Please Do Not Resist
At nighttime I have found my mind,
Can not unwind.
You've got my insight on a hold...
All thoughts I've left behind.
And I know you're not the kind,
To try to probe and define me.
And feeling good I surely do...
Because of you it's true.
A taste I want a little bit...
Of it.
Yes.
A taste I want a little bit,
But I am not a quitter.
I know I'll try to get as much of it,
As I can get.
Oh I know I am persistent...
And it's to your benefit.
A taste I want a little bit...
Of it.
Yes.
A taste I want a little bit,
But I am not a quitter.
And...
I know I'll try to get as much of it,
As I can get.
Oh I know I am persistent...
And it's to your benefit.
And I know you're not the kind,
To try to probe and define me.
And feeling good I surely do.
I know I'll try to get as much of it,
As I can get.
Oh I know I am persistent...
And it's to your benefit.
Oh I know I am persistent...
And from me you can't resist!
Oh I know I am persistent...
And from me you can't resist!
I know I am persistent!
You can not resist.
I know I am persistent!
You can not resist.
A taste I want a little bit.
Please do not resist.
A taste I want a little bit.
Please do not resist.
A taste I want a little bit.
Please do not resist.
I know I am persistent!
You can not resist.

Man's best companion
Patience is the greatest weapon of man
By exercising patience
Every enduring task is accomplished
Patience is a kind of worship
It is a great service to God
When everyone deserts him
It is his patience that stands by him
In happiness patience prevents him From going astray
In his sorrow patience saves him
From being rigid to God
Patience is his best companion
Through thick and thin.

Soon I knew the craft of experimental physics was beyond me - it was the sublime quality of patience - patience in accumulating data, patience with recalcitrant equipment - which I sadly lacked.

My P.Q. intriguing.
To untie a knot, I have no patience.
Instead, I sever it.
To stand in a queue, I have no time.
Rather, I would forego the show.
To read a novel, I have no mood.
I skip the buses crowded.
Low Persistent Quotient I have.
But it proves false in my love
For you, that persists without success,
Waiting for years, with patience..

All gardeners know better than other gardeners.
It's the quality of the ordinary, the straight, the square, that accounts for the great stability and success of our nation. It's a quality to be proud of. But it's a quality that many people seem to have neglected.

The quality of mercy (conditions apply)
The quality of mercy,
Portia declared,
the quality of mercy is
suspended during the present conflict
the quality of mercy is
not the business of a Minister of Justice
the quality of mercy is
not a matter of individual conscience
the quality of mercy is
too subtle for public discussion
or law
the quality of mercy is
only for Shakespeare and stuff
the quality of mercy is
less stimulating than revenge
the quality of mercy is
no business of yours
the quality of mercy is
no concern of religious authorities
who should stay silent
the quality of mercy is
an outdated concept
the quality of mercy is
nothing to do with forgiveness
or circumstantial evidence
or the remission of sins
the quality of mercy is
no longer a matter of pride
the quality of mercy is
no longer a mark of humanity
the quality of mercy
would be OK if Obama said so
the quality of mercy
is one hell of a hot potato
cooked in oil
the quality of mercy
droppeth as the gentle
dew from heaven
upon a broken fuselage
and it is too much
or too little
for our understanding.

Patience Rules
I am told that idea rules the world
The real ruler is patience
Patience owns the plannet
The child of patience is idea
Without patience idea is aborted
Patience rules the world
Patience is gradual and steady
Yet it always leads to victory
Although the snail has neither hand nor leg
Patiently its destinations are reached
Nothing can be attained without patience
It is with patience
That snake climbs coconut trees
An ant invested firewood
Is fetched vide patience
Patience is profitable
Whatever you desire in life
Let patience be your watchword
Only the patient can milk lionness
Kingship is attained through patience
Royal crown is perfectly fitted by it
Hurray! patience is the champion
Patience is it!

Prowess Is The Highest Quality For Great Men
Valour is the ability
to show the individual's strength
to control external enemies;
Prowess is the highest quality for great men
who can easily control internal enemies
like lust in self;
Such great men will not show interest
in other women, others' wives;
This quality is not only the virtue of these great men,
but also a great discipline of noble persons. (ThirukkuRaL 148)

As Genuine As Those Who Know It
Whether it becomes displayed,
Or laid in the shadows to dust...
Quality is eventually discovered.
And known to show what it is.
Quality dusted never ages to rust.
No matter what attempts are made,
By those unappreciative of its value.
A quality that remains to be quality,
Is as genuine as those who know it!
Regardless of what rating it gets.
Quality can not be rated against,
That which it has no peers.

On Being Patient
Patient persons seldom lose;
Winning always seems their forte;
Time may not be on their side;
But in life, there’s no defeat!
Patience is a virtuous trait –
Key to success in all fields;
Though the odds are very great,
God is always on their side!
Patience makes a brave heart calm;
Tussles end in glorious ways;
Struggles seem simply trivial;
Battles end victoriously!
Patient men can earn a lot;
Patience gives an edge to all;
Patience turns the tide of things;
Patience brings expected ends.
Patience fountain rises high,
Baffling people’s minds and hearts;
Patience comes by sustained toil,
Bringing cheers to all who seek!
A patient soul unnerves foes;
None can take him for granted;
Life is rosy till the end;
Charm of patience grows always!

City-Dweller
I look through the city with pride,
It compels me with lawmaking,
The gardens are full of employers,
They are gardeners of the gardeners.
We are plenty of times in love with this city,
The district loves me and my company.
Inventing lies on the city is dastardly,
Just view it with the naked eyes and absorb the company.
Maybe the city of all cities can wink a few times,
Calling the angels to visit, with the keys to the city.

For the Angels
As I sing form my cage
knowing all I can do no is patiently wait
I think back and contemplate
all the blessings all I have been gifted to create
Impossible for me to say which I love the most
but for the Angels, messengers of the holy ghost
I raise my glass offering the highest toast
For their guidance, their patience
All sacrifices made in the shared name of
compassion and love
For the smiles, beauty, warmth and humor
cast from above
for the tender nurturing nature of these beings
who know there is more to this life
than what my eyes are presently seeing
Even Lucifer and his fist of steel
that deep down tenderness of heart
allowing me to broker such a deal
yes with Lucifer's full cooperation
we shall usher in the kingdom
of equal freedom for all
of God's unique and unified Creation

Persistent
Annoyance?
Okay.
Agitation?
I wouldn't use that word.
But...
Okay.
Head strong and hard headed?
I would say determined!
Spoiled and self-centered?
You're getting warm!
Persistent and...
Bingo!
That's it!
Persistent.
Now that we've almost covered the alphabet...
Are you giving me sex or not?
Or do I have to beg?

Plucking grapes
Plucking grapes of life
That is sweet I suggest
Come with good mood
Do good have good
Be a lion be a mouse.
Patience and success
One and same
Have patience and
Win battle
That is in cradle.
You are here not to perish
You are here to shine
Remembering who you are
Recalling yourself
Getting self
Staying exclusively means
To liberate and liberation
Is realization who you are.

Patience
Patience is a virtue.
You'll need it to stay true.
Whenever you are feeling blue.
Faith, and patience will always pull you through.
Though at times it may seem bleak,
and hope is very weak.
Be patient and you'll find what you now seek.
Love is patience which you really need.
Push too hard and good will leave.
The patient man will take the lead.
Rewarded well for this virtious seed.
With which he grew and paid his dues.
The impatient man will always lose.
So wait your turn, ignore the burn.
With patience now you'll not be spurned.
