There is only one blasphemy, and that is the refusal to experience joy.

The Silence Of Indifference
if we do not write about rape issues
sensitive issues volatile issues explosive issues
if we do not voice our condemnation outrage
we then by default support these evils
with the silence of our indifference
with the silence of our fear cowardice
with our refusal to fight against injustice
with our refusal to fight prejudice inequality
with our refusal to fight for dignity for all humanity

Make me a cheat, dear.
Is your refusal to see me from
My perusal to see you?
Is your refusal to requite love
My perusal to repeat?
Is not the unfurling petals for
The untiring beetles?
For your momentary pleasure?
For one more to your portfolio?
I like you to be a cheat
As by that you’ll be upbeat.

Beneficial Dividends
A refusal to acknowledge truth...
Does not produce beneficial dividends.
And those unbelieving of this...
Are the ones insisting there is a fix that's needed.
And they are the ones who have done their best...
To suppress reality.
They wish not to experience it as it is,
Unless it has a 'smiley face' attached.
And a subtraction of harsh descriptions.

Blasphemy In Christianity
What is blasphemy?
Is blasphemy a sin?
Does Christian theology
condemn blasphemy?
It is written “Thou shalt not
take the name of the LORD
thy God in vain; for the LORD
will not hold him guiltless
that taketh his name in vain.” Exodus 20: 7.
This is blasphemy against God’s name.
Blasphemy? Is blasphemy a serious sin?
Is blasphemy the most serious sin?
The major creeds, the statement of beliefs,
the formal summary of the principles,
of Christian faith and Church theologians;
condemn blasphemy as very serious,
even the most serious of all possible sin.
Is blasphemy unforgivable?
Be careful brothers and sisters in Christ.
Some types of blasphemy are unforgivable!
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is
spoken of as unforgivable - the eternal sin.
“However, whoever blasphemes
against the holy spirit has no
forgiveness forever, but is guilty
of everlasting sin.” Mark 3: 29.
There is however, dispute over what form
this blasphemy, against the holy spirit may
take; and whether it qualifies as blasphemy
in the conventional sense. So, confusing?
The Lutheran Book of Concord calls blasphemy
“the greatest sin that can be outwardly committed”.
The Protestant Heidelberg Catechism declares
“no sin is greater or provokes God's wrath more
than the blaspheming of His (God’s) Name”.
For those with questions this confessional document
answers, about 100 questions, about blasphemy.
The Westminster Larger Catechism of the Church
of England, Scotland and in Presbyterian churches
worldwide explains that “The sins forbidden in the
third commandment are, the abuse of it in an ignorant,
vain, irreverent, profane... (by blasphemy) ...to profane
jests, ... to charms or sinful lusts and practices.”
The Baptists wrote in the Baptist Confession of Faith:
“Therefore, to swear vainly or rashly by the glorious
and awesome name of God…is sinful, and to be regarded
with disgust and detestation. …For by rash, false, and vain
oaths, the Lord is provoked...” Clearly unacceptable!
John Calvin during the Protestant Reformation
found blasphemy to be intolerable, stating: “when
a person is accused of blasphemy, to lay the blame
on the ebullition of passion, as if God were to endure
the penalty whenever we are provoked.” A no! Calvin
proclaimed absolute sovereignty of God in salvation.
Thomas of Aquino, Saint Thomas Aquinas, an Italian
priest of the Catholic Church in the Dominican Order
“it is clear that blasphemy, which is a sin committed
directly against God, is more grave than murder, which
is a sin against one's neighbor. … it is called the most
grievous sin, ... it makes every sin more grievous.”
If these documents and authorities
are not conclusive enough for you,
then view the Catholic Encyclopedia
for an extensive article on blasphemy.
Or dozens of other definitive sources.
One thing however is absolutely clear.
Blasphemy in Christianity is serious sin.

Blasphemy
Shoot me through the heart
Let me pay for blasphemy
If your heart says that
And you believe you achieve by killing me!
If you believe in having it your way
Killing people to usher a new day
Bloodshed can take you to your goal
You are nearer God when bodies roll!
Shoot me through the heart
Let me pay for blasphemy
Coz even as I depart
You have made God your Enemy!

The Screen Behind The Mirror
(m.cretu.) .
Heres the mirror
Behind there is a screen
Turn around
On both ways you can get in
The experience of survival
Look around just people, can you hear their voice
Find the one wholl guide you to the limits of your choice
The experience / of survival
Try to think about it ...
Thats the chance to live your life and discover
Try to think about it
The experience of survival
The experience ...
The experience of survival
The experience ...

Sonnet -On Experience
One cannot learn from experience always,
For Knowledge is a sea; experience, Lake;
Some learn the same in hours or weeks or days;
Some never do all life, forever fake.
Experience implies one had done mistakes;
It is much wiser to learn from others;
To forget knowledge too, experience makes;
A continued process, it is, brothers.
Experience can't vouchsafe a man is wise;
And wisdom comes to one who God well loves;
Too much of experience could turn a vice.
All need not see the burst of bombs or stoves.
By experience, no man should turn haughty,
Nor should he try to be with peers, naughty.

