The verbal system of the Semitic languages makes Latin seem like child's play.

I liked Latin, I like languages, I liked all the myths, and the Roman tales that we were required to translate in Latin, and all these interesting people who were never quite what they thought they would be or seemed to be.

Song: Child's Play
Are accidents - reflections,
Of the chaotic quantum world;
Do the stars that rule the heavens,
Raise cosmic flags, unfurled?
Is love a constellation,
In the vacuum pack of cold;
A joyous distillation,
A yeast alive in mould?
It's child's play. It is child's play.
It has no creed but come what may.
We write the screed, it's all display:
On bended knee, for luck we pray.
It's child's play. A wild child's play.
We take no heed, but remain unswayed.
It's child's play. It is child's play.
When we learn that greed, is here to stay.
Is the background irradiation,
More a subset of decay;
Not dog-eat-dog predation,
But chance as child's play?
So that's OK. That's what we say.
When the meme of hate, sells well, it pays!
It's child's play. It is child's play,
When our dreams deflate, in a listless haze.
So that's OK. That's what we say.
We lean on fate, like a brand new day.
It's child's play. It is child's play,
When we learn too late, what's been swept away!

A child who is protected from all controversial ideas is as vulnerable as a child who is protected from every germ. The infection, when it comes- and it will come- may overwhelm the system, be it the immune system or the belief system.

By the time the child can draw more that scribble, by the age of four or five years, an already well-formed body of conceptual knowledge formulated in language dominates his memory and controls his graphic work. Drawings are graphic accounts of essentially verbal processes. As an essentially verbal education gains control, the child abandons his graphic efforts and relies almost entirely on words. Language has first spoilt drawing and then swallowed it up completely.

Why Have You Not Written Anything About the Jews?
Why have you not written anything about the Jews?
'Nothing about them motivates me to do so.'
They may regard that as anti-semitic.
'Have I expressed any hostilities? '
No!
'Any sense of discrimination? '
No!
'Have I expressed anything against them...
As a religious, ethnic or racial group? '
No!
Not at all.
Well...
They may regard that as anti-semitic.
Your nonchalance about their existence.
'Oh, please!
As a black man,
There is enough in my history for me to cry 'wolf'.
And use that as a means to scream 'discrimination'.
And they are good depicting themselves as victims,
Without the assistance of my input!
With the use of the media,
They have marketed their sufferings very well.
And everyone knows the black 'man' is the most hated,
On this planet.
And you don't think those comments,
Would be regarded as anti-semitic?
'I 'think' you are insisting an anti-semiticness.
For reasons to satisfy a campaign you'd like to address.
When everywhere there is a genocide affecting the lives,
Of black folks who have been denied their rights.
Those who have chosen to keep their eyes open,
Can see that.
With resources stolen from their lands...
To benefit the lives of those who choose
To call themselves white.
Or those who choose to comfortably pass.
So,
I am in no mood to be anti-semitic.
Nor to be baited to debate in ignorance with you.'
Humanity is being destroyed by those insecure.
And you have no comments about that?
'Is this how you go about initiating conflict? '

Differing in words, not in reality. [A verbal, not an actual difference.]
The business, task or object of the scientific study of languages will if possible be 1) to trace the history of all known languages. Naturally this is possible only to a very limited extent and for very few languages.

Where a child lives in a warm mother's cocoon
Where a child is sold to the prostitutes, her life doomed
Where a father fiercely protects his child
Yet another father enters another's child
Where children play without any fear
Where men enter boys through the rear
Where a child gets a new toy every day
Where a child becomes a toy near the bay
Where a child is whooped up and twirled
Where a child is forced down and hurled
Where they go to fancy schools, sing and play
Where for a single meal, they sweat and labour all day

Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace, Wednesday's child is full of woe. Thursday's child has far to go, Friday's child is loving and giving, Saturday's child works hard for its living, And a child that's born of the Sabbath day Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Playing The Games Of The Child....
when you get to know the system
get inside a matrix
lose yourself in its maze
you wish to find yourself again
inside a body,
since you feel more of yourself as
someone else
greater than what it was once before
you seal your mouth, you diminish lips,
you bow down, and then close your eyes
you finally say, there is a place greater than this
this is temporary and there is nothing worth getting serious
you play games with the child near you
with the child inside you
and then you survive.

War Of Words (Acrostic)
Wrestling with his conscience
Abstaining from verbal exchange
Regretting his wrods
Offended by obscenities
Forgetting his ticket
What is happening now?
Obnoxious little men
Rallying in no mans land
Dire consequences
Spasmodic verbal abuse.
