An Idler
She cannot wind the distaff,
She can nor bake nor brew;
Her hands are indeed too dainty
Such labors to pursue.
She cares not to follow the harvest,
She neither can sow nor glean,
But waits for the weary reapers
With cheerful calm serene.
Commanding all to serve her,
From service she is free;
But, ah, my babe so helpless
Is health and wealth to me!

Health and Wealth
When I had health, I strived to earn more wealth;
I toiled so hard that I soon lost my health!
When I got wealth, more vice crept in by stealth;
My wealth was gone, so also my good health!
So, keep your health and earn some wealth;
Don't earn more wealth and lose all health;
Just use your wealth to keep your health;
In life on earth, Health is your wealth!

Bible Stories: Ruth (Part II)
A man of wealth great was Boaz-
A kinsman of Elimelech,
The (dead) husband of Naomi.
Ruth asked Naomi to permit
Her glean among the ears of grain
In rich Boaz’s field that day;
Naomi told her to do so.
Young Ruth began to glean the ears
After the reapers, in the field
Of rich Boaz, from morn that day;
From Bethlehem, then Boaz came
And told the reapers all that day,
‘May Lord, our God be with you all.’
And they replied, ‘May He bless you! ’
Boaz then asked his servant nigh,
‘Who is that young woman that gleans? ’
The servant said, ‘A Moabite
With Naomi, from Moab-land.’
Ruth begged Boaz, ‘Please let me glean
And gather grain after reapers! ’
Boaz told Ruth, ‘You may do so,
But venture not into next field.’
She could stay on with his maids there.
He told the servants, ‘Don’t touch her.’
If thirsty, drink from water-jars
Or from what servants shall too draw.
Ruth fell upon her face on ground
And bowed and asked, ‘Is it because
She was a foreigner, she found
Good favor in Boaz’s sight? ’
To this, Boaz replied to her,
‘I am aware of all you’ve done
For your mother-in-law after
Your husband died and how you’d left
Your parents and your place of birth
To people whom you never knew.’
‘May Lord, the God of Israel then
(Under whose wings, you take refuge)
Reward your work that looks so great
And pay wages in accordance.’
To this Ruth said, ‘I’ve found favor
In your sight, lord, indeed so well.
I thank you for your kind words said,
Although I’m not akin your maids! ’
At mealtime Boaz said to Ruth,
‘Come, dip your bread in vinegar,
And served her roasted grains with all.
Ruth ate and seemed so satisfied.
When she arose to glean once more,
Boaz commanded that she glean
Even among the sheaves this time,
And no one was to insult her.
He told them to pull out grain-ears
From sheaves and dropp them purposely,
Allowing Ruth to glean freely,
And no one was to rebuke her!
Until that evening, Ruth had gleaned;
She beat the ears to gather grain;
It was an ephah of barley!
She took the grain into the town
And showed it all to Naomi
Who appeared very satisfied.
Her mother-in-law then asked her,
‘Where did you glean today and work?
May God bless him who favored you! ’
Ruth told her his name was Boaz!
Naomi told, God is so kind
To both the living and the dead.
May God bless Boaz specially
She told, ‘He’s our close relative! ’
Ruth told all that Boaz had said;
Naomi felt so happy that
Ruth had been asked to glean again,
Until the barley harvest ends.
Ruth did as Boaz instructed
And lived with her mother-in-law!

On Fields O'er Which the Reaper's Hand Has Pass'd
On fields o'er which the reaper's hand has pass'd
Lit by the harvest moon and autumn sun,
My thoughts like stubble floating in the wind
And of such fineness as October airs,
There after harvest could I glean my life
A richer harvest reaping without toil,
And weaving gorgeous fancies at my will
In subtler webs than finest summer haze.

Follow The Wind
Im so weary from holding this load
But its only , love for you, that I walk this lonely road
I must follow the wind , follow the wind
And the wind will take me hold before the cold
Evry stay I have counted
Each flower I have seen
But the place where Im going , theres no grass as green
I must follow the wind , follow the wind
And the wind will take me home where I can dream
In the hour I am lonely, youre love will be mine
I will stay in your arms dear, until comes the time
I must be on my way for my home is anywhere
I have no time to stay , I have no time to care
I must follow the wind , follow the wind
As the wind gently blows in my hair
(break)
I must follow the wind , follow the wind
As the wind gently blows in my hair
I must follow the wind , follow the wind
As the wind gently blows in my hair

