All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.

Song: Popular Culture
Oh I'm sick to death of spin,
And this banal, self-serving sin,
That justifies usurpation like a king.
When shove will come to push,
Weilding power without blush,
This vigilante State is so right-wing!
Pop, pop, popular history,
Grows a crop of myth and mystery,
Where legends reap the cynical flattery,
That maintains the lie:
Of who we are,
What we've become,
In whose name,
Was violence done;
Of why we're here,
And how we came.
Who's excused,
And who's to blame.
Of where we're going,
And where we're from;
And what we're doing,
To right the wrongs...
Pop, pop, popular culture.
Does it diminish or exalt ya?
Pop, pop, popular culture.
Is it Art or just sheer torture?
Pop, pop, popular culture;
Soporific by it's nature,
From mediocre to bad.
Pop, pop, popular culture,
Confers on all a bland inertia,
Embracing every fad:
Of how we look,
The way we feel;
What is image,
And what is real.
Of what to eat,
And what to wear;
How best to cheat,
Or how to care.
The puzzle of love,
The seizures of hate;
How best to survive,
The quirks of cruel fate.
The rule of the stars,
Or the lives of the great;
Hints from the famous,
To grow and create...
Pop, pop, popular culture.
What you love, and what insults ya.
Pop, pop, popular culture.
What you hate, and what co-opts ya.
Oh I'm bored to bits by cant.
And all that ritualised behaviour,
The patriotic fervour,
That is the flavour of the year.
To my cups I'll so decant,
For from high the view is clear:
The world below is idiot,
The age of farce is here!
Pop, pop, popular culture.
Selling slops of dizzy rapture.
Pop, pop, popular culture.
Nurtures minds to easy capture:
What could be wrong,
What could be right,
When a little change,
Inspires a fight,
For what we think,
Or how we live,
Should we repent,
More than we give?
Can our actions
Be so believed,
When some are censured,
And some reprieved..?
Pop, pop, popular history,
Scuttles verity in a lonely estuary,
And sinks the well of common fallacy:
That heroes never die!
Pop, pop, popular history,
Expels reality to forbidden territory,
And absurdly plays tragedy,
As a slick slapstick comedy,
To entertain the lie:
Of who we are,
What we've become,
In whose name,
Was violence done;
Of why we're here,
And how we came.
Who's excused,
And who's to blame.
Of where we're going,
And where we're from;
And what we're doing,
To right the wrongs...
Pop, pop, popular culture,
Pulls out all stops to pimp and pander.
Pop, pop, popular culture,
Dead of meaning, truth or candour.
Pop, pop, popular culture,
Where vultures feed on lies and slander.
Pop, pop, popular culture,
The carrion flesh that's propaganda!

Hip Hop It Really Rocks
Botched up and rocked by hip hop...
That has drowned out all the pop,
People 'use' to love a lot.
Although almost on top is hip hop...
Like it or not,
It is part of culture.
And hip hop can't be stopped!
Pop...
Botched up and rocked by hip hop,
Is no longer the main 'thing' on the scene.
With a meaning meant,
Like the appetite for Fort Knox.
And pop now in shambles.
Struggling not to be completely dropped.
Hip hip hip hip hip-hop,
Is in a glorifying role.
Hip hip hip hip hip-hop,
Is in a glorifying role.
Hip-hip-hip-hip is hot,
And in a glorifying role.
Hip-hop it knows it really rocks.
And in a glorfying role.
Botched up and rocked by hip hop...
That has drowned out all the pop,
People 'use' to love a lot.
Although almost on top is hip hop...
Like it or not,
It is part of culture.
And hip hop can't be stopped!
Hip hip hip hip hip-hop,
Is in a glorifying role.
Hip hip hip hip hip-hop,
Is in a glorifying role.
Hip-hip-hip-hip is hot,
And in a glorifying role.
Hip-hop it knows it really rocks.
And in a glorfying role.
Hip hip hip hip hip-hop,
Is in a glorifying role.
Hip hip hip hip hip-hop,
Is in a glorifying role.
Hip-hip-hip-hip is hot,
And in a glorifying role.
Hip-hop it knows it really rocks.
And in a glorfying role.
That hip-hop grows and can't be stopped.
It's in a glorifying role.

