Living A Lie
Im living a lie because I cant tell the truth.
Theres a fire in the basement,
A fire on the roof.
Im just sitting in my chair wearing a smile.
Im going to vanish in the air after awhile.
Did did you get the news that Im lost at sea
Hey, hey somebodys confused though it couldnt be me.
I wasnt near that place.
I dont know where it was.
She didnt see my face.
You know its true because
I know wise things.
I know about these things.
I know why it is caged,
So I dont know why Im enraged.
Im lying about my birth and Im lying about my death.
For all Im worth, I lie with every breath.
Lying homes are built on my crying habitations.
Heres the milk that I spilt,
My undying lamitations
I know about these things, I know about these things
I know why it is caged,
So I dont know why Im enraged.
Bass/guitar solo:
Always the brides maid, never the bride.
Look what my brides made, out of my life.
Always the brides maid, never the bride.
Look what your brides made, you shook my life.
Always the brides maid, never the bride.
Look what your brides made, and you know, you shouldnt have lied.

You Aint Going Nowhere
Clouds so swift, the rain wont lift
Gates wont close, the railings froze.
So get your mind off wintertime,
You aint going nowhere.
Ooooo ride me high
Tomorrows the day my brides gonna come
Oooo are we gonna fly
Down in the easy chair
Buy me a flute, and a gun that shoots
Tail gates and substitutes
Strap yourself to a tree with roots,
You aint going nowhere
Ooooo ride me high
Tomorrows the day my brides gonna come
Oooo are we gonna fly
Down in the easy chair
Well I dont care how many letters they sent
The morning came and the morning went
So pack up your money, and pick up your tent
You aint going nowhere
Ooooo ride me high
Tomorrows the day my brides gonna come
Oooo are we gonna fly
Down in the easy chair
And genghis khan he could not keep
All his men supplied with sleep.
Well climb that hill no matter how steep
When we get up to it
Ooooo ride me high
Tomorrows the day my brides gonna come
Oooo are we gonna fly
Down in the easy chair
Ooooo ride me high

Yellow Overall Exceptionally Positive, With A Few Exceptions
Yellow
It is said to be the sunny color,
but the sun is really so much more
When I think yellow
Coward comes to mind, sometimes even Congress
lovely home all painted warm with white shutters
a brides maid dress made to make the bride look best
the perfect cheap mustard
lemon fresh in the liquid aide or sitting on the counter
light bulb burning brightly
a jaundiced baby
orange juice which is funny cause usually its not orange at all
lines between the opposite sides if the road
tassel from graduation
sponges made for cleaning up all the spills
when your sick there are always little yellow pills
So many things are just so bright
without explanation I see that they
might need to be made apparent with
the brightest color of the rainbow
so that there importance is not missed
they are viewed without exception
Overall a positive color
with only a few exceptions
Jaundice easily cured,
I don’t know what to do about Congress

Jasmine & Jonquils In June...
Jasmine and Jonquils In June
Bougainvilleas and Brides Are In Bloom
Also Roses and Ribbons In Rooms
Growing Standing Ovations Of Grooms
White Satin, Silk, Chantilly Lace
Soft Symbol Veils, Flowing Over Lady’s Face
As Long Trains and Butterflies Chase
Yet, In A Vision of Elegance and Grace
Slowly, She Moves Down The Aisle
Amid Garden Rows Of Sunshine Smiles
Been Waiting For The Season Awhile
But GOD’s Blessings and Bouquets: Always In Style
As Expectant Hush, Fills Fragrant Room
For Exchanged Vows Of Brides and Grooms
And Their New Life About To Bloom
Like Jasmine and Jonquils In June

The First Fruits
Once upon the rivers of hope,
Once upon the fountains of waters,
Once upon the valleys of dreams,
Once upon the mountains of love,
Singing as it went through the gardens;
The first fruits of the muse matters a lot.
A message to the walled city,
To it's appointed owners;
No more pain,
No more sorrow,
No more tears,
No more death,
No more crying,
Of the former things gone too soon;
With all things mad anew on a high mountain.
Walk with me in white to know about this story,
Like the potter's vessels;
The first fruits of love is with us all.
In a deep valley,
You should keep the fire burning;
Like brides adorned to their husbands.
To the first fruits of hope,
Like a sickle on the earth;
To the first fruits of dreams,
Like the leaves for healing;
This land of rivers do ned rest.
Life is like the mystery of a woman;
It is noted,
It is written,
It is done!
Like the bride and the groom in the deep valley! !
So, let the first fruits be enjoyable,
And let the artist's pens do judge the mystery;
It's all like a walled city at peace.

