A Friendship Is But A Flower
A friendship is but a flower
Growing out in Gods garden
Helping out the fellow man
Not knowing should they get a pardon
A friendship is but a flower
Waiting to bloom in the spring
Waiting with a helping hand or an ear
To help or listen to most any ol thing

That God lends to us for a while

My Photograph
Of all the worldly goods I own,
Of all that I possess,
One photograph means more to me,
Much more than all the rest.
Who took this precious photograph
I couldn't really say;
I only know the subject is
More lovely than the day.
A face so radiant, so serene,
And known and loved so well;
This photograph I hold so dear,
I'd never give or sell.
True beauty comes from deep within,
It's something you can't buy;
It's captured on my photograph,
And cameras never lie.
It may be silly fancy,
And mock me if you will;
But when I choose to look at it
All time is standing still.

Friendship
Friendship is love,
Without friendship love means nothing!

Observation, acknowledgement,
gratitude, praise, a friendship –
call it what you will -
language is generous;
maybe it starts with, every birthday,
a fleeting touch of all this;
it could spread, every morning
an acknowledgement that love
wakes each morning with you
in the bed, in the air,

you could become as a Buddhist
and each breath would be
like that; the Compassionate One
