Ain't Gonna Grieve
by Bob Dylan
Well, I ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
And ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
Come on brother, join the band,
Come on sisters, clap your hands,
Tell everybody that's in the land,
You ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
Well, I ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
And ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
Brown and blue and white and black,
All one color on the one-way track,
We got this far and ain't a-goin' back
And ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
Well, I ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
I ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
We're gonna notify your next of kin,
You're gonna raise the roof until the house falls in.
If you get knocked down get up again,
We ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
Well, I ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
I ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
We'll sing this song all night long,
Sing it to my baby from midnight on.
She'll sing it to you when I'm dead and gone,
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more.
Well, I ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
Ain't a-gonna grieve no more, no more
I ain't a-gonna grieve no more

Time Is Slow For Those Who Wait
time is so slow for those who wait
too swift for those who fear
too long for those who grieve
too short for those who rejoice
but for those who love
time is eternity......................................... ................................................. ................................................. ................................................. ................................................. ................................................. ................................................. .................
let me not wait some more, let me not fear, let me not grieve, let me not have eternity....
let me just rejoice, because my time is too short

Prayer Prompt Psalm 113. Praise for God's Kindness
Rejoice the servants of God!
Blessed be God forever!
Rejoice, O children of God!
Blessed be God forever!
Rejoice, God heals the sick
Rejoice, God frees the meek
Rejoice, God gives to the needy
Rejoice, God feeds the hungry
Rejoice, God shelters the homeless
Rejoice, God takes care of the fatherless
We adore you, O God,
We bless you;
For in the holy cross –
You have redeemed the world!

Parental Guidance
Sang the Father to his only Son,
'Rejoice! Rejoice!
Before
your life's time has come
'fore it all
is said and done! Rejoice! Rejoice!
Rejoice! whilst thou remains
bless'd vigor and young!
Rejoice in all good humor and health!
Rejoice!
for the inherent miracle and wonder
of creation's living wealth!
Rejoice when thou hath come of age
and like time
I in physical have come to pass
remember to Rejoice then
my torch bearing son
Rejoice! Rejoice!
In singing the collective unborn
death surpassing carol of ONE! '
'Repent Repent'
hush'd the warning of the mother
to her youngest tight warm wrapped
meek lap sitting
child
'Repent Repent my timid little lambkin
today whilst thou remains innocent
and the sun doth shine
its ever youthful forgiving
smile
before the furious tempests
and fatherly stallions
of vengeance and wrath
over earth run wild
Repent... my child
Repent
Repent... Repent My tender babe
for every birth brings forth another
bless'd chance to be saved'

One Day Someone Will Say The Same Of Me
The hearse through the main street is passing slow
With the funeral cars following in a single row
Is the dead person a he or a she?
One day someone will say the same of me.
And did that person die young or old
And will her or his life story be told?
To the departed that does not matter 'twould seem
As the dead do not have a sense of self esteem.
The funeral towards the cemetery winds it's way
Up through the main street at noon of day
But on the cortege shoppers no interest show
As in and out of shops they go.
The dead from the Land of the living gone
But life for the living must go on
And the same fate surely awaits you and I
As the dead person in the hearse going by.

My Father's Blessing
I am my father’s best
I am his blessing
I do not cry during
His funeral
I do not grieve
Because he is waiting.

The word mother
The word mother,
Has a secret power,
Whenever I'm in danger,
You'll be there.
The word that gives me power,
The word that protects me,
The word that accompanys me,
Is you, my mother.
The person that encourages me,
The person that gives me confidence,
The person that gives me motivation,
Is you again, my mother.
The person that gave birth to me,
The person that cares for me,
The person that feed me,
The person that teaches me,
It's you, my mother
Happy mothers day!

