I'm attracted to pathos, because life is mostly pathos. I've had a lot of it in my life.

The possibility of victory must be there in tragedy. Where pathos rules, where pathos is finally derived, a character has fought a battle he could not possibly have won. The pathetic is achieved when the protagonist is, by virtue of his witlessness, his insensitivity, or the very air he gives off, incapable of grappling with a much superior force. Pathos truly is the mode for the pessimist. But tragedy requires a nicer balance between what is possible and what is impossible. And it is curious, although edifying, that the plays we revere, century after century, are the tragedies. In them, and in them alone, lies the belief — optimistic, if you will, in the perfectibility of man.

Pathos Of Your Song
the pathos of your vocals
expresses the essence
of the best poems
i wrote and long to write
on your lap and like an angel
i would sit to fill my heart
with your magical songs
but you are at the
other side of my world
now i am lost - in the
pathos of your vocals
i wonder you would pander
to my poems if you read them
verses that could very well
have sprung from your heart

The echo began in some indescribable way to undermine her hold on life. Coming at a moment when she chanced to be fatigued, it had managed to murmur, 'Pathos, piety, courage -- they exist, but are identical, and so is filth. Everything exists, nothing has value.'
A Man Of Oblivion
Oblivion is my refuge and
It`s worth a life`s deductions.
From the day my life sprang up
From the mercy of the Creator
My oblivion has been my pal beloved.
Oblivion is my strength and
It`s nothing less than a grace.
Transferring my pains and woes
Into its inner chambers my entity triumphs
And my ego surges forward.
My oblivion has two phases-
One is of my life haunted by myself,
The other is of my life ravaged by time.
As the lilies fade out the former does and
As the islands in the Pacific submerge does the latter.
What is an oblivion of your kind?
Do you ever make such deductions?
As a new stream of new pathos rushes
To run along the abode of your oblivion,
Do you know the bliss you scale down?

The paradox is really the pathos of intellectual life and just as only great souls are exposed to passions it is only the great thinker who is exposed to what I call paradoxes, which are nothing else than grandiose thoughts in embryo.

Why Worry?
Obsessive
Compulsive
Chronic
Worriers
I fear
there are
people
who waste
half their
lives.
Worrying
about preposterous
fanatical
things that usually
habitually
never happen.
Or if
they do
predictably
are normally
never half
as bad.
As worriers
thought
in fretful
dread
they would
be undoubtedly.
Sleep on it
face it.
In tranquil
calm
reasoning
therapeutic
morning
light.
Requite
repugnant
requisite
worry.
Pick up
fallen pathos
pieces
paste
them patiently
together.
Fit together
a more
favourable
future.
Into etched
tearing
wearing
gaps eroded
by fresh
flesh
fresco
worry lines.
Contemplate
restorative
certainty
permeating time.
Everything
will be fine
in prayerful
time. Give it time.
Give it time.
To heal
reattain
alinement.

My Pains In Spring
My pains have four seasons
A spring, an autumn, a winter and a summer.
My spring triumphs over the rest.
In the spring of my pains
I am surrounded by smiles of sweet pathos within
And in my garden the blossoming pains flutter in the morning.
In the autumn of my pains
I am preceded by the hills of hopes mounted
And in my groves the pale pathos shed tears in the noon.
In the winter of my pains
I am hidden by the mist of dejected aims
And on my snow hills the sliding glaciers ensure a fall in the evening.
In the summer of pains
I am blasted by the heat waves of scattered dreams
And on my anvil of my poetry new lines are made.
I like my spring of pains
For I too have a human heart
And my garden of dreams will ever be there.....

Dejection
The sky is bright, the sun is hot,
the wind is blowing with rapturous sound,
But in my heart there reigns darkness
and pathos all around,
My life is under the burden of
self-imposed responsibilities,
Noone is there to share my overwhelming sensibilities,
I'm the messiah
of my own disease,
My vivacity fades my pain grows,
When I try to defeat or nearly cease.

Death of a Poem
Found dead in my study; lines strewn across the floor;
the slaughter of an unborn, a virgin text.
the sun electric, the burnt grass of the next life
that salinates the sea; an apple of the stars;
a dye stone; freedom as a whore and ghost of poets.
And the final pathos:
there are many ways of being dead before death.

Everybody got something to say but Ill be moving along and Ill see you all later
Logos is on the perch
I got some heaven in my head
Chaos is just a quirk
I got some heaven in my head
Pathos is-a starting to hurt
I got some heaven in my head
Mythos is-a gumming the works
I got some heaven in my head
I think Im starting to lose it
I think Im starting to lose it
I think Im starting to lose it
Chaos is on the perch
I got some heaven in my head
Pathos is-a starting to hurt
I got some heaven in my head
Mythos is-a gumming up the works
I got some heaven in my head

The severe pathos
With as much desire as that of a lad,
Devours upon young women, an old,
But in turn he only courts neglects.
A severe pathos that corrodes the old.
Only voyeurism is their rescue.

Hard Crossing
Where is that daunting monster
Boogie man in life’s shadow
Master mentor and concierge
Whose touch I’ve come to know
To you I’ll waste no breath
Beauty is not long and septic
My daunting docent of death
Midwife to misery work quick
What small dignities remain
Strung of vomiting seconds
Cultures a pearl of great pain
To ferry a man of no direction

The Flight
The wings hope for a surge
And the will longs for a feel.
But the flight never takes off.
In the mid summer of pathos and pains
Blows not the breeze of relief
And the sky looks deserted for once.
Mind has a mystery unresolved
That spans the life time of fear and fog
Undone by the waves of smiles and words.
The candle burns down from the top
Casting a shadow of imminent death
And the cry of life reaches the shores far.
The nights have darkened than ever before
And the timid hours of sleep have begun to haunt.
There is a need for a flight indeed.
Unto the skies of unknown glory and expanse
Let my wings take me ever and ever..
And I know not when that will be.
