Let There Be Light/ Spirits Dancing In The Flesh
Chorus:
Let there be light
Let there be joy
Let there be love
And understanding
Let there be peace
Throughout the land.
Verse:
Lets work together
In harmony
Lets build a better world
No suffering
And in times of darkness
Just reach out
cause there is a promise
It wont be denied
Repeat chorus six times
Narration:
This is truly paradise
Being here in this celestial garden
With all the ones you love
Where nothing dies or ever grows old
And to be bathed in light
That cast no shadow
Yes
This is the kingdom within
Still you know
Sometimes I miss seeing and feeling
The spirits dancing in the flesh
Spirits dancing in the flesh
Intro:
Cant you see them all around
Theyre all around us
Spirits, spirits dancing all around us
Chorus - chant:
Spirits
Dancing in the flesh, the spirits
Spirits
Dancing in the flesh, the spirits
Spirits
Dancing in the flesh, the spirits
Spirits
Dancing in the flesh, the spirits
All over, all over, all over

Windspirits Triolet
Spirits in the wind are dancing.
The wind spirits are playing flutes.
They play heavenly and gracefully.
Spirits in the wind are dancing.
They are prancing wood fairies.
Spirits in the wind are dancing.
Thesw happy spirits are just dead.
The wind spirits should just go to bed.
Spirits in the wind are dancing.

Feed On The Weak
Spirits call, spirits rise.
Desolate sky, spirits die!
Haunting for the silence
As the sickness falls within.
You've got your strays,
The mice are killed.
It stems between the sick.
Spirits call, spirits rise.
Desolate sky, spirits die!
Haunting for behind them
Finds us meaning on the way.
The words fill, the chapters come.
It dissipates, it stays.
Spirits call, spirits rise.
Desolate skies, spirits die!
Falling hard, arriving fear.
Feeding on the weakest core.

Song Of A Dream
ONCE in the dream of a night I stood
Lone in the light of a magical wood,
Soul-deep in visions that poppy-like sprang;
And spirits of Truth were the birds that sang,
And spirits of Love were the stars that glowed,
And spirits of Peace were the streams that flowed
In that magical wood in the land of sleep.
Lone in the light of that magical grove,
I felt the stars of the spirits of Love
Gather and gleam round my delicate youth,
And I heard the song of the spirits of Truth;
To quench my longing I bent me low
By the streams of the spirits of Peace that flow
In that magical wood in the land of sleep.

I cannot but think that it would be a great step if mankind could familiarise themselves with the idea that they are spirits incorporated for a time in the flesh re spirits incorporated for a time in the flesh.

Spirits
Angel spirits of sleep,
White-robed, with silver hair,
In your meadows fair,
Where the willows weep,
And the sad moonbeam
On the gliding stream
Writes her scatter'd dream:
Angel spirits of sleep,
Dancing to the weir
In the hollow roar
Of its waters deep;
Know ye how men say
That ye haunt no more
Isle and grassy shore
With your moonlit play;
That ye dance not here,
White-robed spirits of sleep,
All the summer night
Threading dances light?

Spirits Rebellious
I can't do right when all I wanna do is wrong
My conscience sounds alarm like the waning of a Chinese gong
I know about the punishment, I know about the law
My sins cut deeper than the teeth on a saw
My attitude is bad and my nerves are raw
I'm a shotgun snake, I'm a jackal with claws
I was born with a chip on my shoulder on a stormy night
Alright
My spirits rebellious, you tell us everything's okay
No way
Spirits rebellious, we won't do anything you say
It's a hard, hard world with a black corroded heart
There's a livin', breathin' devil trying to tear my soul apart
In a cold, cold grave on a dark, dark night
Eternity is black, I'll never see the light
Never listen to advice, I was never that bright
Couldn't walk away, I was lookin' to fight
I was born with a chip on my shoulder on a stormy night
Alright
My spirits rebellious, you tell us everything's okay
No way
My spirits rebellious, we won't do anything you say
No Way
My spirits rebellious, you tell us everything alright
Tonight
Spirits rebellious, all we gonna hear is lies, lies, lies
Lies...
My spirits rebellious
I can't do right when all I want to do is wrong
My spirits rebellious
I know about the punishment, I know about the law
My spirits rebellious
My sins cut deeper then the teeth on a saw
My spirits rebellious
I'm the teenage curse of the monkey's paw