A Pink Rose
A Pink rose is for the one,
Where love has blossomed and bloomed,
Where passion and purity,
With love and peace,
Combines and grows,
That brings forth the Pink rose,
Of the Red rose,
And of the White rose,
When both entwine,
Comes the Pink rose,
For all the blushing brides,
When the proposal is asked,
With the Pink rose as a sign,
Is one asking another,
In love and loves first
Red and White,
That all will show,
And carry a wedding bonquet,
Are all the Blushing brides to be,
For the Pink rose if for the one,
Where love has blossomed and bloomed,
Representing passion and purity,
That has love and peace,
Combining and growing,
From two different in color,
One extreme to another,
From the Red and the White,
That combine,
And show true love,
A Pink rose evolves,
Showing true love,
It shows in it's splendor of Pink,
For the blushing bride to be,
So to say,
'I do',
When the question is popped,
On this Valentines Day,
Valentine's Day,
A day of proposal's,
Where it is asked,
From one to another,
'Will you be mine',
From this Valentine's Day,
On to,
The next,
And,
The next,
And,
There after.

Rose Bouquets
I lay down
frilly covered
bouquet still
at my side;
lovely gown
arrayed
I lay down
rose petals all around
my arms at my side
my groom
outside
murmuring.
I am prepared
for this my surrender
or this my consummation;
this my mistake?
The Unknown?
The Alone?
The Bride.
Where do virginal brides go;
they hide in the rose petals
and wait.
I plucked a rose from
my bouquet-
gathered my
wits
and sat up on the bed
to walk to the door
to greet
my new husband;
face to face.
Bride I thought,
should stand up
because marriage now
means
more that courting;
marriage here begins
true partnership;
meet him at the door.

The time
Wedding was over;
Brought home was the bride,
With whom came a maid,
To serve her as an aid.
Days rolled;
As honey, appeared the bride;
As savour, moved about the maid,
As a rule, in a household.
Time lapsed;
The bride shed her charm
And the maid ruled calm
In their wait at the groom.
Event happened;
The groom went blasé
With the honey in use
And the savour was in wait for use.
Fate played;
The bride in the race ran first
But the maid ended first.
The bride was aghast.
It is a game;
The diminutive waxes;
The gigantic wanes
In the field of time.

The Revenge Of Love
Oh! Rukmoni, are you listening?
How can you listen!
As you are living in a far away land
By chance if you listen this poem
In the sky or air, take it for granted
That it has been written
For you and if you have time to spare
Go to the silent bank of the river
Or listen to it closed door ever.
Oh! Rukmoni,
I have taken the revenge
Not against you
But against me,
The job why I had not got
In the proper time why I had not.
So when I was breaking the steps
Of the heart of yours
And the houses and the doors.
The steps were trembling
The stars of the sky were whirling
In a fear as if the things might go in a wrong way
Your parents would come out and say
That it would not be possible for them to keep the promise at all
Though to me they would be extremely polite humble.
Suddenly all the hopes would get their wings
Flying like a thread less kite all the dreams.
The job I have got today
And beg to you to pardon me
Why in the proper time I did not!
So you are away from me …apart
Still I feel you in the corner of my heart
And in my every dropp of blood red
And in the every soft touch of the wind.
Just remembering the name of you
I get an immense pleasure in the world of dream
Like a white cloud floating in the paradise
When I am in the ocean of sorrow of my life.
So many brides I have seen
So many brides I have been shown
I have rejected them all
Saying ‘'I am very well alone''
They will not feel the stone
They will not feel the feather
Of my heart and soul
Which I feel lying alone
Looking at the doors of my dream
Tearing down of all the bondage
My love is coming….!
Even though living in the reality
I don't understand why
This is not a truth, it's a lie.
In the multitudes
I am alone and bitterly lonely
With a delirium mind and a heart full of pangs and agony
The eyes are in the sky, I walk down the road
And in my imagination I draw your face in the cloud
Who are sometimes laughing!
Who are sometimes crying!
What is that to me?
Even you are away from me
I got you in the clouds of imagination
In every pose and in every position
Just like that, come to me
And sit down to say sweet or sad story
I promise, I shall not end the journey.
To make me forget your memories
The virtual road ends in my house
I could not do anything but to stand up
In the wall of your picture to draw up
Which sometimes crying!
Which sometimes laughing!
Playing the flute of the dolorous
The nectar of my heart glorious
She talks with me like a mad woman
And saying that I became a mad man.

Let It Breathe
Could we do it again
If he asked how it felt
And I didnt say this time
You tried to scare me with empty thoughts
That means not a thing
cause Im down behind you
Could we swing it again
If I changed how he looked
And turned to the right to bend
You live with something that I cant explain
But your face cracks a smile when you see it shining
You feel things in your own way
And Im supposed to lay down and bow to you
Im tired of bailing hay for something that I cant see
I dont want to be you
You dont want to be me.
Just let it breathe
If the moon goes up tomorrow and Im down on a farm
And you dont believe whose writing with me
Keep your hands to yourself
Keep your mind to yourself
Keep your breath to yourself
Let me float on by you
You see things in your own way
And Im supposed to lay down and bow to you
Im tired of bailing hay for something that I cant see
You dont want to be me
I dont want to be you
Its so very necessary
Its so delectable to see a stone
Its so impossible to find a reason
When youre standing there
Watching me now
Could we live it again
If we dressed just the same
And held on to lovers when
We couldnt really live with anyone
See mostly ourselves so just go on lying
You feel things in your own way
And Im supposed to lay down and bow to you
Im tired of bailing hay for someone that I cant see
I dont want to be you
You dont want to be me
Just let it breathe
Let it breathe

