'-<br>If I hadn't protested when I experienced the same, I would be remiss! <br>Hitler once offered: 'the bigger the lie, the more people will believe it! '-<br>Sometimes, it is one so audacious, you would never conceieve it! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I was purloined from all, by another's failing, <br>How could she not 'see' her mind was destructively ailing! ? ! <br>Where was my aegis, why was none fastly offered-<br>Why, when I needed it so, was it maliciously coffered! ? ! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I am a man of ideals, who values greatly the most basic principle-<br>Alas, to speak the truth, you neglected something so simple! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">All who know you have been made the worse<br>By your negligent handling of your mental curse! <br>You believed your rudimentary knowledge of a warped jurisprudence<br>Would subvert true justice's inevitable occurence! ! <br>How singularly naive of you, to assume<br>That truth, waylaid by paranoia, would not resume! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Initially, upon consult, some surely advised<br>That I look past it all, even what they despised; <br>Yet, your despicable behavior continued, unabated<br>Until you transmogrified from 'my love', to someone I hated! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">You did not only, from me and others, abscond; <br>You've removed temporarily our Daughter's paternal bond; <br>No longer have we privity, to her inspiring grace-<br>We must 'thoughtfully admire' her, from our far away place! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">The material objects that you thieved<br>Matter very little, it is their memories I grieve! <br>Their replacement is but a monetary matter-<br>That, and an intrepid, global consumer's gather! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">I am not your only victim, just its most obvious-<br>There is no '6 degrees of separation' from your actions, most devious! <br>Yet, you are not the sole perpetrator, many are vicariously, to blame-<br>The part the played in all of this, is a God-forsaken shame! <br>For their part, they too, shall be made to present answer<br>For what has metastacized as a most virulent Cancer! ! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">God does certainly work in a mysterious way, <br>He challenges me, yet my Faith has ne'er strayed; <br>He ensures I know of evil and all of its doers, <br>To allow that my appreciation of its antithesis ever endures; <br>He caused for me to make court, with the Devil herself-<br>For lament and heartache, that for many moons, I have felt-<br>So that whence He proffered my Faith's reward, <br>It was not until He was satisfied, it had endured! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Just as surly and displeasing as was my past-<br>So too, beautiful and inspiring is its reward-sure to last, <br>As its presence supplants, with each passing moment, <br>The contempt of my mind and my heart's lament! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Had I known my reward, in advance of my grievous pain-<br>I should want for naught, in fact, I would do it 1,000 times, again! </div><div style="margin:10px 0">Maurice Harris,20 March 2010</div><div style="margin:10px 0"><br /></a><br />poem by <a href="http://en.citatepedia.ro/by.php?a=Maurice+Harris">Maurice Harris</a><div class=q>
