Perfect Harmony
In a world so far away
At the end of a closing day
A little child was born and raised
Deep in the forest on a hidden place
Mother never saw his face
Ancient spirits of the forest
Made him king of elves and trees
He was the only human being
Who lived in harmony
In perfect harmony
The woods protected, fulfillled his needs
Fruit by birds, honey by bees
He found shelter under trees
He grew up in their company
They became his family
A thousand seasons
They passed him by
So many times, have said goodbye
And when the spirits called out his name
To join forever, forever to stay
A forest spirit he became

The Vanished
The Vanished
It was not a forest more like a few forgotten trees
by the road, they stood close together as seeking
protection from vandals. Inside the day was dark
and I heard twigs breaking off, but saw no birds or
squirrels. Perhaps it was the spirits of the people
who had lived here but had died out as the forest
gave way to farm land and was reduced to dismal
woods of evergreens that was helpless against
agricultural progress. A way of life, beyond repair,
as a dead language that is but whisper in the wind.

The Green Roads
The green roads that end in the forest
Are strewn with white goose feathers this June,
Life marks left behind by someone gone to the forest
To show his track. But he has never come back.
Down each green road a cottage looks at the forest.
Round one the nettle towers; two are bathed in flowers.
An old man along the green road to the forest
Strays from one, from another a child alone.
In the thicket bordering the forest,
All day long a thrush twiddles his song.
It is old, but the trees are young in the forest,
All but one like a castle keep, in the middle deep.
That oak saw the ages pass in the forest:
They were a host, but their memories are lost,
For the tree is dead: all things forget the forest
Excepting perhaps me, when now I see
The old man, the child, the goose feathers at the edge of the forest,
And hear all day long the thrush repeat his song.

In The Forest
By the sacred grove, where the waters flow
We will come and go, in the forest
In the summer rain, we will meet again
We will learn the code of the ancient ones
In the forest
By the waterfall, I will hold you in my arms
We will meet again by the leafy glade
In the shade of the forest
With your long robes on, we will surely roam
By the ancient roads, I will take you home
To the forest
In the forest, in the forest
In the forest, in the forest
With your long robes on, we will surely roam
By the ancient roads, I will take you home again
To the forest
Satisfy the soul baby
Birds sing all day long of the mother lode
We can let it roll, in the forest
With your long robes on
I know where youre coming from
By the big oak tree youve gotta come and go with me
In the forest, in the forest
In the forest, in the forest
By the waterfall
I will hold you in my arms, and we will meet again
By the leafy shade, in the, in the forest
Satisfy the soul
Birds sing all day long of the mother lode
We can surely let it roll, in the forest
With your long robes on
I know where youre coming from
We will surely roam, down by the ancient roads

The Way Things Are Supose To Be
Finally, things are how they are suppose to be,
Me with you and you with me,
This is the way its suppose to be
We love each other,
Care for one another
Plan for the future
We are together and this will last forever
Our love is picture perfect,
Together we are unstoppable
Capable of anything
Indestructible
Nothing can stop us
This is how things are suppose to be
Me with you and you with me
Together forever in Harmony
Together we are lost
In a forest or a jungle not to be found
Once we are together things fall into place and we are happy
Finally, things are how they are suppose to be,
Me with you and you with me,
This is the way its suppose to be
We love each other,
Care for one another
Plan for the future
We are together and this will last forever
Our love is picture perfect,

Beautiful nature in the forest
Our beatiful nature
as it is full of leisure
it keeps us suuplied with food
and gives us too shelter which is good
our beautiful nature
in the forest the trees swing
while the birds sing
the grass dance at the birds tune
as their moisture will run away so soon
our beautiful nature
as you step inside the forest
i set my foot on the ground to rest
as the forest skin holds my feet
the dew rans way and the grass take a sit
our beautiful nature
i pick out a fruit from a tree
since they are provided for free
i dont even need to bend on to one knee
i relax inside with calm
since the forest has also a natural charm
which will protect me
from any living predators
lastly i came out happily
as i was fed so quickly
which makes me to be taking care of nature
so lets all take care of nature

Forest For The Trees
When youre a young man, down and out
You really need someone to help you out
It looks like life or death is your only choice
Its really hard to see
The forest for the trees
The forest for the trees
And when you get angry and everythings black or white
You should know that it isnt that simple, no ones always right
You know that youre life it worth living
You gotta start taking if no one else is giving
And if youre not afraid to open your eyes
You may be pleasantly surprised
Thigs are never as bad as they seem
You just gotta learn to see
The forest for the trees
So if you need somebody, tell them please
If you want someone, get up off your knees
Things are never as bad as they seem
You just gotta learn to see
The forest for the trees

Woodsman
A man of the woods carries his belongings
To a hut, where he proclaims a message
To his family, and restores himself with comfort.
The family knows he is not just a forester,
Underneath the leaves is a buried soul, he says,
One of the poor souls.
The forester never forgets the trees,
He, indeed, is a being with the woods,
Cutting down trees even in his spare time.
The family despises this lonely man of the forest,
The denial of human life is utterly obnoxious,
Life is precious, even all of nature cherishes it.
One day, this man of the woods described himself
In his world of timber, and laid his hands on his sons,
Teaching them not to take another soul just as he did.