I had a thought on your funeral...
Eighty years of life
on this Earth
Was it worth?
I had a thought on your funeral.
Eighty years ago in heaven
when you were just the soul
and wanted to forever become
a part of this whole
You urged God to grant you a life
And promised
you would this time achieve your goal
But did you keep your promise at all?
I had a thought on your funeral.
The aim of your taking birth was
Service, contribution and asceticism
You instead chose
Hoarding, platitude and hedonism
God prescribed
Love, joy and compassion
On your life you inscribed
Jealousy, gloom and repression
I had a thought on your funeral.
Childhood’s dawn wiped out in dependence
Lust devoured on the morning of adolescence
Youth’s noon you squandered
due to fear and apprehension
Dusk of old age got totaled in
egotism, vanity and pretension
I had a thought on your funeral.
I asked myself
Was I any different from you?
Was I keeping my own promise to God?
The response from within came in negative
My heart did not give the nod
Seeing you sleeping in God’s lap
with a performance that was dismal
Your funeral appeared to me
as God’s signal
And I realized I had a chance to change
before I reached my own burial.
I had a thought on your funeral.

Envy
though I have penned down
a lot of qualities of you
inspite you have given me a single clue
I am the only person on the earth
who has loved you since his birth
loving you, for me, was such a fun
that I forget that you have forgotten
that only person on the earth
who has loved you since his birth

Sorry I missed your funeral.
Will you ever forgive, me for missing your funeral?
You might have seen the pain I felt when I heard you passed
Every time I see your picture
My heart just pours out
My eyes get filled with tears
Cud be because I never said goodbye
Daps I really loved you
Deep down in my heart you still live
Your memory lives in me
You I will never forget
Bhelekazi be free, and maybe then I too will be
All I need to know is ….
Are you mad at me?
Have you forgiven me?
For missing your funeral
I was never told of your ill health
Only of your death I was told
How I wish you were still alive
So many things we cud have shared
How can you die so early?
When I was just to matriculate
You were a strong and a loving person
Humble and trusting
Will you ever forgive me for missing your funeral?
Of little words you were
Of much love you gave
You’d take me and Zameka
And brag about your two daughters
Though I was just your niece
I love you Bhelekazi
I miss you so-langa
Will you ever forgive me?
For missing your funeral

Memories
Memories have no age, no death but birth.
They come out not as per seniority.
Love and hatred have given them birth.
Pain and pleasure are their end products.
Joy and sorrow are their finished goods.
They tell me to love or hate a person.
They tell me to fear or scare a person.
Memories are the soul’s manifestation.

Celebrate Spring Today
Rejoice, my love, rejoice,
Its spring here, rejoice.
Bring out your lotions and toiletries,
And decorate your long hair.
Oh, you're still enjoying your sleep, wake-up.
Even your destiny has woken up,
Its spring here, rejoice.
You snobbish lady with arrogant looks,
The King Amir is here to see you;
Let your eyes meet his,
Oh my love, rejoice;
Its spring here again.

Uniforms
(3/9/12)
So many uniforms worn in this life, and inside them
You'll find your loved ones -your soul mate
Son, daughter, husband, or wife.
Firemen, policemen, nurses, and military too
They all have a job to do.
And as you look at them with pride
You thank god they're by your side.
The uniform does not make the person
But the person makes the uniform.
Because in it they pour the heart and soul
And it's there where they belong.
The firemen and women who run into a burning house
The cop who goes into the line of fire
The nurse who held their hand on you to stop the bleeding
And of course the military soldier
Who protects our country day and night
And will give up their lives in a fight.
Yet we do not stop and say:
"Thank you for all that you do
I am very proud to know you."
Their uniforms are just their shells
And at times they go thru hell.
But there is a person who never wore a uniform
But created all of them who wear it.
He is all these people rolled into one
He is "GODS SON".
He made these uniforms so that we can see their worth
And it was given to them from their birth.
So many uniforms to show what we do
But it doesn't show the inner you.
This uniform is seen only by god
It is called the human heart.
This uniform can not be replaced
by anything on this earth
For it was given by god at our birth.
We can be as beautiful or as vicious
As any animal on this earth, or as
Soft and sensitive as the most delicate flower
This is given to us from the lords powers.
Let us rejoice in what he has given
And make this life " worth living".
