I think I've always had a sort of fantasy or dream that I would like to make a living playing music. It seemed to be the most noble thing I could imagine. I had no idea how it was done, how you actually break into that sphere, but I always had this belief that music, no matter who you were playing to, was always going to be nourishing to me.

The Music
The Music is an outlet
The music is a living thing
The Music is everything
The music is heart and soul
The Music also has its toll
The music is a creature
The music takes time
No matter your life or rhyme
The music is variety
The music can also heal
No matter you calamity
The music is a way to be found
No matter the music’s sound.

Music Hall Funk
The moon has risen
Venturing down a dark back alley
The night is misty
In the far off distance
Hearing music
....people playing
....people singing
....people dancing
It is a music hall
down a cobblestone street
Slipping in the side door
The music overtakes me
....into a fierce dancing beat
Noticing two ladies by the bar
checking me
Playing to them and dance increasingly seductively
They are coming upon me
The dream has begun
The fantasy...Set in Place
....The dance we will make
....The future is ours is to see
....The future is ours to take

My Heart Turns For You
my thoughts turn like a record player
and my heart skips every time it goes off track
the ripples you send down my spine every time you're hands meet with mine
i never would have understood this feeling if it was not for you
my thoughts will never stop turning as long as you're there
to keep the music playing
day to day i hear you're voice you're the only music i want for now and forever
the records may break the music might stop
for a while tears will fade and my memory's will turn for you even after the music stops
but memory's are forever no matter how old the music gets
but my thoughts will never stop turning as long as you're there
to keep the music playing: D

I enjoy playing the band as the band. I 'be' the whole band and I'm playing the drums, I'm playing the guitar, I'm playing the saxophone. To me, the most wonderful thing about playing music is that.

I Hear Her Playing Music
I hear her playing music
In her room alone at night
She just moved in a month ago
She isn't gonna play the game
I though she'd smile
And come on slow
I still don't even know her name
She must like being lonely
Got no time for anyone
But I hear her play that stereo
Right through to the rising sun
I hear her playing music
In her room alone all night
Through the day she's so elusive
Staying safe and out of sight
If you say hello she lets it go
Cool and so polite
And I hear her playing music
In her room alone at night
Baby are you sad and lonely
Or did somebody do you wrong
'Cause I know that you need only
Look my way
And they'll play our song
And I love your nightly music
But you can't keep playing through
'Cause I'm having trouble sleeping
And when I do I dream of you
I thought I'd try and break the freeze
And win her heart with harmony
So I answered back
And played a stack of my favorite CD's
But she just doesn't hear me
Doesn't have a word to say
So I stay awake and turn it up
Hoping she'll look out my way
I hear her playing music
In her room alone at night
Through the day she's so elusive
Staying safe and out of sight
If you say hello she lets it go
Cool and so polite
And I hear her playing Dave Koz
In her room alone at night
In her room alone at night
Baby are you sad and lonely
Baby won't you tell me your name
I'm in my room alone at night
You're in your room alone at night

You Cant Stop The Music
And so norman decides to stop living
Out his fantasy of being a rock star and
Accept reality. this is the end for
Norman but not for us because there
Will always be someone ready to take
His place -- after all, euerybodys a
Star!
You cant stop the music
Lets all raise a glass
To the rock stars of the past,
Those that made it,
Those that faded,
Those that never even made the grade,
Those that we thought would never last.
Singers come and go,
And stars fade away.
They vanish in the haze
And theyre never seen again,
But the music just keeps playing on.
They cant stop the music,
They cant stop the music,
They cant stop the music playing on.
Ive been half a million places,
Ive seen half a million people who stare,
Ive been a star and down and out,
Ive been put on, sat on, punched and spat on,
Theyve called me a faggot, a spiv and a fake,
They can knock me down and tread on my face,
They cant stop the music playing on.
Lets all raise a glass
To the rock stars of the past,
Those that made it,
Those that faded,
Those that never even made the grade,
Those that we thought would never last.
Singers come and go,
And stars fade away.
They vanish in the haze
And theyre never seen again,
But they cant stop the music playing on.

I think the world is very much embracing this whole concept of musicians going out and playing their instruments and playing music for music as opposed to music that has something to do with some form of image or imagery.

