In a democracy dissent is an act of faith. Like medicine, the test of its value is not in its taste, but in its effects.

Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Is there a way to find the cure for this
Implanted in a pill?
Is it just the name upon the bottle
That determines if it will?
Is the problem youre allergic
To a well familiar name?
Do you have a problem with this one
If the results are the same?
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Well strip the bark right off a tree
And just hand it this way
Dont even need a drink of water
To make the headache go away
Give me sugar pill
And watch me just rattle
Down the street
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine

Take Your Medicine
Walk with my eyes closed
I bump my head
Look at the stars falling on the ground
Saw someone crawling underneath my bed
Looked in the mirror caught my reflection, said oh...
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
And dont complain if it dont taste good
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
If it dont do the trick then I know what will
Open the paper
Eat ham and eggs
Java in a cup
Middle of the front page
I saw a man with a gun
Pointing at his head
Eyes in the camera
I can almost hear him say, oh...
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
And dont complain if it dont taste good
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
If it dont kill ya first then I know what will
I met an angel
Come from above
I buy her everything
Could this be love?
She gives me sweet dreams and nightmares too
Early in the morning she whispers in my ear, oh...
(chorus)

Taste Of Medicine
The sky is low and the clouds are mean
His mood burns like kerosene
The air seems charged with a special qualm
It feels like fahrenheit four five one, four five one
Malice burns like a constant pain
It will never be the same again
Her body is tense to the touch of fear
The terror screams ring my ears, pure and clear, pure and clear
It sends a shiver down my spine
Through these walls I hear her whine
It sends a shiver down my spine
I lost faith in humankind
A throbbing sound, a suffering voice, pleading on and on and on
A taste of your medicine, a taste of your medicine
The worms were severed in his head
I tried to think of what, of what they said
The cleaving currents of dispute
Now leave you with a bad repute, another one, another one
You set your seam with your hands
The giving comes, the taking ends, the talking hands
It sends a shiver down my spine
Through these walls I hear her whine
It sends a shiver down my spine
I lost faith in humankind
She shouts, screams and cries; its not his fault, keep him here
Come , hurry , run, run,
A taste of your medicine, a taste of your medicine

Traffic Jam: The Trap Of Traffic Light
It's not only test your luck, but also test your patience
It's not only test your guts, but also test your instinct
It's not only test your sanity, but also test your obedience to law
It's not only test your ethics, but also test your fidelity
It's not only test your sight, but also test your reflex
It's not only test your estimation of time, but also test your street knowledge
It's not only test your ego, but also test your kindness
It's not only test your control, but also test your awareness
It's not only test your attitude, but also test your responsibility
It's not only test your priority, but also test your humanity

Testing Your Faith
I'm not testing your faith, I believe in you, and that my GOD is the truth! I know, sometimes it looks as if I'm testing your faith, when something hits me hard that's too much I begin to give up so easily! When I should know through you everything will be okay! sometimes I gotta cry and naturally wonder WHY? is my life this way! is it because we are humans as much as creatures whom you've made? I have somehow tested my own faith! yet I believe! then something go wrong and my faith has weakened me! then I listen to your words and they shall be all I take, and when I fall I look up to you, and I say this life is a test my GOD! filled with your faith! so after each storm how can I really test your faith...

My Father's Chocolate
My father's chocolate
gets me through
the times
I shouldn't
and still I do
I cluck
and duck
and hide away
to take
the bite
and bait
thank you
This one small
vice -
just one small
vice?
a taste
a test
a taste
thank you
A test?
no, no
It's just
a taste
again, again
AGAIN!
thank you
(Thank you)

Medicine Man
I'm the doctor, I can mend your broken heart
I'm the healer, I could take you right back to the start
So if you wanna take the chance well you better be sure
Baby, I'm the medicine man, I've got the cure
I'm the medicine man
I will make you the kinda girl that feels no pain
I can take you and put you back together again
So if you wanna jump on board well you better be sure
Baby, I'm the medicine man, I've got the cure
I'm the medicine man
That's what I am
Doing what I can
Cause I'm the medicine man
Listen, lady, don't make me drive you outta your mind
Cause together this remedy's not hard to find
So if you wanna take the chance and I'm damn sure that you do
Baby, I'm the medicine man
Now the rest's up to you
I'm the medicine man
That's what I am
Doing what I can
Cause I'm the medicine man
Medicine man, medicine man

Medicine Bow
Theres a black wind blowing
A typhoon on the rise
Pummeling rain
Murderous skies!
Im gonna take my books
Im gonna wear my coat
Im gonna find my scarf
And wrap it around my throat
And you can
Come with me
Through the driving snow
Were gonna ride on up to
Medicine bow
Well I spent too long
Just stuck on the shore
Theres a man in my head
But he isnt me anymore
Im gonna find me a ship
Stowaway on a boat
Im gonna burn all the words
And letters and cards that I ever wrote
And you can
Sail with me
Where the current flows
Were gonna move on up to
Medicine bow
Im gonna change my colours
Cancel my things
Stop my squawking
Grow some wings!
Well I will not sleep
And I will not rest
I will put my soul
And my will to the test
Im gonna tug at my tether
Im gonna tear at my lead
Im gonna test my knowledge
In the field of deeds
And you can
Run with me
Fast as we can go
Over the hill to
Medicine bow

In democracy
In democracy
Writ of the peole runs.
In democracy
Repesentatives should not
Called leaders.
In democracy
Representatives must not
Act as er whim.
In democracy
Representative should not
Show dictatorial style.
In democracy
Representative should not have
Arrogance of power.
In democracy
Treachery and
Ruthless decisions
Not good.
In democracy
The representatives
Should be sensitives
Towards sensitive issues.

