Privacy under what circumstance? Privacy at home under what circumstances? You have more privacy if everyone's illiterate, but you wouldn't really call that privacy. That's ignorance.

The 'Good' Life
Wake up in the morning to screaming,
Reporters getting into your personal life,
No privacy,
As you walk down the street,
You are followed constantly by people you do not know
No privacy
You break up with your girlfriend, for the fifth time
It’s on the cover of a magazine
No privacy
Every fucking shit we take,
It’s recorded somewhere
No privacy
You die a tragic death at a young age,
People who you have never met attend your funeral
No privacy
This is what we call the “good” life…

This has been a learning experience for me. I also thought that privacy was something we were granted in the Constitution. I have learned from this when in fact the word privacy does not appear in the Constitution.

Privacy
Depending on the degree of one's privacy,
It is recommended...
One chooses to say nothing.
And if one 'does' one should create.
Privacy is not respected.
And having a peace of mind,
Many people who will never have it...
Don't understand it and that is what they hate!
'I told her not to say a word to anyone.
And she couldn't wait until I got off the telephone...
To tell my business to everyone.
And she calls herself a 'friend'.

As a social good, I think privacy is greatly overrated because privacy basically means concealment. People conceal things in order to fool other people about them. They want to appear healthier than they are, smarter, more honest and so forth.

The backgrounds enhance.
Silence after storm is quieter than silence.
Peace after war is stiller than peace.
Privacy after turmoil is calmer than privacy.
Sex across the fence is lustier than sex.

I don't think when people sign up for a life of doing something they love to do they should have to sign up for a complete loss of privacy. I understand a little loss of privacy coming with the job.

Live It As It Exists
More than a few are possessive,
Of a privacy they protect...
That, with time, gets for others,
Less accessible...
With no regrets.
Trust is a factor,
And the key to one's peace.
'Some' one knows do not honor this.
And eventually are discovered,
To be the core of disharmony...
Within a friendship that is thought to be,
Closer than it is in reality!
More than a few are possessive,
Of a privacy they protect.
And trust is a factor,
One wishes to keep unsuspected.
And when respect is an issue,
Anyone has to raise?
With those trusted in an inner circle,
That had not before been appraised?
Something about the need for this...
Should not be argued but dealt with quick!
More than a few are possessive,
Of a privacy they protect.
And trust is a factor,
One wishes to keep unsuspected.
With a peace of mind,
One should not have to define...
But live it as it exists.
There is no need for a quarrel,
To begin over it!
One should have what one deserves.
And to live it as it exists.

The Anonymity Of Pain....
...because of pain, one hides,
who wants the sounds of pain to be heard by
people whose concern is not even
equal to a curiosity?
one takes shelter in the privacy of
a room, closes the doors and windows
and then bleed
and shout in pain,
no one hears this tragedy
this private thing
that demands the patience
of an
enduring injury,
one keeps a record of his privacy,
here, he writes, his name is a falsity,
his place faraway.

Dark And Metric
No taxi could take you,
No trains rolling by,
No bicycle shop,
No planes in the sky.
Planes in the sky.
Not a night spent in jail,
Parrot on my arm,
Not a man of the world,
No patch on my eye.
Patch on my eye.
Dark and metric is my town,
Every day and night.
Just because you're floating
Doesn't mean you haven't drowned...
No spoiler, no windscoop,
No mag wheels in back,
No hydraulic shocks,
No privacy glass.
Privacy glass.
Dark and metric is my town,
North, east, west, and south.
Just because you're smiling
Doesn't mean you haven't drowned.

Change has come indeed, but it is becoming increasingly difficult
The changes we were looking for
Have indeed come
But with a bigger bang
And bitter challenges like
Economy
Education
Healthcare
Hou sing and what not
Any amount of helping
The industries and others
Seems to be not capable of
Fetching the results
We would like to see
There is no point
Looking for changes outside
Now we need to change within
Oh, fellow countrymen
We need to come together
Share the resources
And that is only way
To combat the challenges
Already existing and
In the making
If you love your country
And if you want that back
On the original track of
Growth, Development and Opportunities
Try to understand this
And put the same into practice
If you visualise your nation
As a mansion
Its strength depends on the
Quality of the bricks
You used in building the same
The bricks of a nation
Are nothing but the families
It is holding
Family is a small organisational system
Comprising blood related individuals
And the quality of the family
Is the bonding between members of the family
And their quality and value systems
If you want to do any good to the country
You need to improve the bonding
Within your family and
The quality of family members
Any attempt in this direction
Will bring all members
Of your family together
And this will make
You understand the strengths
And weaknesses of
Every one of you
Your determination to be
Together will make you
Share the resources
Which will make you
Understand your
New strengths and hidden potentials
Your being together bonded
Is of a great help to the nation
As your resouces' consumption
Will drastically come down
You will not be needing
That many houses
As your house-occupancy
Will be far far better
Your energy bills
Will be only a portion
Of your present bills
You may not be needing
That many cars
I know, it will be difficult
To get into this mode of thinking
As all these years
You have been free
And enjoying privacy
This suggestion will
Definitely rob you off some of the
Freedom and privacy
But when your very
Survival and existence
Is under threat
I am sure you will not mind
Compromising
And again you will understand
That freedom does not mean carefree
Real freedom means 'carefully free'
Privacy is more like give and take
If you do not damage other's privacy
Your privacy is assured
Give a chance to your family bond
Face the challenges effectively
And help your nation succeed

Stop Reading My Poem!
Hey, you, stop reading my poem!
It's private, just for me!
It's not been written on a whim,
Like plain old poetry...
It's magical and lyrical
And so much more besides,
In fact, it's like a miracle
In which this poet prides...
Hey, you, these words are mine alone,
Be off with you, I say!
Go on, just leave me on my own,
Please kindly scoot away...
It's true, my poem's quite unique,
But it's still on the go!
The thing's not finished, please don't peek!
You nosey so-n-so...
Are you still here! ? No privacy!
No privacy at all...
I guess that's just not meant to be,
No matter how I stall...
I'm testing out my short, short lines,
Rehearsing rhymes at best,
Still writing stuff for highbrow minds,
So that they're feeling blessed...
I'll upload to the Internet
As soon as my job's done,
Till then, be patient, please don't fret,
That takes away the fun!
Just one more verse, I'm almost through,
Please leave, no need to fear...
Excuse me, I'm talking to you!
Yes, you, 'cos you're still here!
