I'm not really thinking about success in any definable way. For me, it's to keep playing and performing. I don't have to be the biggest rock star in the world. It's all a big game. The secret is in knowing you don't have to win.

Rock & Roll Star
I was just a boy when the river ran dry
And I can still remember my mama cry
She said son leave as fast as you can
But dont waste your life in this rock n roll band
I saw the light and left as fast as I could
I knew deep down it was gonna do me good
So I threw my fender in an old friends car
I knew Id come home a rock nroll star
So we hit the road but the road hit back
We thought wed take the world with a hit and run attack
Now Im center stage but it feels bizarre
Despite new cars and caviar
An overnight success created by the press
But theyll eat you up if you show them any stress
So I lick my wounds and I hide my scars
The whole world thinks Im a rock n roll star
Rock n roll star, rock n roll star
Thats what they call you
Thats not what you are
Rock n roll star, rock n roll star
I still wanna be a rock n roll star
So we got a break in our whirlwind tour
I called home said Im comin home for sure
Im tired of hurry up, make the plane, jump in the car
Im home on loan, Im a rock n roll star

Rockstar
I don't want to be
a loser...no!...
I don't want to be
an almost was
I don't want to be a white trash
Working class chump
I don't want to be a loser anymore
That's why I want to be
a rock star
I want to be the king
I want to be on top, yeah
I just want to be a rock star
Yeah...
now I just want to be famous
I want to be the guy
That everybody wants
I want to be on TV shows
And wear designer clothes
I want a girlfriend who does
not drink beer
I want to drive a fast car
And sleep with certain
movie stars
I want to sing the songs
That all those little people
Want to hear
I just want to be a rock star
I want to be like all those
people up in first class
I just want to be a rock star
I want to tell the little people
They can kiss my ass
I just want to be a rock star
I just want to get laid
I just want to be a rock star
A different girl
For every day
That's why I want to be
a rock star
Be like all those guys
on the MTV
I just want to be a rock star
I want to make those girls on
the Real World
Fantasize about me
I just want to be a rock star
I want to be the king
I want to be on top
I just want to be a rock star
I just want to be famous
Everybody everywhere
wants to be famous
and everybody everywhere
wishes they could tell
Everybody everywhere
to go to Hell
I just want to be a rock star
I just want to get high
I just want to party like
a rock star
Until the day I die
I just want to be a rock star

Dead Rock Star
(feat. The Stooges)
They think that I've got the bread
They want to read my head
The position show his cool
Like football star in school
Someone to sell me
Someone to tell me
I'm a dead rock star
in a dead rock car
I'm a dead rock star
I'm so afraid of failing
I hang onto the railing
This cold hard graduation
Kills all infatuation
I took the hazing
They said "amazing"
I'm a dead rock star
in a dead rock car
I'm a dead rock star
I gathered awful knowledge
You cannot get in college
Would you like Cain or Abel
I'll bring them to the table
They try to rope me
They try to grope me
I'm a dead rock star
in a dead rock car
I'm a dead rock star
What can I hope for ?
What can I hope for ?
Nothing to live for
Nothing to live for
I'm a dead rock star
in a dead rock car
I'm a dead rock star

Being a new band, I just can't think of a better way to get your name out to all of the Hard-Rock crowd than playing with twenty of the biggest Hard-Rock bands in the world.
No end to success
Success is not the triumph over regress,
Success is the power to suppress.
Success is not the money or the fame,
Success is, knowing you are still the same.
Success is not the power or the pride.
Success is the knowing how to hide.
Success is not a gift or gain,
Success is accepting and believing in your name.
Success is not a point or goal to seek,
Success is, believing you have never reached the peak.
Success is

My overnight success was really 15 years in the making. I'd been writing songs since I was 6 and playing in bands and performing since I was 14.
Bono
He uses his power in a great way of that none can deny
Fair dues to the rock star Bono his very best he try
For the Stateless and the Homeless and the millions in poverty
Apart from his mate Bob Geldof there are few as great as he,
He talks to World leaders and every known billionaire
About the starving millions in the bigger World out there
He uses his status as a World renowned rock star in such a worldly way
To such a marvellous person respect we ought to pay,
On the t v chat show 'Enough Rope' with Andrew Denton with Bono I was impressed
He talked of the World's hungry the Stateless and oppressed
More than just another rock star oh yes indeed far more
What can be said of Bono that has not been said before?
So well read and so knowledgeable and yet so very wise
This rock star known as Bono is an angel in disguise.

What is Success?
Success is not merely becoming wealthy.
Success is not only working for remaining healthy.
Success is not going after fame and name.
Success is not living life for such mind game.
Success is not just taking career to the top.
Success is not staying in a bungalow at the hill top.
Success is working hard for your dreams you believe.
Success is perseverance and efforts till you achieve your deal.
Success is having consideration for everyone.
Success is a strong desire and to live to help each one.
Success is to follow the religion of humanity.
Success is to always remember all pervading divinity.
Success is to follow the principle, “Live and let others live.”
Success is to accept others as diversity of nature; beautiful and alive.
Success is working for happiness of the world, a dedication.
Success is to love everyone unconditionally without any expectation.

Never played...
I never played Yankee Stadium
or the Palladium
but I'm a rock star.
'Never met Janice
Jimi or Bob
but I'm a rock star,
drumming the air,
busting guitar
only in my dreams.
But I'm a rock star, babe.
And I know a chord
you never heard-
NeverherdB4!
cuz I'm a rock star
and like John Lennon, I
am very bored.