Shamans Blues
There will never be, another one like you
There will never be, another one who can
Do the things you do, oh
Will you give another chance? , will you try, little try?
Please stop and you remember,
We were together, anyway, all right
And if you have a certain evenin, you could lend to me
Id give it all right back to you, a how it has to be with you
I know your moves and your mind
And your mind x6
Will you stop and think and wonder?
Just what youll see
Out on the train yard
Nursin penitentiary
Its gone, I cry out long
Go head, brother
Did you stop it to consider? , how it will feel
Cold, grinded grizzly bear jaws, hot on your heels
Do you often stop and whisper?
Its saturdays shore
The whole worlds a savior
Who could ever, ever, ever
Ever, ever, ever, ask for more?
Do you remember?
Will you stop? , will you stop? , the pain
And there will never be
Another one like you
There will never be
Another one who can
Do the things you do, oh
Will you give another chance?
Will you try, little try?
Please stop and you remember
We were together, anyway, all right
How you must of think and wondered
How I must feel
Out on the meadows
While you run the field
Im alone for you
And I cry
The sweat, look at it, optical promise
Heh, heh, heh, youll be dead and in hell
Before Im born, sure thing
Brides maid, the only solution
Isnt it amazing?

Volcano Girl
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Tell me, tell me what you really want from me
You gotta let me know
Im falling off and I need you terribly
One down, and one to go
Volcano girls we really cant be beat
Warm us up and watch us blow
Now and then we fail and we admit defeat
Were falling off
We are watered down and fully grown
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
A million miles of running
And I hit the wall
I bounce back and I run some more
This is it, Im giving up
Im calling quits
So get down and meet me on the floor
Way to go, way to flip off everyone
I steal your thunder then I try to bolt
But I could stand a little pity now and then
Im falling off, I am watered down and fully grown
Go, I dont wanna go
I dont wanna go
I dont wanna go
I dont wanna go
I told you about the seether before
You know, the one thats neither or nor
Well heres another clue if you please
The seethers louise
(one, two, three, wow)
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Leave me
Lying here
Cause I dont wanna go
Leave me, leave me, leave me
Go, I dont wanna go
I dont wanna go
I dont wanna go
I dont wanna go

Ordinary man
Ordinary man has no place in any country
Politicians and others have made it mystery
Daily once scandal is coming out from cupboard
Normal man is spending night on the road
Jhuggis (huts) are burnt so are the brides
Country is open to vultures and nothing to hide
No flesh can be extracted from swindlers
Only ordinary man suffers with peddlers
Remind them of their place in earthly khud
They must know and let the truth be understood
What to talk about public, youth or aged
We are all riders on same horse and totally caged
They can do politics on rotten wheat
Poor starve and can not have it or eat
Go downs store enough of grain
But only to disappear from gates called main
Why not we bar them from contesting election?
Why not they be charged and face with action?
Why not behind bar like ordinary culprits?
Same treatment and same punishment as deemed fit

Brides and mothers-in-law are like dogs and monkeys.
Only A Lad
Johnny was bad, even as a child everybody could tell
Everyone said if you dont get straight
Youll surely go to hell
But johnny didnt care
He was an outlaw by the time that he was
Ten years old
He didnt wanna do what he was told
Just a prankster, juvenile gangster
His teachers didnt understand
They kicked him out of school
At a tender early age
Just because he didnt want to learn things
(had other interests)
He liked to burn things
The lady down the block
She had a radio that johnny wanted oh so bad
So he took it the first chance he had
Then he shot her in the leg
And this is what she said
Only a lad
You really cant blame him
Only a lad
Society made him
Only a lad
Hes our responsibility
Only a lad
He really couldnt help it
Only a lad
He didnt want to do it
Only a lad
Hes underprivileged and abused
Perhaps a little bit confused
His parents gave up they couldnt influence his attitude
Nobody could help
The little man had no gratitude
And when he stole the care
Nobody dreamed that he would
Try to take it so far
He didnt mean to hit the poor man
Who had to go and die
It made the judge cry
Only a lad
He really couldnt help it
Only a lad
He didnt want to do it
Only a lad
Hes underprivileged and abused
Perhaps a little bit confused
Its not his fault that he cant believe
Its not his fault that he cant behave
Society made him go astray
Perhaps if were nice hell go away
Perhaps hell go away
Hell go away
(repeat chorus)
Hey there johnny you really dont fool me
You get away with murder
And you think its funny
You dont give a damn if we live or if we die
Hey there johnny boy
I hope you fry!

To Defy The Laws Of Tradition
What if christmas didnt come this year
And no one paid for christmas cheer?
Who would cry the biggest tear,
The child or the store?
Why do brides wear virgin white?
Most do not deserve that right.
But to choose a color of their delight
Would surely bring on the frowns.
To defy the laws of tradition
Is a crusade only of the brave.
Suppose the taxman, he comes to town,
And you dont lay your money down.
Yet mr. jones he killed mr. brown the other day.
Well I wonder, whos gonna go to hell.