Pressure
A funny thing happened yesterday
I felt the pressure in a brand new way
It kept hitting me from all directions
I got this feeling I was cracking up
My knees were shaking and I couldnt close my eyes
I fought to gain control and make corrections
A funny thing happened yesterday
I felt the pressure in a tv way.
Dont feel, dont feel
Feel pressure from me
Dont feel, dont feel
No pressure from me
Dont feel, dont feel
Feel pressure from me.
You watch the box and the video jocks
If you could talk that could even be you up there
Thats why you need max head room
Too much pressure for peace on earth
Too much tryin to get your moneys worth
Too much dying
The eldorado, the mercedes benz
The job security that never ends.
Dont feel, dont feel
Feel pressure from me
Dont feel, dont feel
No pressure from me
Dont feel, dont feel
Feel pressure from me
Dont feel, dont feel
No pressure from me.
I feel the pressure building every night
One of these days Im gonna go out like a light
Oh, baby
I feel the pressure building every night
One of these days Im gonna go out like a light.

Under Pressure
Under pressure.
Don't let it be...
Or make that be you.
Under pressure.
Feel an effort that's less due.
Don't allow it to weaken.
Or accept what is 'not'
To become true.
Under pressure.
Don't let it be...
Or make that be you.
That's under pressure.
Feel there's nothing for you to prove.
Under pressure.
Unsnap and throw it away...
Under pressure.
Unsnap and do it today.
That pressure.
Rid yourself of,
That pressure.
Rid yourself of it!
That pressure.
Unsnap and throw it away...
That pressure.
Unsnap and do it today.
That pressure.
Rid yourself of,
That pressure.
Rid yourself of it!
Feel an effort that's less due.
Don't allow it to weaken.

Don't let it be...
Or make that be you.

It's not something that I have ever aspired to be or courted because I think the second that you say, "Oh, I am a role model and that's why I make the decisions that I make," you've kind of shot yourself in the foot. A role model is somebody that does things because of what they believe in regardless of what other people think.

Pressure Point
I can't get this pressure point out of my head
I can't get this pressure point out of my head
I feel it in work, you know, I feel it in bed
I can't get this pressure point out of my head
I've paid all my bills and I've acted so well
Ain't been cheating, there's nothing to tell
So why all this pressure, I dont understand
I call on my neighbours, and lend them a hand
Doctor, oh doctor, I'm willing to learn
Well all of my bones, well they toss and they turn
Mother, oh mother, I'm begging you please
To rid me of madness and cure this disease
... (?) told you what I have become
With all of this pressure, my mind's on a run
... (?) changing, let's hope for the best
Maybe it's something to get off my chest
Doctor, oh doctor, I'm begging you please
To rid me of madness and cure this disease
Mother, oh mother, I'm willing to learn
Well all of my bones, well they toss and they turn
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
I can't get this pressure point out of my head
I can't get this pressure point out of my head
I feel it in work, you know, I feel it in bed
I can't get this pressure point out of my head
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...
Pressure pressure pressure pressure...

Picking My Poison
More and more it feels like the stresses of life are clouding me, like a thick wall of fog through which I can barely see
It feels like all this stress is strangling me, help somebody please! It feels as though I can barely breathe!
But wait while yet all this stress continues to strangle me, there is also this pounding pressure I can feel inside of me
The pressure of taking care of you, the pressure of to myself staying true, the pressure to be who you want me to be, the pressure of never making a mistake for fear that you'll never again be able to look at me
The pressure of trying to succeed, the pressure of always trying to make you proud of me, the pressure of trying to make everybody happy, little do they know that sooner or later all this pressure will finally destroy me
But even if this pounding pressure I feel inside doesn't do me in first, there's still this strangling stress that continues to choke me, and honestly I don't know which poison is worst.

Injection Site
We who oppose the drug addict injection sites are helpless indeed,
A graphic illustration of where democracy can lead,
And we the people have no control of where we really are,
Have injection-site activists taken over and gone bizarre?
Is this a graphic illustration of our need for drastic change?
And where can we go or turn to, so referendums are arranged?
Appointees who make decisions that are often definitely wrong
Helpless no-referendum people have to sing the same song.
Does the Vancouver injection site show that we have all gone mad?
As with abortion clinics, this decisions are extremely sad,
If we are going to have injection sites, they should be on certain streets
Where judges, lawyers and Supreme Court appointees live and meet.

