish)
Water rushes on; brown, green or silver
as it breaks stone,
it caries particles as sand along
till it is gone,
filling everything that it covers,
has a loud tone
that thunders ominous where it does fall
but it allures, draws both people big and small.

Disbelievingly
Fraternising
the needles
on abbreviated lips.
Handful of sand
hauling uphill.
Code of particles
feels the entire lie.
You wear mauve
when I cry.
Like diatoms
in eyes.
Erase the sun
from my hairs.
I am turning black.
The brine
had encroached all around.
The brown grass, the soaked laughter,
but I will come again in disbelief.

Dying Concerto
~This is a poem about the Holocaust~
Imagine it- the last, sad song of a violin and violinist pair.
Believe it- the dead's melancholy grin.
Trust it- we know the reasons why-
Access Denied!
We’re all walking,
To a single song,
A song a lifetime away from birth,
The Dying Concerto,
Write in-between the lines! !
One must die for the other to live,
Greater good, greater good,
One must live or we all will die.
We all walk,
To a single song,
A song a lifetime away from birth,
The Dying Concerto,
God left with it too.
Messiah, if you let them burn than surely shall I!
Save my brethren.
Who’s your God now?
Twisted cross bearers,
Controlling the crowd.

Sand On My Shoes
As I sit by the sea
Drink tequila by the shade of a tree
Theres a seniorita sat on my knee
Sprinkling sand all over me
Ive got sand on my shoes
Ive lost everything that Im gonna lose
Ive got nothing but the sun and the moon
And the sand thats on the beach
I am happy though my shoes are tattered and torn
Because the sea is so shiney
Ba ba-um-ba
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba-um-ba
Ive got sand on my shoes
Thought I was civilized
Till I saw the sea and I realized
That the city life was just not for me
Left my troubles behind me
Ba ba-um-ba
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba-um-ba
Ive got sand on my shoes
Ive got nothing else that Im gonna lose
Ive got nothing but the sun and the moon
And thats plenty for me
Ive got sand on my shoes
Ive got sand on my shoes
Ive got sand on my shoes
Sand on my shoes
Ba ba ba ba-um-ba
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba-um-ba

My Funeral Ritual
Like a thousand
Bright
Red
Burning Chinese lanterns
Set free in the water
I let you go.
Like the
Deceased
Like the ones who can
Never return.
I didn't cry.
Couldn't
How can you cry
When it's you that's died?
I let go of you
Like sand to the hurricane,
Tiny particles
Become part of the gusty wind.
Scatter
Like my dreams.
I've let you get lost
Become part of a dream
I've forgotten as I awoke..
I've
Forgotten
Me
You
Us.

The Creation of the Universe
When God decided to create the universe
His body expanded His visible glow to its utmost
And said, Be
(From center point of God)
As a result the biggest artificial glow Kurshi was created
Then He shrunk His visible glow
And made it big as paradise
And said again, Be
(From the same place)
As a result all minds were created
Then God said, Say, Am I not your Lord?
All answered, Certainly You are!
Afterward God’s Body created His throne
Then He created Laohay Mahfuz and His Pen
Then the pen wrote the endless story in brief
Starting it with the Arabic sentence
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
At that time all the minds were in pairs
Then God split apart the mind of the sky and the earth
And God's Body descended from His throne
Then took many minds including mind of the earth
To the place where this starry sky now exists
And said, Be
Its outcome was the Big Bang Explosion
Then He spread the minds
Into this explosion of tiniest particles
Then God started creating the upper skies
With His own hands and other limbs of His Body
It was the sixth long day for God
When He started creating paradise and hell
Since beginning of creation
After creating paradise and hell
God created the angels and the flora and fauna of both
Then God’s Body ascended on His Throne.
Tiniest particle is positively
And its glow is negatively charged
In the beginning
As a result of tremendous pressure and heat
Some of the tiniest particles’ part of the glow was torn off
Thus they become positively charged particles
When this sky was cooling down
The negatively charged glows
Merged with some tiniest particles
Thus they become negatively charged particles
Tiniest particles have seventy thousand layers of glow
Each layer of glow has a different color and characteristic
That’s why so many types of particles evolved.
