I got a scholarship to Seattle University and I was writing arrangements for singers and everybody. But the music course was too dry and I really wanted to get away from home.

In country music the lyric is important and the melodies get a little more complex all the time, and you hear marvelous new singers who are interested in writing and interpreting a lyric and in all form of popular music.

Bohemia
Authors and actors and artists and such
Never know nothing, and never know much.
Sculptors and singers and those of their kidney
Tell their affairs from Seattle to Sydney.
Playwrights and poets and such horses' necks
Start off from anywhere, end up at sex.
Diarists, critics, and similar roe
Never say nothing, and never say no.
People Who Do Things exceed my endurance;
God, for a man that solicits insurance!

Pop Singer
Never wanted to be no pop singer,
Never wanted to write no pop songs.
Never had no weird hair to get my songs over.
Never wanted to hang out after the show.
Pop singer (writing) of pop songs.
Never wanted to have my picture taken.
Now, who would want to look into these eyes?
Just want to make it real - good, bad or indifferent.
Thats the way that I live and thats the way that Ill die (as a)
Pop singer (of) pop songs.
Pop singer, writing of pop song.
Never wanted to be no pop singer,
Never want to write no pop songs.
Never wanted to have a manager over for dinner.
Never wanted to hang out after the show.
Pop singer, writing pop songs.
Never wanted to be no pop singer, of pop songs.
A pop singer.
Never wanted to write no pop songs.

Brian Wilson Christmas Interview
Well, along with our special feature of this beach boys christmas album,
Once again Im happy to see the smiling face of the leader of
This popular group here in the studio, brian wilson.
Good to see you again, brian.
Hi, jack.
This beach boys christmas album is really something.
Ah, dick reynolds did the arrangements, I guess, huh?
Yes, he did. he did a beautiful job, a wonderful job.
Is this the first time youve worked with him?
Right. Id been, uh, wanting to meet him and work with him for quite a long time.
Now whos idea was it to have you featured on this, uh, one particular tune--i,
I was particularly impressed with it--a blue christmas.
Well, i... sort of picked out that song to sing for myself.
I, I love the song and uh, Ive always wanted to sing it, so I thought Id sing it.
Well, maybe this will be the start of a whole new career, huh?
I dont know, thats... it, it could, and it couldnt. ah... I really dont know.
Well, lets leave it to the listeners to see what they think of it.
Right.
I notice this album has uh, ah, along with some of the popular things like, uh,
Ill be home for christmas, uh, auld lang syne, and uh, um, we three kings
And some of the traditional things, that you have a couple of your,
Your own, uh, beach boys type sounds in the lp, too.
Uh-huh, weve more or less made one side, uh, our own style, and...
Kind of a teen side and an adult side.
Uh-huh, right, um-hm. contrasting.
Uh-huh. now, we have, uh, one of your originals coming up here, brian.
Uh, christmas day. you wrote this for the album specifically?
Yes, I did. uh-huh.
Uh-huh. and now, do you do your, the vocal arrangements,
Or did dick reynolds handle all of that?
Dick handled the vocal arrangements on the, ah, the modern side
--the traditional side--and I did the, ah, vocal and the
Arrangements of the music on our own style--our basic style--side.
Dick did the strings, also, on the, uh, on the modern side.
Coming up now, ah, a very sentimental type christmas song,
Particularly for those who are away from home during this time of year
--Ill be home for christmas. any, ah, thing particular about this,
This tune that youd like to say, brian?
Ah, well, I guess theres something very obvious when you hear the song.
Its, ah, theres a very definite influence of the four freshmen
On the arrangement as well as the delivery, and, uh, obviously
We all look up and admire the style of the four freshmen and,
Uh, I feel this has been the greatest--one of the greater--
Vocal influences, ah, in the world today.
Well, its certainly been, uh, nice of you to take the time to come
By again here for our special beach boys christmas show.
You have a fine album here and, uh, I hope youll be home for christmas.
Well, I hope I will, too. I hope everyones home for christmas.
I do, too. brian wilson, thanks again for coming by.
Thank you very much, jack.
And here again, the beach boys christmas album.

A Musical Sound Is Forever!
Music everybody loves in the world;
Birds are loved mainly for their music;
Animals and plants too love music!
I have seen plants growing by music;
I have seen snake dancing by music!
Nature, music and book occupy all;
Without them life will be a real bore;
Life interest depends on their influence!
I have seen people with ear phones
Enjoying music when walking or travelling!
Music is beautiful order of sound we hear,
Which is produced by musical instruments.
Sweet voice of singers with music is divine!
I have seen many listening to TV Music often;
I have seen all dancing by pop singers’ music!
Gentleman Jim Reeves moves many hearts;
Pop King Elvis Presley still entertains fans;
The Beatles move the hearts still to divinity;
Michael Jackson has created music history;
Ricky Martin has made president dance too!
Who is there not moved by music in the world?
Essence of Dharma is Lord’s Song, Bhagavad-Gita!
Spirituality is developed by Lord’s music in Nature;
Musical preaching of Lords have become holy books
That rules the heart, mind and soul of all in the world!

Music in my life
The music is good.I like the music allot.It is the only thing that can calm me.It gives me joy and energy.I can do anything as long as i listen to my music.What is my music u ask? It is allot of things, but my favorite ones is Skillet.I like all types of music.that has not chanced much.It just grew wider.I like some music i used to hate, but most music i hate has not chanced.There is a few singers that i used to hate that now i do not.so who knows my direction i am going to take in the future.I sure do not.