I'm Just So Sorry But No One Cares About You(Revised In Line Form)
No one cares.
I'm just so sorry but no one cares about you.
No reason to get upset.
Do your own thing as you always do.
Let the time fade.
Follow the suns escape.
Take me somewhere, anywhere but here.
Like a ghost I just want to disappear.
It removes all fear.
Preparing for another sacrifice.
Such is life.
No one cares.
I'm just so sorry, but no one cares about you.
Marching to my own rhythm.
Lead or follow.
Where do you go when the heart becomes so hollow?
How do you fill the void?
Are you feeling a little paranoid?
Trust no one.
All because no one cares.
I'm just so sorry, but no cares about you.
All alone,
Naked and full of shame.
Who's really to blame?
Do you admit the fault as your own?
Or do you mention someones name and complain?
Are you insane?
Completely mad.
A mad hatter off his rocker just a little bit.
All because no one cares.
I'm just so sorry but no one cares about you.
Oh about you.
It's always about you.
No such thing as a selfless act.
This is a fact.
Nothing for free.
This is a favor that can be later be redeemed! ! !
All because no one cares,
I'm just so sorry but no one cares about you.

The Contented Man
"How good God is to me," he said;
"For have I not a mansion tall,
With trees and lawns of velvet tread,
And happy helpers at my call?
With beauty is my life abrim,
With tranquil hours and dreams apart;
You wonder that I yield to Him
That best of prayers, a grateful heart?"
"How good God is to me," he said;
"For look! though gone is all my wealth,
How sweet it is to earn one's bread
With brawny arms and brimming health.
Oh, now I know the joy of strife!
To sleep so sound, to wake so fit.
Ah yes, how glorious is life!
I thank Him for each day of it."
"How good God is to me," he said;
"Though health and wealth are gone, it's true;
Things might be worse, I might be dead,
And here I'm living, laughing too.
Serene beneath the evening sky
I wait, and every man's my friend;
God's most contented man am I . . .
He keeps me smiling to the End."

Babe
Written by dennis deyoung
Lead vocals by dennis deyoung
Babe, Im leaving, I must be on my way
The time is drawing near
My train is going, I see it in your eyes
The love, the need, your tears
But Ill be lonely without you
And Ill need your love to see me through
Please believe me, my heart is in your hands
And Ill be missing you.
You know its you babe
Whenever I get weary and Ive had enough
Feel like giving up
You know its you babe
Giving me the courage and the strength I need
Please believe that its true
Babe, I love you.
You know its you babe
Whenever I get weary and Ive had enough
Feel like giving up
You know its you babe
Giving me the courage and the strength I need
Please believe that its true
Babe, I love you.
Babe, Im leaving, Ill say it once again
Somehow try to smile
I know the feeling were trying to forget
If only for a while
But Ill be lonely without you
And Ill need your love to see me through
Please believe me, my heart is in your hands
And Ill be missing you
Babe, I love you.

The Distaff
Distaff, blithely whirling distaff, azure-eyed Athena's gift
To the sex the aim and object of whose lives is household thrift,
Seek with me the gorgeous city raised by Neilus, where a plain
Roof of pale-green rush o'er-arches Aphrodite's hallowed fane.
Thither ask I Zeus to waft me, fain to see my old friend's face,
Nicias, o'er whose birth presided every passion-breathing Grace;
Fain to meet his answering welcome; and anon deposit thee
In his lady's hands, thou marvel of laborious ivory.
Many a manly robe ye'll fashion, much translucent maiden's gear;
Nay, should e'er the fleecy mothers twice within the selfsame year
Yield their wool in yonder pasture, Theugenis of the dainty feet
Would perform the double labour: matron's cares to her are sweet.
To an idler or a trifler I had verily been loth
To resign thee, O my distaff, for the same land bred us both:
In the land Corinthian Archias built aforetime, thou hadst birth,
In our island's core and marrow, whence have sprung the kings of earth:
To the home I now transfer thee of a man who knows full well
Every craft whereby men's bodies dire diseases may repel:
There to live in sweet Miletus. Lady of the Distaff she
Shall be named, and oft reminded of her poet-friend by thee:
Men shall look on thee and murmur to each other, 'Lo! how small
Was the gift, and yet how precious! Friendship's gifts are priceless all.'

Sonnet: Harvest-time
In Summer, farmers scythe the harvest fast;
Their weary frames from morn till eve stay bent;
The produce sheaved is dried in fields so vast;
The air with songs of joy from heart is rent.
The scorching Sun doesn't bother their tanned skin;
Despite their speed, their work is ne’er over;
All hands labour, young, old, both kith and kin,
For golden harvest, thanking Lord- Giver.
The reapers everywhere must work quite hard;
There is no time to eat or drink water!
Their sweat-drenched land has yielded them reward;
The struggle involved ain't a great matter.
Each morn they stand and pray to Sun- their God,
Without which, there's no food, peasant, landlord.