Familiar
From spawn soundtrack
Could there be a familiar ring everytime I sing about
Cycle the tears everything in life no doubt i, i
Reiterate to my jaw is off-set,
But Ill say it again anyway,
What you give it what you get!
X2 verse:
Look at you now, look at you now,
Youre put in your place, put in your place oh,
All medicine, all medicine is smacked in the face,
Smacked in the face again!
Whisper: x2 smacked in the face again.
So when the door comes swinging back around and the taste
Of familiar medicine is abound on your breath, breath, breath
Please dont come crawling back to me,
Cuz youll know what Ill say
Brother let your knees bleed please!
X2 verse:
Look at you now, look at you now,
Youre put in your place, put in your place oh,
All medicine, all medicine is smacked in the face,
Smacked in the face again!
Whisper: x7 smacked in your face again
X4 verse:
Look at you now, look at you now,
Youre put in your place, put in your place oh,
All medicine, all medicine is smacked in the face,
Smacked in the face again!

Oooh oh

My Saints...now My Demons.
Saints turned to demons
Purity stained with grit
A heart yelling for deliverance
Muffled by a mind calling for vengeance
Knowledge was silenced by blind rage.
World turned up side down
Faith clung to for hearts grown weak
Minds cracked under pressure
Faith was all they had left in the
Revolting days and flighty nights.
Hung and crushed
By their faith in others
And saved by their faith in
Night’s lonesome powers
Delivered to their heavenly home
By their faith.
Hope was known
To be no good on this test
This was life or death.
This test turned my saints to demons
And demons into saints
The test
The test was vengeance, integrity,
And though there could have been reason
Was based out of lunacy.
Saints left this world
bludgeoned and blood,
Demons left pure and with a halo.

Faith and its role
There are two kinds of faith people live with:
Faith in lordship and faith in fellowship;
The first is that someone will do for you
And the second is others won't fail you.
With faith in the shepherd, the sheep follow.
With faith in the fellow sheep, the sheep feed.
Without faith in system, you can't follow.
Without faith in others, you can't transact.
Faith in God, faith in fate and faith in luck
Would weaken the faith you have in yourself.
Faith in love, faith in trade and faith in helps
Would slacken the cognizance you possess.
Faith can't be dispensed with altogether.
Faith in the unknown has no guarantee.
Faith in the known has no certainty
But can strengthen their faithfulness to you.
Faith in parents and faith in teachers,
Faith in doctors and faith in medicine
And faith in judges and in justice
Denounced altogether, one cannot exist.
Faith in spouses and faith in children,
Faith in siblings and faith in servants
And faith in professional ethics
Abandoned altogether, one cannot thrive.
Without faith, promises bear no meanings.
Without faith, guarantees have no bearings.
Without faith, investments will have no life.
Only with faith could life be felt secure.
Faith might crack when it is misplaced.
Faith might break when it's sabotaged.
Faith might crash when it's blindfolded.
Yet, one has to vouch for faith in life.
Faith comes from ignorance of things.
Faith comes from lack of influence.
Faith comes in helpless conditions.
Faith exercises no control yet.
Have faith in you and accept the outcome.
Have faith in others and give allowance.
Have faith in future and shelve the distress.
Faith vacated, worries will occupy.

Taste Or Life?
They say honey is sweeter than wine;
Many say kiss is sweeter than wine!
Some are fond of sweet taste in all;
Many like hot taste in food we eat ever.
Taste is just a flavour of coffee we take;
Tasteless food nobody likes at first ever;
But food for living life cannot be ignored.
Sugar coated pill makes us take medicine;
Just like that taste makes food delicious!
Taste various from person to person ever;
Hence one man's food is another's poison!
So also taste for poetry, novel and articles
Say about one's mind, heart and soul ever;
More than taste food for living is fine ever!

Hoodoo / Voodoo Medicine Man
Silence, I'm ashamed, I was left as a child
Dragged from the cradle, I was weaned in the wild
Ran with the wolf pack, flesh torn to shreds
In the compensations, I was left there for dead
Read it in the paper it ain't fair
You know who today don't seem to care
Livin', lovin', gettin' loose
Masturbatin' with a noose
Now someone's kickin' out the chair
Some kind of voodoo
Come across this land
Some kind of voodoo
Be the medicine man
Everybody's lookin' at the sky
Don't believe the cover-ups and lies
They been tellin' us since birth
Pissin' off old Mother Earth
My gones are bygones prophesied
Some kind of voodoo
Come across this land
Some kind of hoodoo
Be the medicine man
Get ready
Wonder should I go or should I stay
'Cause what we got ain't workin' anyway
I did my best, God knows I tried
I feel like I been crucified
Why did you, why did you, why did you take it all away
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man
Voodoo, hoodoo, medicine man

Relations to God
Staunch faith in God
Makes one mistake medicine for magic.
Shallow faith in God
Makes one mistake magic for medicine.
No faith in God
Makes one mistake fate for luck.
Blind faith in God
Makes one mistake luck for fate.
