Saint Dominics Preview

Shammy [chamois] cleaning all the windows,
Singing songs about edith piafs soul.
And I hear blue strains of no regredior
Across the street from cathedral notre dame.
Meanwhile back in san francisco
Were trying hard to make this whole thing blend,
As we sit upon this jagged
Storey block, with you my friend.
And its a long way to buffalo.
Its a long way to belfast city too.
And Im hoping the choice wont blow the hoist
cos this town, they bit off more than they can chew.
As we gaze out on, as we gaze out on
As we gaze out on, as we gaze out on
Saint dominics preview
Saint dominics preview
Saint dominics preview
All the orange boxes are scattered.
We get to safeways supermarket in the rain.
And everybody feels so determined
Not to feel anyone elses pain.
(you know that) no ones making no commitments
To anybody but themselves,
Hidin behind closed doorways,
Tryin to get outside, outside of empty shells
And for every cross-cuttin country corner,
For every hank williams railroad train that cried,
And all the chains, badges, flags and emblems
And every strain on every brain and every eye (? )
As we gaze out on, as we gaze out on
As we gaze out on, as we gaze out on
Saint dominics preview
Saint dominics preview
Saint dominics preview.
And the restaurant tables are completely covered.
The record company has paid out for the wine.
You got everything in the world you ever wanted
Right about now your face should wear a smile.
Thats the way it all should happen
When youre in, when youre in the state youre in;
Youve got your pen and notebook ready,
I think its about time, time for us to begin.
And were over in a 52nd street apartment,
Socializing with the whino few,
Just to be hip and get wet with the jet set.
But theyre flying too high to see my point of view.
As we gaze out on, as we gaze out on
As we gaze out on, as we gaze out on
Saint dominics preview
Saint dominics preview
Saint dominics preview.
See them freedom marching,
Out on the street, freedom marching.
Saint dominics preview.

Preview I Do

Preview I do,
Untaken steps.
To prepare and let,
My mind project...
Those things yet,
I must select.
And some I am reluctant,
To forget.
With wishes...
To have more of a happiness kept,
For me.

Preview I do,
Those hurdles and hoops...
I've jumped through.
With needs too common.
And wants too few.
Knowing that darkside,
Like others do too.
When love held escapes.
And hurt stays in its place.
Wishing again to taste it like I knew.
Hoping to go on,
In what seems an empty pursuit.
With a past reviewed continuously.
To prevent a preview I do of pain.
That may come tomorrow.

Fix Your Gaze

When you hit your note
Its like you had no choice
I cant resist distractions web
When you use that voice
On a crowded stage
I play soliloquy
Im at the center of the earth
When you gaze on me
The familiar ring of the native drums
Sometimes I hardly recognize it
Inspiration comes
With the tip of my mind
Holding back the sea
I have no choice but to prevail
When you gaze on me
Ive got the ghost of a new machine
Where I can find reality routine
Every time you fix your gaze on me
When you gaze on me
I feel a ring of fire
When you gaze on me
And I lose all desire
Fix your heart on me
Ill show you what Ive memorized
Fix your gaze on me
I need to see your eyes [uh - good god!]
Out in the cold the assassin waits
Armored by love no sword can penetrate
Every time you fix your heart on me
Im a new machine
Where I can find reality routine
Every time you fix your gaze on me

I Sit Upon My Horse

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at the field
A field of rippling grass
Blowing in the wind

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at the sky
A clear blue sky
Filled with clouds

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at the sun
A yellow sun up high
Shining on my face

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at this world
A world fashioned,
Created by my God

With a half a dozen deer with rudy to lead

Bewildered By The Process of Progress

I will perceive a dangling done,
As a preview of a coming lesson.

And comprehension for this session,
Is a prerequisite.
Pretentions and anything less than common sense...
Will not reveal the purpose,
As to why something appearing out of reach...
Attracts most and gets immediate attention.

I will perceive a dangling done,
As a preview of a coming lesson.

And I will learn what that lesson is,
Without concern of the consequences.

Something will be exchange to my benefit.
Whether I limp in pain or walk away entertained...
I am going to gain an experience.
And a life lived can not be done without them!

You know...
Those experiences,
We more often get as we grow...
To eventually sit us down acknowledging,
Just how blessed we are!
And in appreciation of what has been accomplished,
As some reminisce bewildered by the process of progress.

In The Mirror

I saw his gaze in the mirror,
My gaze was superior for miles.
The innocent way of smiling became real,
His gaze fell from grace to a level
Of importance too known by some.
The mirror’s atmosphere nears function,
Too little are the buttons to press.
May superior art beam on us from afar,
And let windows be mirrors for their art.
A bedazzled crew of workers labour
Night and day, for the cleaning is in order.

Sinner Or Saint

Stand bold, for the ride,
Right now, you know that is the place to be
To watch humankind, stumble into another century
Take no prisoners,
Their sure at giving you the run-around
Violance, on your mind,
Cus your attention is the battleground
What are you?
A sinner or saint
You gotta be
A sinner or saint
Ice cool walawyers,
Straight up and guerentee your gonna get
All that you deserve,
Sit down, blockin your way, seen nothin yet
(chorus)
What are you?
That is your fate
You gotta be
A sinner or saint
Some poeple love too fast
Some people live too long
And so Ive got to ask
Do you know right from wrong?
Disa-ssembler, will you ever, really be a saint...
Still on for the ride,
Who cares if you loose or win
They can bleed you dry,
When youre, a pumping the adrenelin
(chorus)
What are you?
Its never too late
You gotta be
A sinner or saint..

