they do not evolve
our everyday understanding
with what I call
bad rap for kings or princes

does anybody really conform
with the same degree of competence

I see how certain classes of people speak
and we can use them
to say at the beginning:

in love and war
in the human mouth
in other words
in any culture

the broad contours
the form of things
this set of problems

are mutually comprehensible metathesis

every act of describing is an act of prescribing
