An artist does not fake reality, he "stylizes" it.

Cushions

When my leaders
Sit in the assembly halls,
For legislation,
With fake brains, fake thoughts,
Fake eyes, fake looks,
Fake existence, fake appearance,
Fake education, fake degrees,
They seem to me
Fake, fake beings,
As if
Some one has placed cushions,
On the sofas and chairs;
Cushions stuffed
With rags of worn out jeans
Or old pieces of sacks
Made of jute.

The First Artist and Author.

The first artist painted the sky with colors, such beauty,

Look at those sunsets, and the mountains, such reality;

The mountains, have shadows, of splendor that only the Master can do,

Yes! It's God who was the first Artist, and He also taught me too.

The first great artist painted the colors on the sea,

Blues, greens, aquas, Only one could do this you see;

And when there is a storm near, the sea goes so dark blue,

Yes! God is the first great artist, to paint it for me and you.

The first great Artist, loved to teach David to write poetry,

And also king Solomon, writing words of such beauty;

Oh such magnificent works, of color and in each word,

Yes! There is only one who could do this it is the Lord.

Then. We see in every rainbow, and in each shell as well,

Look at the colored sands, and in every bird, it does tell;

Then look at each animal, and also the petals of each flower too

Then as you look at these, , give Thanks for doing it for me and you.

Unreal Reality

All that i see, seems so unreal to me,
Is it the truth or is it only fantasy,
Is it a dream or is it unreal reality?
All around me is such unreality,
Optical illusions as far as my eyes can see,
Is the whole thing a fake, or the ultimate reality?
That house is so big that it reaches right up to the clouds
It's got hundreds of windows, so the people inside can look out,
And they look down below and wonder what it's all about.
Look at that lady she got silver all over her face,
Is she a human being or a creature from outer space,
Is she authentic or phoney, i guess it's just a matter of taste.
Oh because they can feel it, it's gotta be the real thing,
Because they can touch it, it's gotta be reality.
If they say it's real, it's gotta be the real thing.
See that fella, looking all spick and span,
Is he a tailor's dummy or is he a real man,
Is he genuine, or straight off the assembly line.
All round me is such unreality,
Optical illusions as far as my eyes can see,
Is the whole thing a fake or the ultimate reality?
Is it a dream, or is it the real reality?

Fake World

Honestly I say that this world is a world of false -
So much what I experienced and learned from it
Fake world is part of the reality of my world
I love it - love it though not often I run out of breath so
It will not tell you that the world is filled with falsehoods fake
It there I find authenticity when the owner tried hard to hide

A Nude Artist

A Nude Artist

he says he is a nude artist
because he is naked when he paints

such nakedness has
nothing to do with being a nude artist

a naked artist who paints a cat or a chicken
is not a nude artist

there is no nude cat
thyere is no nude chicken

just paint a naked woman
and he will be called a nude artist

an artist is not an art
he must know that

Glitz, Glimmer and Rhinestone

For some reason,
Glitz, glimmer and rhinestone...
Seem to go together.
Like movies and TV.
And some people overheard in conversation.

If someone is in the need of costuming,
To enhance a 'theme'...
Or dress up to play 'make believe',
One would think people generally leave the 'real' stuff
Behind...
With an acknowledgement in their minds,
There is a time and a place that seperates fact...
From fiction.
And making long lasting impressions,
Requires one to be in touch with a bit of honesty.
At least the kind of honesty that is removed from gloss.

Unless...
Everyone has been in costume.
And those accustomed to being fake...
Take for granted,
That everything connected to life...
As they know life to be,
Has always been one they fantasized.
And lieing to oneself is accepted.
Since going through the motions is all one knows.

Isn't fake the new reality,
Today.
Even when the cameras are 'on'.
To catch what it is,
Being what it is!
Whatever 'What-it-is'...
Is!
And folks are being paid to...
Downgrade!
THAT is 'reality' for far too many people!

Fake Doctors And Fake Lovers

Fake doctors and fake lovers,
Waa it more to expose your degrees of your love? !
For your cultures are now seen around us,
And like the Red Devils in the land of your muse.

Blues, use, bus, be, sub, sue, us;
Of the fake doctors and the fake lovers!
And like the bones scattered at the mouths of the graves,
But among the rocks i will sit and watch your steps.

Some-Fake-A Baked Cake

No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have...
That which I don't.

A peaceless sleep...
Like many who walk 'mean' streets.
No I wont have,
None of that!

Strung out on dope,
Because I can't cope.
No I don't have,
None of that to keep me off track.
Or,
Make an impact.

No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have...
That which I don't.

No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have...
That which I don't.

Psychotic I'm not...
Like the ones who worry a lot.
Or hooked on smoking pot.
No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have,
That which I don't!

No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have,
That which I don't!

Even though...
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.

And I wont have...
None of that.

Even though...
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.

And I wont have...
None of that.
No!
I wont have...
None of that.

Fake Friend(Revised, In Line Form, Oh and Viewable

The poison seeps from of your eyes.
I can read your lies.
Pure and innocent are dead and gone.
Fake it just fake it.
Pretending your some thing your not.
In the end I win cause I have had been in the alleys.
I've slept in a abandon home to keep from catching cold.
Where were you then my fake friend?
Who do think your fooling?
Do you stop and try to give a ride?
So how bout it my fake friend.
Such a beautiful sharlton.
When I was getting beat up in the courts by five guys for protecting a races rights.
Where were you then my fake friend?
When my house burnt before my very own eyes.
Where were you then?
Hiding behind closed doors like so many times before.
Every thing has been standing still.
I knew the time would come when I would be done with it.
You can't help those who lead.
They'll follow no ones' road but there own.
Judge me not cause don't know how much ambition I truly got.
My fake friend you will not make your failings my own.
For each man women child breaks free of such tyranny.
This is to you my fake friend.

Started out trying to fake a smile
Disalusion - im in denile
There's something missing
Cause I can't feel a thing
I'm Desinitized!
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..anymore!
All this confusion is running deep inside my head.
How long can I keep this up
Before I end up dead!?
I can't beleive it
it could come to this
It's only feelings
so I can't resiste
Apology for sittin on my ass
I'm trying to beleive in something
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..anymore!

The Artist

The Artist and his Luckless Wife
They lead a horrid haunted life,
Surrounded by the things he's made
That are not wanted by the trade.

The world is very fair to see;
The Artist will not let it be;
He fiddles with the works of God,
And makes them look uncommon odd.

The Artist is an awful man,
He does not do the things he can;
He does the things he cannot do,
And we attend the private view.

The Artist uses honest paint
To represent things as they ain't,
He then asks money for the time
It took to perpetrate the crime.

Value Fever Pitch: An Artist’s Time

Bhoman F Jamhari said

'I am an artist - This does not
mean I will work for free.
I have bills just like you.
Thank you for understanding.'

Polite and to the problematic point.

Anyone who thinks believes
an artist’s time is worthless,
is definitely a person an artist
should avoid; such individuals

cannot comprehend
or remotely understand
aesthetic value of art.

Art takes time to produce.

Vision and artistic skill takes
even longer to realize to attain
expanding horizons. Time costs.

Artists of differing genre value
appreciate each other and art
which suits their temperament.

To create art
is the life blood
of an artist.

The air we breathe
is the home of art.

Creativity is our fevered mind songs
we sing in a legacy of image visions.

What kind of a con artist wants
to steal bread from an artist’s mouth;

therefore limiting the quality quantity
of future works of art, to be produced
by that artist. Answer an enemy of art.