Those bare forests
When I was young, I had gone to this forest,
It was dark, deep and wild,
Like my youth it was full of resources,
I had spent few days there and had learned how the forest life is?
Forest life means survival of the fittest,
I could not find difference between city and forest,
In city too only the fittest can survive else the human who have wore the leather of lethal animal will not let the herbivore animal like us to live.
After twenty years struggling in the city and being tortured by children,
I returned back to the same forest to see its growth,
I could see it was bare, cut by poacher, deforesters,
It had not followed its own rule and the trees which it holds were all ageing like me,
We both were thrown out of the society it was thrown by cutting and I by my own sons.
I and it had the same fate bare with few more ageing hair and trees to be removed.

Imaginary Creatures
In this make believe world
imaginary creatures dangle from the trees
In a forest where emotions run free
For what they feel they never agree
It`s a future they will never see
In a forest with closed doors
The imaginary creature holds the key
To a future that will never be
So as i walk this forest of make believe
I search no more for what i see
It`s just creatures dangling from the trees
In a life that will be as they see
So i`ll just leave this forest be
And search no more for that key

Sunny
In a rainforest lives a girl named 'Sunny'
Lives amongst trees of alder ‘n cedar
A beautiful child, bright and funny
From afar, many come to meet her
Where’s she from you may inquire?
Is she a fairy, gnome or elf?
No, she's a daughter of Mt Hood, born of fire
Should you find her, ask her yourself
What is destined for this wondrous child?
Will she be a healer, mystic, forest queen?
Nay, she’s far too humble and mild
The most perfect child the world’s ever seen
Should you walk Sunny’s forest one fine day
She just may find you and teach you to play!

Mother's Instinct Is Something Unique
In the forest lived a mother bear,
Caring for her baby brought her happiness,
All day long she cuddled and nurtured him,
Rolling, turning and playing with him with her paws.
He was so joyful near his mamma,
He played with her all day, not letting her rest,
When he was feeding, having her milk,
He would growl at her, want more and more again.
There was a strong connection between mother and baby,
They both lived in peace and harmony,
She only needed to look at her baby,
And knew every need that he had.
Crossing that forest was a road,
One day the baby bear playfully escaped from his den,
He ran away to chase some buterflies,
Not aware of the danger of the road.
While following butterflies and playing,
He jumped in front of a car that was speeding past,
The driver couldn't avoid hitting him, in the seconds that passed,
The car hit him so hard, to death.
The driver was sad for what had happened,
He felt so lost and devastated,
The thought that baby bear's mamma couldn't say good bye to her baby,
Left him sick with her pain.
When mamma bear showed up there, she picked him up,
Started to roll him, trying to make him react,
But very soon she realized the cruel reality,
That her baby was no longer alive.
She cuddled and held him in her paws,
And with despair growled at him,
She raise her head towards the sky,
And growled even louder with her grief.
She started running through the forest,
Scratching any trees that she could,
She scratched vigorously and continued to growl,
Till many trees has no more rind.
She began digging a hole in ground,
Finally to bury her baby into it,
She coated him with soil,
And then sat there looking helplessly at his grave.
Any mother's instinct is something unique,
The love of a mother towards her child, is a blessing from God indeed,
If a mamma bear can cry out with grief at losing her baby,
Why can't women from our world to do the same?

Let Your Spirit Fly
(9/3/12)
Let us take our spirits that we have inside
And join with others so that they may fly
Let us become united as one and accept
Our GODS son.
You do not have to be Christian to accept
What I say.
But looking to GOD is what I pray.
We all know GOD in our hearts
For he is life, so let's not tear ourselves apart.
We have all seen or felt that spirit rise
It is something we can't deny.
He is with us where ever we go
And this much we all know.
He is the giver of life
The redeemer of death as we lie
In our bed.
Everything that we have
Everything that we've become
If not controlled by another one
Was given to us from the LORD
Above, because of his everlasting love.
Let your spirit fly high above yourself
And look to see what he has given,
Isn't this life really worth living?
The sun, the moon, the stars above
All part of his love.
The trees, the breeze, the gentleness of the grass
These are things that will last
The oceans, the rivers, the brooks and streams
And the mountains that stand in between.
All the creatures that walk and crawl
And swim this earth
From GOD they was given birth.
The birds that fly in the air
And the beauties that they share
The butterflies and the bees
All live in harmony.
As your spirit is seeing all this
And all of his creations
Why would you doubt that he
Is our salvation.
Let your spirit fly and join all the others
For we was created as sisters and brothers.
LET YOUR SPIRIT FLY

Lover's Gifts XIX: It Is Written in the Book
It is written in the book that Man, when fifty, must leave the
noisy world, to go to the forest seclusion. But the poet proclaims
that the forest hermitage is only for the young. For it is the
birthplace of flowers and the haunt of birds and bees; and hidden
hooks are waiting there for the thrill of lovers' whispers. There
the moon-light, that is all one kiss for the malati flowers, has
its deep message, but those who understand it are far below fifty.
And alas, youth is inexperienced and wilful, therefore it is
but meet that the old should take charge of the household, and the
young take to the seclusion of forest shades and the severe
discipline of courting.

