Pine-Trees and the Sky: Evening

I'd watched the sorrow of the evening sky,
And smelt the sea, and earth, and the warm clover,
And heard the waves, and the seagull's mocking cry.

And in them all was only the old cry,
That song they always sing - 'The best is over!
You may remember now, and think, and sigh,
O silly lover!'
And I was tired and sick that all was over,
And because I,
For all my thinking, never could recover
One moment of the good hours that were over.
And I was sorry and sick, and wished to die.

Then from the sad west turning wearily,
I saw the pines against the white north sky,
Very beautiful, and still, and bending over
Their sharp black heads against a quiet sky.
And there was peace in them; and I
Was happy, and forgot to play the lover,
And laughed, and did no longer wish to die;

Im sick and tired of the lies you told me.
Sick and tired of what you want me to be.
Sick and tired of the way we live.
Sick and tired Im in such a dread.
Sick and tired I want to go to sleep.
Yea so sick and tired it makes me weak.
Sick and tired dont wanna be me.
Sick and tired of no harmony.

Day aftrer day you just come out and say...
'Tomorrow will be a better day'
Well Im sick and tired of that over used phrase.
So sick and tired of the way you dont change.
Sick and tired I wanna go home.
Oh so sick and tired dont know where I belong.
Sick and tired of not getting along.
So sick and tired, thats it, Im gone.

Im sick of pretending its all perfect
Tired of living a lie actin like i kno and wonder why
Sick of loving you and having tha blues tryin to be equal to but reall me and you iz overdue
Tired of the tears I cry and saying goodbye draining me of your love you makin me crossed eye then i ask meself why do i even try?
Im sick of giving you my love
Tired of getting nothing in return
Sick of all other people in my life
Tired of being unable to learn and getin nothing in return
Im sick of running back to you
Tired of returning hurt it's like being in a desert
Sick of been laughed about

Heaven on Earth
We need it now
I'm sick of all of this

Depression, saddness
hopes, dreams
all things i have,
two things i want
i want to feel happy,
feel warmth.
im so cold.
i cant get warm. nothing helps.
blankets dont do any good.
im cold inside, not out.
my skin hurts
my hands hurt
they are sick.

i'm sick if writing about love
i'm sick of writing sorrow
i'm sick of writing anything
but that anythings all i know

i dont know of happy times
when our family was alive
when mom and dad weren't fighting
and sissy and i were alike

i dont know of little picknicks
where we lie down in the grass
smile and pass notes
in the back of class

i remember crying
when you told me this was good-bye

Tired Of Not Being Me

Tired of being compared to everyone else
Tired of never being good enough
So sick of being hated for something I am and loved for what I’m not
I’m sick of coming last
So now I’m putting myself 1st
I’m not going to waste a single second of my life trying to please anyone else
Why bother wasting my time on them when
I have to face my own fears and fight my own battles
I can’t do everything for everyone
I can’t make everyone happy even though I try or used to try
Because now my life is about me
Yes it may sound self centered
But when you think about it I have lived my life trying to please everyone else
I’m sick of playing games
Sick of pretending to be something I’m not
I’m sick of hiding behind this mask
So I give up now
Its time to take a stand
Time to be my own person
Take my own hand

The South wind said to the palms:

That Laylah's lover knows?

The North wind said to the firs:
I have my worshippers;