An innovative way
Join, join, join, join laughing club
Worry, tension at home and not at club
Raise your hands and loudly laugh,
Belly should go in and look only half,
In parking lot or in green garden
Under shed of trees where fruits are laden,
Fresh morning air and hanky round hair
Avoid sitting at home in the easy chair
People may laugh or cut even jokes
You may find discomfort at their pokes
You are very safe and free from pollution or smokes
Start the exercise lightly after brief walks
Fresh intake of air and slowly to inhale
You may feel big as big as fish whale
This is not joke, hear say or simple tale
Cheeks may become rosy and not look pale,
Well, any exercise in morning, is good for health,
Not it to be compared with money or wealth,
If health is good everything will be good
Morning will be cheerful with good mood
Open laugh with big noise may scare all
It may look as if received distress call,
But it helps to remove tension,
Disease may be far away and out of question
All steps are taken to keep one always fit
It required some standard ready to be met
Remain calm and cool with healthy mind
Happiness and freshness one may always find
Why so much stress is laid on keeping good health?
Why there is no such importance to the money or wealth?
Why do we not deal that seriously with good habits?
It may tire us out and health may fall bit by bit
It is equally important to be cautious with age
One may be confined to bed as if put in cage
You may feel bad and run high in rage
It may be of no use as done with enough damage
It is good to be health cautious and watchful
In later stage of life it is also useful
If you remain hale and hearty with good health
No amount of compensation can supplement to death
In young age we are accustomed to certain bad habits
We pay less attention to food habits and neglect little bit
It becomes difficult to improve as time passed by
Health can never be regained and helplessly without any try
Let us not forget health is wealth
It has to be tackled or dealt with
It may prove disastrous if not properly looked after
There may be no use even if you take medicines as laughter

I Wanna Be Free
By tommy boyce and bobby hart
I wanna be free,
Like the bluebirds flying by me
Like the waves out on the blue sea.
If your love has to tie me, dont try me,
Say good-bye.
I wanna be free,
Dont say you love me say you like me,
But when I need you beside me,
Stay close enough to guide me, confide in me,
Oh-oh-oh
I wanna hold yur hand,
Walk along the sadn
Laughing in the sun,
Always having fun
Doing all those things
Without any strings
To tie me down.
I wanna be free,
Like the warm september wind, babe,
Say youll always be my friend, babe.
We can make it to the end, babe,
Again, babe, I gotta say:
I wanna be free
I wanna be free
I wanna be free

Cold Wind Waits
though the frost is gone, the
cold wind waits.
the robin sings while the
cold wind waits.
a gentle breeze
now blows the wheat,
but a threat of rain
will change to sleet.
the summer slips and the
cold wind waits.
though the warm wind blows, the
cold wind waits.
the traffic crawls while the
cold wind waits.
it's dark too early,
winter too soon,
light of the sun
will change to moon.
the weather turns and the
cold wind waits.

Losers seeks the gainers
Wealth, health and the might
A man spends to seek a woman.
A loser.
A woman in turn to her delight
Receives all but never seeks.
A gainer.
To lose to pursue or to pursue to lose
Is the mystery of lust.

Tell All The People
Tell all the people that you see
Follow me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Set them free
Follow me down
You tell them they dont have to run
Were gonna pick up everyone
Come out and take me by my hand
Gonna bury all our troubles in the sand, oh yeah
Cant you see the wonder at your feet
Your lifes complete
Follow me down
Cant you see me growing, get your guns
The time has come
To follow me down
Follow me across the sea
Where milky babies seem to be
Molded, flowing revelry
With the one that set them free
Tell all the people that you see
Its just me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Follow me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Well be free
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Its just me
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Follow me
Follow me down
Follow me down
You got to follow me down
Follow me down
Tell all the people that you see
Well be free
Follow me down
Tell all the people you see
Follow me
You got to follow me down

Mother's Loss
If I could clasp my little babe
Upon my breast to-night,
I would not mind the blowing wind
That shrieketh in affright.
Oh, my lost babe! my little babe,
My babe with dreamful eyes;
Thy bed is cold; and night wind bold
Shrieks woeful lullabies.
My breast is softer than the sod;
This room, with lighter hearth,
Is better place for thy sweet face
Than frozen mother eatrth.
Oh, my babe! oh, my lost babe!
Oh, babe with waxen hands,
I want thee so, I need thee so -
Come from thy mystic lands!
No love that, like a mother's fills
Each corner of the heart;
No loss like hers, that rends, and chills,
And tears the soul apart.
Oh, babe - my babe, my helpless babe!
I miss thy little form.
Would I might creep where thou dost sleep,
And clasp thee through the storm.
I hold thy pillow to my breast,
To bring a vague relief;
I sing the songs that soothed thy rest -
Ah me! no cheating grief.
My breathing babe! my sobbing babe!
I miss thy plaintive moan,
I cannot hear - thou art not near -
My little one, my own.
Thy father sleeps. He mourns thy loss,
But little fathers know
The pain that makes a mother toss
Through sleepless nights of woe.
My clinging babe! my nursing babe!
What knows thy father - man -
How my breasts miss thy lips' soft kiss -
None but a mother can.
Worn out, I sleep; I wake - I weep -
I sleep - hush, hush, my dear;
Sweet lamb, fear not - Oh, God! I thought -
I thought my babe was here.

