The Non Spaces

the
non spaces

a waif,
knows many

a waif,
knows many

who
will dress
his
wounds?

will you?

once,
the
sleeping
smile of
innocence,
melts away
in to the crowd,
vacant stares
only remain

the
non spaces

Careful
not to
hold on
too tightly
to life's
taut string

too
tightly?

who
will dress
his
wounds,
will you?

breaking,
it drifts

arrogant
strides,
crippled

a waif
knows
the
non spaces

a waif,
knows many

you are
that waif,

adrift.