Practice v Theory for The Grandmas
A mother croons soft lullabies
but still her fretful baby cries
He has been fed and topped and tailed.
But everything she tries has failed.
He will not sleep although he should
It is as if he understood
his mother lacks experience
and cannot tell the difference.
Between distress and cussedness
Her baby’s trying to impress
on mother that he will not do.
As his mother wants him to.
But Grandma’s made of sterner stuff.
She knows her daughter’s had enough.
She bids her daughter go and rest
and she will show that she knows best.
She gently rocks him to and fro
he has no choice he has to go
. and soon he’s sleeping peacefully.
Another little victory
for grandmama’s old fashioned ways.
which she has had since younger days.
When she too lacked experience
but was not short of common sense
His mother heeds the experts view.
But grandmas know a thing or two
The child care experts of today
are mainly childless any way.
They may be college qualified
but haven’t had their patience tried.
By a babes refusal to
do what the books say he should do.

Sacrilegious Fury Rising
Blasphemy has failed for religious
fervour which empowered blasphemy
has faded rendering all shockingly
provocative words mere caricatures
of past offense damning exclamations
furious curse is feared now only when
curser is strong rabidly dangerous in
derangement vile awesome obscenities
hold rage power threatened promise of
painfully impending flesh punishment.
Ever the real power behind blasphemy
evil still blasphemes against true holy
powers with all impassioned vehemency
cursed dispossessed angel venom imbues
evil more cunning less obviously evident
unbelievable in age of excused scientific
ignorance yet Satan ranges howls banished
cast from heaven for evil words are like
hideous snakes slithering into corrupted
orifices of souls bound in personalized hell.

A Question About Religion....
to pass the time
we talk, i have nowhere to go
this self is not taking me
anywhere
i am not well dressed
i am a shadow of my mind
it is my mind that
is becoming my own body
my body is but
an afterthought
of a flash,
you do not talk much
you are surprised
you doubt about what is happening to me
i cannot explain
you do not want me to explain
it is obvious
each part of me is disappearing
my ears are dissolving in air
i have become smaller
when you stare at me
perhaps this is what happens
when shame
makes a decision
i do not feel any roundness of this earth
the space has become
another meaningless
edge of my
existence
i want to explain it now that
you start to speak
'what the hell is happening to you? '
you ask
feeling the roughness of my hair
'this cannot be true'
i nod my head and shrink
like some ice on the floor
and then
as you cannot see me anymore
you left
this refusal to believe
that things like these can happen to someone like me
i use to ask ' Was i God? '
it is this blasphemy that
meted the penalty
'Issa, Issa, are you preaching now
that it was not really what you intended? '
it is not too late yet,
it was the fake one
that spy that
was hanged
and died.
Lina, please leave the documents
on my table.
I cannot yet
find myself
just like the way you have not
forgiven yourself
once victim, now
the offender

Not From This Anger
Not from this anger, anticlimax after
Refusal struck her loin and the lame flower
Bent like a beast to lap the singular floods
In a land strapped by hunger
Shall she receive a bellyful of weeds
And bear those tendril hands I touch across
The agonized, two seas.
Behind my head a square of sky sags over
The circular smile tossed from lover to lover
And the golden ball spins out of the skies;
Not from this anger after
Refusal struck like a bell under water
Shall her smile breed that mouth, behind the mirror,
That burns along my eyes.

False Ideals
Invented by the human mind
Not knowing what was real
What sort of god lets people die?
Yet still to him you kneel
Only hypocrites and sinners
Feel they have something to gain
And the old, torn and afflicted
Think that he can heal their pain
What is wrong, why can't these people see?
Ask yourself is it truth or blasphemy?
You will find you cannot face adversity
No more time, such insecurity
Born again your conscience clear
You give your life to him
Renounce those who are faithless
Contentment lies within
Worship what you cannot see
Small minds you can distort
Force fed with false ideals
Why believe what you are taught?
What is wrong, why can't these people see?
Ask yourself is it truth or blasphemy?
You will find you cannot face adversity
No more time, such insecurity
So book in hand you stand and preach
Telling us to repent
Something about a promised land
Or eternal torment
Could this be your vocation
Or another mistake
Just deny provocation
>From this nightmare you'll awake
What is wrong, why can't these people see?
Ask yourself is it truth or blasphemy?
You will find you cannot face adversity
No more time, such insecurity

Missing puzzle
They talk of the puzzle that has the missing piece,
But none mention the piece with the missing puzzle,
It's hard when there is nowhere to turn for release,
And searches for acceptance lead to refusal,
It pains me to hear puzzles constantly complain,
For the piece with a missing puzzle cries in vain,
They try to fit in places that they never can,
And end up with a life like that of a cursed man,
They can pretend they are another puzzle piece,
And then try forcing themselves into a puzzle,
But it will hurt them until they crave for release,
And acknowledge their prospective host's refusal,
They will surely be doomed to tiresomely roam,
In a vain search for a place that they can call home,
Till they declare themselves a puzzle of their own,
And then learn how to be content being alone.

We All Come To Experience 'Our' Truths
We all come to experience 'our' truths.
We all come to experience,
Realities lived others may not accept.
Or come to believe,
If they are not there to witness.
Or see as they sit to observe life pass by,
From a closed window and behind locked doors.
We all experience our own sorrows...
With burdens to bear and struggles to conquer.
And yet there will be some among the 'doubters'...
Who believe nothing happens to anyone but themselves.
And when they experience a pinch of pain to feel,
It becomes worthy of a news broadcast...
To appeal with the getting of attention on their griefs.
We all come to experience 'our' truths.
We all come to experience,
Realities lived others may not accept.
Or come to believe,
If they are not there to witness.
And yet...
Highlighted are the most ridiculous afflictions,
Repeatedly for all to witness close up on TV sets.