Cardiac
A mattock high he swung;
I watched him at his toil;
With never gulp of lung
He gashed the ruddy soil.
Thought I, I'd give my wealth
To have his health.
With fortune I would part,
And privilege resign,
Could I but have his heart,
And he have mine . . .
Then suddenly I knew
My wish was true.
Like him I swung: with awe
He marked my steady breath.
Then suddenly I saw
That he was sick to death.
My heart in him was frail
And seemed to fail.
Said I: 'Take back your heart
And I will bear with mine.
Poor lad! All wealth apart
'Tis murder I design,
Not all a Nabob's wealth
Is worth your health.'

Put On Your Old Brown Shoes
Put on your old brown shoes
Right on your feet
Time to move on, get away
You know you paid your dues
Did all you could
Time to move on, no more to say
You and me, were helpless cant you see
Weve got to get away, get away
Got to move on, til the madness around is gone
And the rest of our lives well be free
Kick out the morning blues
Who needs a job
Who needs pain and oppression
You know it cant be beat
Stand on your own two feet
Goodbye rain and depression
You and me, were helpless cant you see
Weve got to get away, get away
Got to move on, catch the next train
And well be gone
And the rest of our lives well be free
Get your blue jeans right on babe
Get your blue jeans right on babe
You know a friend is a friend
You dont leave him in trouble
He got a little drunk so now hes seeing double
Dont you see him there yeah lying in the rubble
But you have to lend a hand
cause you know hes on the level
You and me, were helpless cant you see
Weve got to get away, get away
Got to move on, catch the next train
And well be gone
And the rest of our lives well be free

The Summer Sea
Soft soft wind, from out the sweet south sliding,
Waft thy silver cloud webs athwart the summer sea;
Thin thin threads of mist on dewy fingers twining
Weave a veil of dappled gauze to shade my babe and me.
Deep deep Love, within thine own abyss abiding,
Pour Thyself abroad, O Lord, on earth and air and sea;
Worn weary hearts within Thy holy temple hiding,
Shield from sorrow, sin, and shame my helpless babe and me.

Easy To Know, Difficult To Practice!
We are nothing,
It is truth of Truth that
We are nothing, when compared to infinite wisdom around,
Infinite mass, infinite energy, infinite phenomena, infinite number of infinite knowledge on infinite topics around,
we were that puppets play on the stage,
Are we puppets and helpless, lifeless puppets?
No we are living puppets!
Puppets in the hands of destiny,
Is it true?
Nay, we are puppets in hands of our own desires and deeds,
Our own brilliance and folly!
If man's soul is in nature,
then he has to protect it from danger,
But a mind polluted by careless and reckless ego,
How can he keep environment clean?
If trees are cut recklessly, man will build his own cross!
If man's soul is in nature he has to conserve it,
Mountains and trees are his soul that bring the rain and abundance of life!
Harvest that, what one sow,
Cause and affect that follow,
one who think he is deep, somewhere he is shallow,
Somehow time will prove where he is hollow!
Knowing that he is nothing,
the baseless ego,
Useless he exist as a worm,
Sometimes as helpless as chained dog we lament,
As baseless as moving shadow,
One is free to act, but not free from effects,
So let us use this Freewill to know ourselves and live upto that,
Knowing oneself is easy and effortless,
But live accordingly is difficult,
Let us first eat for our life and not live to eat!
Let us become carefull in action,
Cautious, yet casual steps,
Save us from fall,
save us all,
with our green friends,
we live long!
Nothing is not that nothing,
but is Everything!
we learn to live as we are,
Without desires or expectation,
Not in the memory of past,
Not in anticipation of unborn future,
Let us live as if we are angels,
Lord of the universe dwell in us,
We live and work for him,
Knowing our nonexistent ego,
Get to the base of truth,
Let us be gods existing,
Representative of Almighty God,
Serene, kind, ever loving,
Honest and punctual,
Knowing our duties, performing well,
Rightfully exercising our right and might!
