Oh, did I lock the door? </div><div style="margin:10px 0">The door was locked and bolted, so I breathed a sigh of relief, <br>everything went calm and quiet including my chattering teeth. <br>I told myself not to be stupid for being so easily frightened, <br>and as I opened the curtains it again thundered and lightened. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Somehow my window swung open and a creature looked into my eyes, <br>at first they appeared to be bright red and evil, but then I realised <br>that this was a handsome man who was holding me in his arms, <br>I had no control as he kissed me; I couldn’t repel his charms. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">My mind could only see this lover, so handsome, strong and tall, <br>but when I awoke I found scratches covering my all. <br>The white sheets and pillow on my bed were covered in blood, <br>at the time I felt no pain at all, but then I certainly could. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I was in shock and didn’t know what or how this happened to me, <br>but this man or beast took advantage and caused me injury. <br>I managed to see my doctor and also had my wounds dressed, <br>and he sent me to the police surgeon to have a semen test. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">The police interviewed me and carried out a full investigation, <br>the forensics gave an unhelpful and confused explanation, <br>finger prints, body-hair and semen were not of a human kind <br>and they had no DNA records to help prove their find. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">They said they would check all available international DNA banks, <br>but this would take time and would probably draw blanks. <br>I was told to get on with my life the best way that I could <br>and they’d inform me if enquiries led to anything good. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Over the short time my wounds heeled, but my mind did not <br>I kept getting flashes of memory recall that scared me a lot. <br>I had to move house to try to get away from the bad memories, <br>this helped until I discovered my pregnancy. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Now I was really worried and wanted to know what was inside of me. <br>The doctor told me that it was just a normal pregnancy, <br>but that didn’t make sense I hadn’t made love for quite a long time, <br>but I was raped by that creature who took over my mind. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">The doctor tried to put an end to my anxious worries and concerns <br>and sent me to the clinic to see what could be learned. <br>The maternity staff scanned my tummy and viewed my womb <br>and concluded that for a clear picture it was just too soon. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">They told me to return in a week when the picture would be much clearer, <br>so I was left with the thoughts of a creature that couldn’t be nearer. <br>In my nightmares I repeatedly saw a half human and half bear like creature, <br>but it kept changing shape to one without recognisable feature. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Later that night I saw myself having the baby in the centre of a stone circle, <br>but then the stones changed to devil like creatures so ugly and horrible. <br>The baby was born and shown to me, and it wasn’t of a human kind; <br>the rapist told me I must mother it with love and secrecy in mind. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">With his finger nail he cut my neck and from it the baby began drinking, <br>and when I awoke I saw in the mirror the same cut was shrinking. <br>From this moment I realised that something supernatural was happening to me, <br>so I went to see a priest who referred me to a doctor with a paranormal degree. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I told him what had happened and he looked through many of his books, <br>showing me different creatures until he found one with the rapist’s looks. <br>He looked astounded and whispered, “That cannot be; it’s just a myth.” <br>But then he continued to read the ancient text that made sense of this. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">It described a 6,000 year old supernatural race that once roamed the land, <br>which were hunted down and destroyed, but the last of them made a stand. <br>Mercilessly they fought using all of their physical and mental energy, <br>and before they died the leader departed his body by ritual ceremony </div><div style="margin:10px 0">His body was never found and it is said that he lives as dust in the air, <br>and every 1000 years a storm will cause his body to appear. <br>His quest is to re-establish his race, so they can roam the earth again <br>and he has to plant his seed before he dissolves in the falling rain. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">At least I now know that he won’t be back again at least while I’m alive <br>my problem now is his seed and to make sure it doesn’t survive. <br>I thanked the man for his help and now planned to have an abortion. <br>My doctor arranged all this and I attended a pre-op examination. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">The examination and scans now proved that there was no baby in my womb, <br>so in fact I wasn’t pregnant and there was no further cause for gloom. <br>I returned home contented knowing the creature’s baby wasn’t inside me, <br>but it didn’t stop my nightmares of how the baby’s birth would be. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Every night my dreams explained in detail what I must do with the baby, <br>I went back to the doctors and told him that I thought I was going crazy. <br>He examined me again and carried out a test, and told me nothing was there, <br>and I should now go and see another doctor, who would remove my despair. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I thought I was going insane; I even felt the baby kicking inside, <br>I knew it was using its powers by fooling the doctors to hide. <br>I didn’t know what to do, so I returned to the guy who helped me before, <br>I told him about everything and he agreed this was possible, for sure. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I also told him that I was scared not just for me, but for the human race <br>and would he help me to get rid of it, so that it didn’t leave a trace. <br>He said he was sorry and couldn’t get mixed up in anything unlawful <br>and I should seek help from my doctor or anyone medical. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">People either think I’m mad or they just won’t help, whatever was I to do, <br>I had to think of something, but had I the strength to see this through? <br>After several weeks of thinking I decided to have the birth in a deep hot bath <br>I’d fill it with the hottest water and let the baby suffer my wrath. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Eventually I went into labour, so I got the scissors and filled the tub with water <br>I also placed knives in handy places in readiness for the creature’s slaughter. <br>My water broke, so I went upstairs for my bath, undressed and stepped in, <br>the baby was coming, but I had second thoughts of committing this sin. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">My stomach pains were unbearable and slaughter had left my mind, <br>I had to get this birth over with and leave my hatred behind. <br>As it started to come away it’s growling brought me back to my senses <br>I grabbed a knife and stabbed between my legs while it was defenceless. </div><div style="margin:10px 0">With the growling and splashing over, I lay back relieved that all was done; <br>in tears and exhausted I knew that I couldn’t have carried on. <br>When I’d regained some strength I had a feeling of contentment and I felt good, <br>but when I looked down nothing was there, no umbilical cord or blood.</div><div style="margin:10px 0"><br /></a><br />poem by <a href="http://en.citatepedia.ro/by.php?a=Orlando+Belo">Orlando Belo</a><div class=q> <img src="https://www.citatepedia.ro/g/32share.png" style="float:left" alt="Share"> <script type="text/javascript" src="//s7.addthis.com/js/300/addthis_widget.js#pubid=citatepedia" async="async"></script><div style="display:inline-block" class="addthis_sharing_toolbox" data-url="http://en.citatepedia.ro/comments.php?id=473053" data-title="Sophia’s Tale de Orlando Belo" data-description="It all began on a cold winter’s night as another cloud blocked out the full moon's light.