Spirits?
Though I've never seen one exactly
I've encountered some evil presence
The very sense of it overwhelms me
But with God, Fear lurks in absence.
Spirits of dead are mere wanderers
Some are evil and utterly vicious
Some are more harmful than the others
And some possess humans for their use.
The spirits who protect us are angels
And the spirits who harm us are vile
Some in realms of government control
And some enthroned in fake piety's style.
Spirits of the dead they call 'ghosts'
They seem to avoid me and hide
They're the ones I would like to ask most
What they felt at the moment they died.
For you see, I am quite prepared
To meet that old man with the sickle
For Death is the one Jesus dared
Over which He proved He was able.
That Jesus Who now lives in me
Has power over all of these spirits
At the mention on His Name they flee
For they know there's just One Holy Spirit.

Spirits In The Material World
There is no political solution
To our troubled evolution
Have no faith in constitution
There is no bloody revolution
We are spirits in the material world
Our so-called leaders speak
With words they try to jail you
The subjugate the meek
But its the rhetoric of failure
We are spirits in the material world
Where does the answer lie?
Living from day to day
If its something we cant buy
There must be another way
We are spirits in the material world

Ha'nacker Mill
Sally is gone that was so kindly,
Sally is gone from Ha'nacker Hill
And the Briar grows ever since then so blindly;
And ever since then the clapper is still...
And the sweeps have fallen from Ha'nacker Mill.
Ha'nacker Hill is in Desolation:
Ruin a-top and a field unploughed.
And Spirits that call on a fallen nation,
Spirits that loved her calling aloud,
Spirits abroad in a windy cloud.
Spirits that call and no one answers --
Ha'nacker's down and England's done.
Wind and Thistle for pipe and dancers,
And never a ploughman under the Sun:
Never a ploughman. Never a one.

Sorrow's Bane
Love is the one thing
That keeps our spirits whole
When Sorrow comes a knocking
With hurts that touch our soul
When our world falls around us
Darkness fills our dreams
It’s love that lifts our spirits
Bridging Sorrow's streams
Love calls us from the brink
Of being swallowed by the stream
Dispels depression
And warms us in it’s gleam
Love helps us through the horror
Of love lost or led astray
Through mans trespass
Or angels spirit them away
Love comes to give us comfort
And wipe away the tears
Love will shield our spirits
When Sorrow's shadow nears
Love’s light whisper
Will stifle Sorrow's gain
In life’s losses
Love is Sorrow’s bane

Spiritual Mixture
It happened in less than a heartbeat,
an attraction that couldn't be denied.
A reaction between two strangers
that caused their hearts to collide.
Their spirits must've have first spoken
in the way that only spirits do.
They agreed to a mix of chemical love
especially for me and you.

Spirit's About Us
If they are spirits about us,
Would we do the things that we do
Or would we want to be better persons
Especially if they be spirits we once had knew.
Would we still say the things that we do say
And would we act the ways that we do,
That is, if they are spirits among us,
And if any of them, we once had knew.
If we knew they were here about us
And that never we were not alone,
No matter where we might go or what we might do
Or whether we be traveling or here at home.
Would we act the way that we do act
Or would we think about the things that we do
Would we say the things that we do say
If we knew that a spirit were next to me or you.
Would we still cheat or think about cheating
Or telling lies to the people that we meet
Especially if we knew loved ones were next to us
And our sins cause those spirits to weep.
Would we still act the way that we act
And would we think about the things we do
Would we say the things that we say
Especially what's inside of me and you.
Would we still hate and cause others to sin
Even though we knew we couldn't be caught
If only that we knew the spirits were next to us
And their love for us, we haven't forgot.
So I now live my life in happiness and joy
As I want to live my life sinless and complete
Never do I want to bring sadness or any pain
As I don't know who is standing next to me.
As if they are any spirits about us
And if there is a spirit standing next to me
I would hope to bring that spirit pride and joy
Instead of sadness, disappointment and humility.
So as I bring my thinking to a closure
And as I think of the time that our life is through
We best be careful what we do or think
As we know not what spirit, is standing next to me or you.

