The jungle near manaus
The amazonas full of piranhas
The birds of paradise
Disappear into the green desert
For years and years
We are hungry and desperate
For the only thing worth living
The excess
We end our great mission

What for some people, wealth in haste amass?
What for some nations arms always accrue?
What for some persons sins commit, Alas!
They know that punishments are surely due.
Can not one change his attitudes for good?
Though old, some people's nature stays callow;
How much a stomach holds tho' dainty food?
Avarice to eat, you don't you allow.
Let excess things never remain with you,
The excess can be shared with all 'have-nots',
Your body serves others when you're dead too,

One state refuses water for the next!
But when it rains, the excess it must let!
Some people like to xerox-copy text!

Why can't one limit one's selfishness first?

Ch 03 On The Excellence Of Contentment Story 08
One of the philosophers forbade his son to eat much because repletion keeps people ailing. The boy replied: ‘O father, it is hunger that kills. Hast thou not heard of the maxim of the ingenious that it is better to die satiated than to bear hunger?’ He rejoined: ‘Be moderate. Eat and drink but not to excess.’
Eat not so much that it comes up to thy mouth
Nor so little that from weakness thy soul comes up.
Although maintenance of life depends upon food
Victuals bring on disease when eaten to excess.
If thou eatest rose-confectionery without appetite it injures thee
But eating dry bread after a long fast is like rose-preserve

Some have the heart but cannot make a start;
Some have the thought but in a maze, they’re caught;
Some have the will but body seems quite ill!
Some wish to help but cannot find the sums;

Some want to dream but things remain the same;

Some want to pray but God has His own way!
God gives us talents to nurture and use;

God blesses those who war for righteous cause;

Repeat...
If there is no serenity being received,
In the divinity being preached...
To you in such excess.
Something is missing,
From the listening process.
There are too many claiming,
To have this access that's exchanged.
Observed is a continuance...
Increasing a confusing mess that's gained.
Whatever is being confessed,
In these 'obsessions' one has and receives...
Where are the blessings being bestowed,
To spread from these 'sessions'
Digested and professed
When congregations
Disperse and leave.
Repeat...
If there is no serenity being received,
In the divinity being preached.
Many are not about in an outreach,
From the preachings observed...
Heard and 'suppose' to teach!
Leaving after being 'served'
With a 'wholesomeness' from these 'cliques'.
Are people who are full of themselves,
Making it apparent...
They are nothing more than hypocrites!

Sweet Success
Coming from a place of so much pain,
There was always gonna be something to gain,
So little remains,
So much to explain!
Oh the sweet touch of success,
Baby, not a moment of excess,
How far did we have to go,
Had to go real low!
Light coming up from below,
Feel the universe sigh, when you stop to cry,
Coming from a place so dry,
When we all stand still,
You can feel the chill,
The chill of spirits' will,
Every moment a blessing coming to me and you,
If we can all just stay true,
Gonna taste some sweet success,
Just don't go for excess!
When we fly amongst the stars in the night sky,

Lets go
One man at the window
One girl at the bar
Saw that look of recognition
When they know just who you are
I seen you on the tv
I seen you on that show
You make the people crazy
And then you let them go
Before the show we calm them
We sympathise, we care
And the hostile folk we keep apart
til the red light says on air

No one else goes there

The greater pain that they endure