The Fly
It's no secret that the stars are falling from the sky
It's no secret that our world is in darkness tonight
They say the sun is sometimes eclipsed by a moon}
Y' know I don't see you when she walks in the room
It's no secret that a friend is someone who lets you help
It's no secret that a liar won't believe anyone else
They say a secret is something you tell another person
So I'm telling you... child
Low Voice:
A man will beg
A man will craw
On the sheer face of love
Like a fly on a wall
It's no secret at all
It's no secret that a conscience can sometimes be a pest
It's no secret ambition bites the nails of success
Every artist is a cannibal

Let Me Go To The Show
Mama, please let me go to the show
I dig those bad boys playing that rock and roll
No way, son, you cant go out tonight
So I got real upset, put up the biggest fight
Chorus:
Mama, let me go to the show
I dig those bad boys playing that rock and roll
Mama, let me go out tonight
Mama, please, before I lose my mind
Out the window
Shimmy down the tree
I take a look around
Make sure no ones watching me
I steal the keys and take
My old mans chevrolet
I can hear my mama scream
From ten miles away
Chorus:
Rock and roll rodeo
Rock and roll rodeo
Solo, chorus out

Birth of death
Birth of death
(Stream of consciousness poetry)
This is a well thinking thought
How to control
A robot
Before inventing,
How do you cherish
The success of poetry
Before composing,
This is a well thinking thought
Of the immortality
To give the meaning
The state of being
As the creator
Can not create
The enemy of
Immortality,
Which He Himself is,
Death
Is the success
Of the game plan
Before the game
Was invented
But loophole lies
The immortality
Does not have life.
What's the pleasure
Of being an entity
Of immortality
Without taste
Of life and death!
(He Himself knows)

Never Say Yes
(words & music by pomus - shuman)
Look out now Im runnin wild
There aint no holding back this child
I guess youd say Im a son of a gun
Livin just for a life of fun
Heres the secret of my success
Never say yes. no, no, never say yes
Life has taught me one big lesson
Always keep the girlies guessin
Tell em that you love them so
You hate to leave but you gotta go
Thats the secret of my success
Never say yes. no, no, never say yes
Its the oldest scheme in the world
And you gotta know how to play it
Tell her yes in so many ways
And never ever say it
Thats how I keep goin on
Here today tomorrow gone
Thats the kind of life for me
Being free like I want to be
Heres the secret of my success
Never say yes. no, no, never say yes
Its the oldest scheme in the world
And you gotta know how to play it
Tell her yes in so many ways
And never ever say it
Thats how I keep goin on
Here today tomorrow gone
Thats the kind of life for me
Being free like I want to be
Heres the secret of my success
Never say yes. no, no, never say yes
No, no, never say yes

Solitair, a teacher
Solitaire is a card game
Developed for playing
By self with no opponent
The fact is you are
Playing your own self
This is what
Solitaire teaches you
You shuffle cards
You distribute them
Upside down
Over eight or ten rows
Not knowing which card
Lays where and in what order
Keeping only the top layer open
You start arranging
Cards in descending order
As you move an open card
The card immediately under
Opens up
The card opening up may or may ot be
Matching your requirements
While opening up card
Depends on your luck
Card moving is totally
Left to you and
A lot depends on your skill
But you keep playing
Till the time either you win
By accumulating suits in order
Or when you get stuck
With no more moving of cards possible
And you lose the game
Life is like that only
And as in solitaire you play it alone
Though you seemingly have partners
And you must know that
You are all alone playing your game
You act on visible opportunities
And as you act upon this
New venues opening up
One by one
Either to your surprise or shock
Still you keep playing the game of life
Expecting each time when you act
There will be favourable changes
And with further scopes for gaining
The only difference is that
You quit the game in solitaire
But in life the game leaves you
At its discretion
Leaving you to wonder
Whether you are a winner or loser

Secret Star
There's a secret star up in the sky
that's only known to you and I.
It' a star where passion makes its home
and sweetens like a honeycomb.
Gathering clouds surround this star
to hide it well and keep it far
from view
except for me and you.
I swear I'd be there if I could
and I know you'd follow me, you would.
But life's a waiting game my love
and so we wait for that star above
to flicker softly where it lies
secretly hidden in the skies.

Outro
Tony went to fight in Belfast
Rudi stayed at home to starve
I could make it all worthwhile as a rock & roll star
Bevan tried to change the nation
Sonny wants to turn the world, well he can tell you that he tried
I could make a transformation as a rock & roll star
So inviting - so enticing to play the part
I could play the wild mutation as a rock & roll star
Get it all yeah!
Oh yeah
I could do with the money
I'm so wiped out with things as they are
I'd send my photograph to my honey - and I'd c'mon like a regular superstar
I could fall asleep at night as a rock & roll star
I could fall in love all right as a rock & roll star
I could make a transformation as a rock & roll star
So inviting - so enticing to play the part
I could play the wild mutation as a rock & roll star
Get it all yeah!
Oh yeah
I could do with the money
I'm so wiped out with things as they are
I'd send my photograph to my honey - and I'd c'mon like a regular superstar
I could fall asleep at night as a rock & roll star
I could fall in love all right as a rock & roll star
Rock'n'roll star