Village Song
HONEY, child, honey, child, whither are you going?
Would you cast your jewels all to the breezes blowing?
Would you leave the mother who on golden grain has fed you?
Would you grieve the lover who is riding forth to wed you?
Mother mine, to the wild forest I am going,
Where upon the champa boughs the champa buds are blowing;
To the köil-haunted river-isles where lotus lilies glisten,
The voices of the fairy folk are calling me: O listen!
Honey, child, honey, child, the world is full of pleasure,
Of bridal-songs and cradle-songs and sandal-scented leisure.
Your bridal robes are in the loom, silver and saffron glowing,
Your bridal cakes are on the hearth: O whither are you going?
The bridal-songs and cradle-songs have cadences of sorrow,
The laughter of the sun to-day, the wind of death to-morrow.
Far sweeter sound the forest-notes where forest-streams are falling;
O mother mine, I cannot stay, the fairy-folk are calling.

The New Forest
Tall trees offer the birds and beasts much protection;
Of flora and fauna, there is a truly fabulous collection.
Through the forest, ponies roam around wild and free;
Up above their heads, the small birds nest in the trees.
Under the canopy of the trees, the world seems so dim,
But, in grassy clearings, the sunlight is suddenly let in.
Trees, caught from falling, stand at an angle, inclined;
With other trees, their twisted limbs are now entwined.
Rabbits risk emerging from warren holes to run around;
Their long ears stand erect, listening for the tiniest sound.
The forest is punctuated with patches of soft, marshy land,
Where large pools of stagnant water, always seem to stand.
Herds of deer roam around, with their heads held up high;
But on seeing any human, they suddenly feel slightly shy.
Earthen tracks have been formed, by countless falling feet;
Eager to avoid the hidden dangers, of the soft bogs of peat.
Couples companionably dawdle, as they exercise their dogs,
Who, in their eagerness, vault over fallen, moss covered logs.
The boughs of Silver birch trees gently shimmer in the sun;
Twigs snap under foot, sounding like a shot fired from a gun.
The silence is sometimes broken, in places, by passing trains,
But once they've passed by, peace and quiet, once again, reign.
Leaves, twigs, pine cones, and berries, carpet the forest's floor.
For birds and animals, the forest is Mother Nature's food store.
The forest is a sanctuary from the pressures of modern living;
The pace there, compared to everyday life, is more forgiving.
The forest can be a magical place; it seems almost enchanted.
Tiny tots believe fairies live there and want their wishes granted.
Here and there, the ground rises into grassy mounds and banks.
The trees stand tall, like the attentive soldiers in military ranks.
In the shady spots, unfurl a multitude of magnificent spiky ferns.
In autumn, dressed in bright colours, the trees almost seem to burn.
Broken boughs lie abandoned; under lichen laden logs, insects hide.
Streams meander through the forest, and the surrounding countryside.
All of this outstanding natural beauty, is given to us humans for free;
There isn't a more tranquil place upon this earth, where I'd rather be.

Icculus lived at the top of the mountain, or at least everyone thought so, for no one had actually ever seen him. But they knew he existed, because they had the Helping Friendly Book. Icculus had given the Helping Friendly Book to the Lizards thousands of years earlier as a gift. It contained all of the knowledge inherent in the universe, and had
enabled the Lizards to exist in harmony with nature for years. And so they lived; until one day a traveler arrived in Gamehendge. His name was Wilson and he quickly became intrigued by the Lizards way of life. He asked if he could stay on and live in the forest; and the Lizards, who had never seen an outsider, were happy to oblige.
Wilson lived with the Lizards for a few years, studying the ways of the Helping Friendly Book, and all was well. Until one morning when they awoke and the book was gone. Wilson explained that he had hidden the book, knowing that the Lizards had become dependent on it for survival. He declared himself king and enslaved the innocent

But our story begins at a different time, not in Gamehendge, but on a suburban street in Long Island, and our hero is no king sitting in a castle, he is a retired colonel shaving in his bathroom.
Colonel Forbin looked square in the mirror and dragged the blade across his cold creamed skin. He saw the tired little folds of flesh that lay in a heap beneath his eyes. Fifty-two years of obedient self-restraint, of hiding his tension behind a serene veil of composure. For fifty-two years he had piled it all on the back burner, and for fifty-two years it had boiled, frothing over in a turbulent storm inside of him. Friends of the Forest (Memories of Clayoquot)
A small band of protesters
gathered in the forest.
Together their voices growing,
rising on the wind.
A Chorus.
'Stop cutting the tree's'
they cry.
'Stop raping the land.
Our Mother Earth gives us life,
touch her with a gentle hand.'
No Help
from government officials.
'Just pass the tax.' they say.
And the workers in the forest
don't want to find another pay.
So the Friends of the Forest
take a stand to show us how
the power of our words and actions
can start a change
here and now.
The future's in our human hand.
Reuse the trees.
Replant the land.
Show the world a better way
as the forest's guardian.
We are God's
each of us
in a small way,
creators of a future world
with each choice we make today.
