I chose films made by people I wanted to work with, about subject matter I thought was intriguing.

I'd never painted anything before. I was quite content to take other people's work since I didn't care anyway about the subject matter. I approached subject matter as a scoundrel. I had nothing to say about it whatsoever. I only wanted to make these exciting paintings.

I can think of films that I'm producing right now that are extremely hard-hitting, graphic films, that nobody necessarily wants to see, graphic in terms of violence, of adult content and racial and historical subject matter.

Some of these things I saw in foreign films - African films, Cuban films - long before I decided to really go on this course as an actor. I started to think about what values I saw in those films that I wanted to bring to my projects.

Your Work Ethic
I thought you wanted a career
It turns out you only wanted paychecks
You can't find work sitting on your rear
I thought you wanted a career
That you may never work, is a real fear
Your work ethic continues to perplex
I thought you wanted a career
It turns out you only wanted paychecks

The films that have influenced me and the films that have motivated me and inspired me were films that resonated, films that made me think after I saw them.

There were a lot of people dreaming about making films, and they would finance maybe 6 films a year. Because they were funded by the government, the films sort-of had to deal with serious social issues - and, as a result, nobody went to see those films.

Assessments to Seduce
Address this any way you wish.
But during my grief periods...
God was with me.
And both of us sat in sorrow alone.
Your judgements passed on me does not matter.
Nor your assessments to seduce your reality.
Address this any way you wish.
But during my grief periods...
God was with me.
And both of us sat in sorrow alone.
I chose to heal.
I chose to sing.
I chose to dance and do those things.
Your judgements passed on me does not matter.
Nor your assessments to seduce your reality.
I chose to stand.
I chose to walk.
I chose the Sun!
Not the miseries others wished upon me to bring.
Hoping from obstacles faced,
I would run.
Address this any way you wish.
But during my grief periods...
God was with me.
And both of us sat in sorrow alone.
I chose to heal.
I chose to sing.
I chose to dance and do those things.
And whatever it is prioritized on your agenda?
I wish you all the best!
But don't count on me,
To give it attention with signs of protest.
I have chosen to ignore people like you.
Knowing that a focus on my own happiness...
Is what God wishes!
And that gift God has given...
Has proven to me I am blessed!
Address this any way you wish.
Your judgements passed on me does not matter.
Nor your assessments to seduce your reality.
I have chosen,
The freedom to be me.

But I think the thing I'm proud of about the film is that there aren't many films - either independent films or mainstream Hollywood films - that are like this; it's of its own times, and it's the film Mike Nichols wanted to make.

What for is money?
I thought on how could be the life
Without having to work for money.
After all this is the money which we work for.
Had we only have enough money to spend
We won’t have to toil our body or brain.
Solution also seemed very easy to me.
Just have a lot of mints to mint money.
Make as much money as may people need
Give them as much as may people want.
All problems are seemingly soon gone.
The root of all evils I thought could be
the root of happiness of all kind instead.
“How could this easy way out be overlooked? ”
Thinking furthermore I thought.
We need mints and we need paper and ink.
We need banks and a lot of ATMs.
People will get money and go for shopping
So we need ample shops. In shops we need products.
We need make shops and we need make products.
but we also need people to run them.
So some people will make paper and some ink.
Some other will work in mints and banks.
Some will work in shops and making products.
Rest all the people will only happily buy things.
Thinking up to here my thought jumbled.
People needed money so they worked.
If money was available for doing no work
Then why should there be anyone to work?
If no one works then where from comes paper and ink?
Where from comes money, banksand ATMs?
Where from then comes products?
Without products how could then we live and enjoy?
So we need products and for products we need to work,
to get people into the works we need money.
So it was that money could not be made free.
I thought 'People have already thought it before me.'

We'll be Together
No matter where we're
We'll be together
I'm not alone because I have you
People think we don't belong together and it a waste of time
I don't care what they say because
I love you no matter what
I feel you when you're not here
When we're part
We'll be together
No matter where we're
People made fun of me being with you, but
It doesn't matter what they say because you're a great guy
I know we will make it through
No one can stop me from loving you
I know we're inseparable
I miss you when you're not around
We'll be together
We can overcome what comes through us
People think they can keep us part and we won't do anything
I'm smart enough to know that I won't be fool by them
I be with you and hug you in my arms and also I don't care what they say
When we're part
We'll be together
No matter where we're
People made fun of me being with you, but
It doesn't matter what they say because you're a great guy
I know we will made it through
No one can stop me from loving you
I know we're inseparable
Even when we're miles apart
You're still in my heart and
Not another guy because I can't live without you
People will look at me like that and tell me things about you because
They think I shouldn't date you
So it doesn't matter because
I will be right by your side and love you forever until end
We'll be together

Wanna B Star
She wanted to be a star, Well known near and afar
Someone posh in a Brand new car
She wanted to be a star, Her fave in glossy mags
dressed so fine, not in rags
she never made it to be a star in her life
She got pregnant and became a Gypsy boys wife
Always shabby chic, kids in tow
She wanted to be a star but Could not say NO
She Wanted to be a Well known Star in Films on TV
Deep down inside she knew it never could be
She Died a Granny with Dreams in her head and Heart
There was never any hope for her from the start

On Naija mission
I encountered a question from Naija girl
”what I am doing in Niaja ‘
taken a back for while but replied
'any thing wrong dear to be on Naijapal'
'What are you doing her, tell me”
”frankly speak, what is your true age'
I said does the age matter,
' I am on humble mission',
Fumingly, I suppose, she became my pal.
'How come on Naija being Non-Naija man'
question was parried by another young boy,
what have I to offer to Naija people?
Not satisfied with answer but requested to add as friend,
He wanted inclusion only because he had no pal,
'He wanted female to be his pal'
Naija is being made as work place,
mission to work for community cause,
to feel the pulse of people and culture,
being one of them and ideas nurture,
with mixed feelings I try to mature,
I want to be your pal,
wrote another pal from abroad,
'fantastic job' why not make me as pal,
such a feeling for stranger,
so much wonder and still no anger,
It seems black is your favourite colour
May be you love passion for black girl,
I was taken a back by direct question,
he had sister to be married yet,
worried at heart, he wanted an answer from me,
Add me as pal and my sister too,
I am only bread winner,
It concerns me more as hopes fade,
Still no hope when his may wed
Situation is same, only stage is different,
'What is Naija 'or for that matter,
What is India or world,
role remains same,
Will Naija be able do it? Million rupee question?
All females and not many males,
may be mother’s dominant role,
and changing map of Naija,
That is why I am on Naija
Naija is used for Nigeria
