Instead of attempting to capture these nuances, most unpretentious 'true-to-life' films not only ignore them but make a point of using sharp, overstated images which at best can only make the picture seem far-fetched. And I am all for cinema being as close as possible to life - even if on occasion we have failed to see how beautiful life really is.

Make a wish
Make a wish on a falling star,
Make my pain go away,
Make me happy once more,
I close my eye to make my wish,
I know that my wish won’t come true,
But I try and try yet wishing it over and over again,
Hoping this time it will come true,
This wish was to be free from all my pain, sorrows, broken heart, basically everything in life,

Gagged sharp rocks that cut though flesh
Like razor blades cut though butter
Make up the stair case I climb up alone
By myself I try and try to get though the next agonizing step
But with each and every lonesome step I take
My body becomes more broken and torn to pieces

What Am I Without Beliefs, Without Hope, Without Dreams?
So many beautiful things and wonders
Surround me
But I, in my isolation and weariness
Cannot see
If you were to build a fine crystal palace
I would compliment every detail
But inside brush it off as a mere shack
Because beautiful to me isn't real
If you bought me a world
You would bring me to tears
Because I won't let myself achieve
Beyond my dream fears
I fear I'm so far gone now