Magdalena

Writers: danny okeefe
Magdalena sits in her chair
Speaking on the mass
She talks in splice and splinters
She laughs not breaking glass
She said that she would have me
Spirit her away
Stealing all my images
Till theres nothin left to say
Oh, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are
Your love is like a razor
My heart is just a scar
Oh, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are
She tells me that she wants me
Then she tells me not to bother
She tells me that I couldnt hold
A candle to her father
She knows that shes got me
When I start to rave about
Shell justsmile and flash her eyes
And blow the candle out
Oh, magdalena
Oh, ho, ho, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are
Magdalena lying there
Could make a dancer stumble
Make a preacher bite his tongue
And leave him with a mumble
And if you think Im crazy babe
Or that Im kiddin you
Just pay your dues and lose your blues
When she gets her tongue in you
Oh, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are
Your love is like a razor
My heart is just a scar
Oh, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are
Well, I cant be forgotten
And I cant be ignored
You find me with my poems
And my songs
But if upon your journey youre turning to l.a.
Wont you take this little red-haired girl aong?
Oh, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are
Your love is like a razor
My heart is just a scar
Oh, magdalena
Nothing like the saint you are

Your Gaze Is Full Of Ice (Wyatt Sonnet)

I am at war and yet, no fighting has begun:
I have no fear, from me this war did not arise
but when you look at me your gaze is full of ice;
at a time in your eyes was nothing but the sun.

At times we were happy had a lot of fun
and your attitude, your gaze is a big surprise
as if sheer betrayal, is in your soul, in your eyes,
as if something terrible had made you run.

Your gaze makes your feelings altogether plain
but life is not that simple; you left me for another
and now you long to love him; to meet him rather
while you laugh, is somewhat thrilled with my pain.

I wished to have feelings that transcends life,
as at a time you were very dear and my wife.

Saint Valentine defines Tough Love

When those you most love
die
that's the time to speak in praise of love
(said Saint Valentine) .

When those you have most loved
up and go, without a word,
that's the time to speak in praise of love
(said Saint Valentine) .

When those you would most love
want nothing to do with you,
that's the time to speak in praise of love
(said Saint Valentine) .

When you feel that all you need right now
is a little love, to change your life,
that's the time to speak in praise of love
(said Saint Valentine) .

When you feel cheated by love
because it's never come your way,
that's the time to speak in praise of love
(said Saint Valentine) .

Trust me. It's not easy to become a saint;
said Saint Valentine.

I Dreamt You

I dreamt you
last night
After years that I thought
that my dreams were dry
as I remember
all those days
before I lost my I

Your face clear in the crowd
your hallow curly hair
the innocence of childhood still
no stains beyond repair

I dreamt you
in a middle
of another dream.
Just standing
looking forward
with that look upon your face,
without a smile
without a tear
in golden shining innocence

Your face was like the moon
in full glow but of cold
as if the preview of your life
when your dreams will grow old

I dreamt you
in a riddle
of an unknown golden mean.
Teasing me
with your eyes wide
your gaze so true
in holy hue
a lie could not avail
no passenger in this old ride
but captain of the sail

I dreamt you
last night.
I awoke in comfort and at ease
a master of my life and
in my hands I hold the keys.
I woke refreshed and energised
with certainty I knew
that all is well and there is hope
for I am still just you.

Waiting. As if In the Cold...Outside!

Waiting.
As if in the cold...outside!
Feeling a joke had been told.
And I knew it.
But was not suppose to admit this.
Yet feeling inside a warmth that satisfied.

I saw the picture,
Before the pieces of the puzzle...
Had to others been known.
'Something' had shown me a preview.
And I could not tell who...
Or what it was that came to chill me to the bone.

An aloneness I knew and tolerated it.
My experiences existed,
In a time I envisioned before they came to visit.
And I would wonder 'why' I was permitted,
To see, feel and touch what had yet to arrive.

Waiting.
As if in the cold...outside!
Feeling a joke had been told.
And I knew it.
But was not suppose to admit this.
Yet the older I get,
More secluded becomes my 'unique and differentness'!

I saw and knew.
But couldn't tell how.
So there I stood...
Waiting.
In the cold...outside!
Feeling a joke had been told.
But did not know 'why'...
'Something' had shown me a preview.
And I could not tell who...
Or what it was that came to chill me to the bone.

I was not alone.
Nor was I existing to live on my own.
And I knew this but did not know why,
Me?
Nothing did I do,
To welcome delusions.

The Sky And I

When I gaze up in the sky
I wonder how it is that I
can be so far away from you
and then I wonder why?
Rainbows form and raindrops fall
and changes everything I see.
I guess it's just the same for you.
You see the changes in me.

For you have an effect down here
even though you're not that near.
You soothe me as I look at you
and your tender scene so blue.
But when I gaze and see you gray,
that's the way I am all day.
