Were There Hope

I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles

To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.

But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

When I Am 65

When I am 65
Every day will be a blessing from God
When I am 65
I hope that I will still be able to see with my eyes
When I am 65
I hope that I will be able to hear well with my ears
When I am 65
I hope that I will still be able to talk
When I am 65
I hope that I will be able to walk long distances
When I am 65
I hope that I will still be able to look after myself
When I am 65
I hope there will be somebody that will take care of me
When I am 65
I will be retired
When I am 65
I hope that I will not be isolated and lonely
And I hope that friends will be around for me

I hope to be able to see my nephew more

Hope is what strives you to be the best that you can.
Hope is what helps you hold on.

Don't give up hope

Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
There is still a whole slew of scope in hope

I know how you feel
Your predicament is unpleasant and real
Before you crumble and stumble
Like a lone wolf in your solitary struggles
I hear the sadness in your tongue
Realize that your suffering will pass
Its duration may be long
Hang in there, be strong
I know the words to your plightful song
You are not where you wish to belong
But giving up hope is forever wrong

Let's bring hope where there's none
Everything is better when love is shown

Without Hope there are no dreams
If you don't believe there's nothing it seems

Whatever happens light a candle of Hope

The Passion of a Fine Young Man

The cap is off
but the ink is gone
and hope
is a rope
i hung myself on
they'd like me to do
tricks in my cage
'cause passion's in fashion
and i'm full of rage
they'd like me to hit
some sickly sweet note
it's late
and i hate
whatever i wrote
they'd like me to be
what i am not
but happy

i must have forgot
they'd like me to try
to seize every day

I hope my family get a long like they use too

back from drugs