Helpless
There is a town in north ontario
Dream comfort memory despair
And in my mind I still need a place to hide
All my changes were there
Blue blue windows behind the stars
Yellow moon on the rise
Big birds flying across the skies
Casting shadows in our eyes
Leave us helpless helpless helpless helpless
Helpless helpless they leave me now
Helpless helpless helpless
Blue blue windows behind the stars
Yellow moon on the rise
They leave us
Helpless helpless helpless helpless
Helpless helpless they leave me now
Helpless helpless helpless
Helpless helpless helpless helpless
Helpless helpless they leave me now

Pressure
Pressure pressure I got pressure, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Pressure pressure I got pressure, oh yeah
I dont really want to give it to you
cos its really contagious
You can pick it up anywhere
And it can be quite dangerous
You can spread it mouth to mouth
You can even get it when youre alone
But I can always live with it
Whenever I am close to you
Pressure pressure I got pressure, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Pressure pressure I got pressure
I get it driving in my motor car
I get it when Im drinking in a bar
I get it riding on the subway
I get it regular every day
And anyone who never had it yet
And doesnt know what Im going through
But I forget the pressure
When I am close to you
Altogether now-oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Pressure pressure I got pressure oh yeah. oh yeah. oh yeah
Pressure pressure feel the pressure
You got the pressure and thats a fact
I can tell by the way you act
And I can tell that youre pressurised
By the look thats in your eyes
I know the pressure cos Ive got it too
So I know what youre going through
But I forget the pressure
Whenever I am close to you

Injectıon Sıtes
Organized groups have taken over countries in the past,
And left most ordinary people completely silent and aghast,
Is it possible that this is happening in Canada now?
As they implement injection sites for drug addicts somehow?
Of course they say it’s a health issue and they only want to help,
Therefore our politicians are silent and never scream or yelp,
Our Supreme Court decisions seem to have a secret agenda,
Seems like slanted politically correct propaganda.
No death with dignity as in the Sue Rodriguez case,
High court decisions are not accepted as wrong or a disgrace,
Their abortion clinics allowed where the unborn babies are killed,
And now injection sites where the Health System will be billed.

New World Disorder
Our culture, our culture,
our culture has been lost.
how many, how many,
how many lives are at cost?
will you survive,
will you survive and watch other's die?
you have no chance, you have no
chance if you want to remain alive
new world disorder
as far as I can see
new world disorder
no hope for you or me.
our system, our system,
our system no longer exists.
scream, yell louder no one will help
they helped before it was their job
well they got paid. money gets health and power.
and ceased the other day.

In A Certain Culture
In a certain culture,
People do eat and drink blood;
In a certain culture,
People wake up early to eat before they brush their teeth;
In a certain culture,
People eat animals already found dead;
In a certain culture,
People wake up early to eat before they bath;
In a certain culture,
People eat snakes and dogs;
In a certain culture,
People wake up to brush their teeth before eating;
In a certain culture,
People eat monkeys and crocodiles;
Ina certain culture,
People wake up in the morning to bath before they eat;
In a certain culture,
To be naked at the beachside is okay;
In a certain culture,
It is a taboo to be naked at the beachside;
And this is all about life on this earth!
Because what is sweeter on your lips is bitter on mine;
And it is very strange to experience all these facts around the world.

The United States has it's own propaganda, but it's very effective because people don't realize that it's propaganda. And it's subtle, but it's actually a much stronger propaganda machine than the Nazis had but it's funded in a different way.

Racism and the Culture Of Racism
We must be aware…..,
Of the Culture Of Racism….,
It’s a slur and a swear….,
The Culture Of Racism….! ! !
Can’t turn your back….,
On the Culture Of Racism….,
Or you’ll feel the whack…,
Of the Culture Of Racism….! ! !
It’s hard to believe….
The Culture Of Racism….,
That’s why we all grieve….,
The Culture Of Racism…! ! !
We must face the facts….,
On the Culture Of Racism ….! ! !
Cause we’ve seen the attacks…..,
Of the Culture Of Racism….,
It follows us all…,
The Culture Of Racism….,
But we must stand tall….,
Against the Culture Of Racism….! ! !
Can we control or stop it….,
As long as it’s been livin’….? ? ?
That’s the priceless question….,
On the Culture Of Racism…! ! !