Kiss Of Life
See me a big woman, big woman look how you dance
See me a big woman, big woman caught in a trance
Dancing on the tabletop, covered up with the easter feast
Youre dancing for the fishermen, from the very large right
To the least
Dancing for the slow release, first the boy and then the beast
Then the beast
Burning, buring with the kiss of life
Burning, buring with the kiss of life
See me, a big woman, big woman so full of life
See me, a big woman, big woman going to be my wife
Watching for the different eyes - they change your face -
They come inside
Watch the spirits laugh and cry, watch them find a place
To hide
Watch the spirits talk in tongues, watch them take you for
A ride
Down at the ocean lies a body in the sand
Big woman sits beside, head in hand
With heat from her skin, and fire from her breath
She blows hard, she slows deep in the mouth of death
Burning, burning with the kiss of life
Burning, burning with the kiss of life
Burning, burning with the kiss of life

Black And White! (Spirits And Flesh)
black and white,
not different kinds of souls,
merely skin tints!
Americans, and Middle
Eastern people,
worship...
not different gods,
but different understandings
of the same god!
and common people,
all around the world,
have worked too long,
for too little,
are tired of being numbers,
numbers without faces!
tired on being enslaved,
being treated as possessions....
for they have faces!
faces with hearts,
hearts with spirits,
spirits made of flesh!

In The Other World
spirits
in the other world
we are
spirits
sublime in silence
rested forever
perfect bliss
there is no you
and no me anymore
it is the moment now
that must not be wasted
when love still prevails
when your touch
ripples the memories
in my skin
love me now
or miss forever

Street-Side Elergy
In the night,
If you walk through
This soggy street
Where virtuous spirits
Have gone to bed
And evil spirits roaming,
You will wrench yourself loose of joy
And wail for this street.
If you hear
The hear-renting shrieks
Of victims in this evil night,
You must wail, you must wail
Publicly, for this street.
If you know
How brotherhood is spent
And how humanity is broken
In this broken street,
You must scream hard
To dance away the evil spirits.
If you see brothers
Treating brothers with
The ferocity of jungle beast,
These tears must drop.
These tears on the eye lids
Must drop.
If you walk through this street
In the foggy day light,
You will see broken spirits
All existing and ghostly.
Scream hard and hard
For the living dead,
For the living can still be dead
I found that in this street.
Scream to invite good spirits
To dance away the evil spirits,
If you want to mask,
You can mask
For the night is horrendous.

Time Leak
For centuries
we have lain like this,
our warmths intermingled,
our hearts beating
the same two-step,
& our breaths
& our limbs
intertwined.
Life after life,
I return to flesh
to join my flesh
to your flesh.
Sometimes I am the woman
& you the man;
sometimes,
the other way around.
It hardly matters.
Flesh after flesh,
our spirits return
to mingle.
Death is no barrier
& life's noisy matinee
where the suburban ladies
cough & sputter
& their programs crackle like kindling
merely goes on & on.
They sit on their deaths
as if they were sitting
on fur coats,
while we touch
for the first time
remembering
the next.

Benjamin Fraser
Their spirits beat upon mine
Like the wings of a thousand butterflies.
I closed my eyes and felt their spirits vibrating.
I closed my eyes, yet I knew when their lashes
Fringed their cheeks from downcast eyes,
And when they turned their heads;
And when their garments clung to them,
Or fell from them, in exquisite draperies.
Their spirits watched my ecstasy
With wide looks of starry unconcern.
Their spirits looked upon my torture;
They drank it as it were the water of life;
With reddened cheeks, brightened eyes,
The rising flame of my soul made their spirits gilt,
Like the wings of a butterfly drifting suddenly into sunlight.
And they cried to me for life, life, life.
But in taking life for myself,
In seizing and crushing their souls,
As a child crushes grapes and drinks
From its palms the purple juice,
I came to this wingless void,
Where neither red, nor gold, nor wine,
Nor the rhythm of life are known.