Music
Can you feel the music,
As it calms your soul,
Music helps to keep us
on our feet.
Music is surely the soul
that connects within us all,
Nourishing and comforting us.
The beauty of soft melody
playing helps to relax our
mind and body and our
soul.
Variety of different music helps
us all to decide which rhythm our
soul wants for today.
Music helps us to blossom,
The same way as flowers
like a good tune or a sweet
lullaby.
Without music life would
have no nourishment to help
move us along,
life would feel dull.
Music fills the emptiness in
our hearts,
Spreading that joyful feeling.
Music has a way to always chase
away those dark clouds,
When feeling gloomy and sad,
Turn on that favorite song.
Music has come along way through
out history,
Nothing could never take away
the magic of music.

So, when you divide the world into music lovers, music fans and then those people who are just very casual about their music, it's wallpaper to them, it's elevator music, it's just the thing that's playing in the background that helps them through their day.

Once Heard-now Remembered
Light as a feather
she twirls, she spins
and that's before
the music begins.
The music's been playing.
It's not been heard.
But in her memory
her heart is stirred.
Since silence has come
all the music is done.
She relies on her past
when sounds were the sun.
In her head the tune's playing.
She feels it and starts swaying.
The sounds of the words
have all gone away.
But not the music,
it will always stay.

The Music
I hear the music
The music is playing
The music is soft
The music is now fading
The music is gone
Which means so is my life
No music means no life
The music is gone
Come back to me music
The Music is begining
I have a life
The music is pretty
The Music is wonderful
Oh no
The music is fading again
I love the music
The music is gone
Good bye music

Allan had come down wanting to do some sort of crucial music and I'd been involved in so-called Art Music and wanted to explore other areas - we were approaching it in some quite tongue-in-cheek ways and we had a lot of fun - we spent more time laughing than playing music.

The Music Comes And Goes
by: Tripp
the soothing sounds of a piano to a guitar the sounds they make
the feeling It brings when the piano sings playing the strings of a guitar
the times come and goes as the music grows
in the heart of those who play
thinking of that one thing that brings epiphany to that instrument you play
as you hold and take care playing with hopes and dreams the music slips through
and sings
i can't get enough of what it does to me
when i hear that sound that voice
the music she brings to my heart when I'm with her
her voice is the epiphany to my heart
holding on to her the music keeps playing
my heart keeps beating as the music plays
i keep dreaming dreaming holding on hoping this song will never end
dreaming to fall in love with this instrument forever
she is my instrument

Imagine
(spoken) oohh yeah...dark child...shola ama
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me
sometimes i find myself locked in two
secret thoughts hoping they'd come true
sometimes at night i'd feel you lying next to me baby
but these are things that i could never tell you
i can't imagine what you would do
after all you are so far away from me...from me
sometimes it feels just like a fantasy
and i don't know what to do
coz it's always been like a dream to me
to find a love to true
but i know it's only make believe
when i'm picturing me and you
oh one day i know that you'll be
the one that makes my dreams come true
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me
there's a feeling so deep inside
telling me we are meant to me
praying that some day you will come for me...for me
but til then i'm just daydreaming
thinking about the way things could be
but it don't matter
coz you're still so far from me...baby
sometimes it feels just like a fantasy
and i don't know what to do
coz it's always been like a dream to me
to find a love to true
but i know it's only make believe
when i'm picturing me and you
oh one day i know that you'll be
the one that makes my dreams come true
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me
how can you..be so far from me
how can i...be loving you endlessly
how can we...be so far out of reach
just not the way the way i hoped it would be
imagine if i told you that i want you
and imagine if it all came true
tell me what would you do with me
would you tell me that you feel the same
imagine if i told you that i need you
would you say baby i need you too
no matter what you do i know
that you should be in love with me

I'm not in it for the money. I like music. I love to write music. I can't imagine myself not playing or singing or writing. It would just drive me crazy if I didn't.

Music's Worth To Me
music to me is my heart
as piccaso and da vinci to art
music can manipulate my every emotion
music to me is an iner promotion
music gives me a sense of self worth
music is the one thing why i dont regret birth
without music we have no life
to imagine a world without music
hurts like the blade of a knife
I write music people enjoy playing and listening to, and I have a group that loves playing the music.
