I am now a few grams<br>Heavier, I mean a few pounds heavier.<br>I was going to the gym to make me stronger, <br>But I decided against that activity.<br>I wanted to be a little lazy, <br>To relax, to enjoy the day, and to chill; <br>I did not want to kill<br>Myself today.<br>When it is your birthday, <br>You should take it easy.<br>I listened to a few songs of Sinatra, <br>A few melodies of Nat King Cole.<br>I had a tiny glass of vodka.<br>I kicked, for a short time, my soccer ball.</div><div style="margin:10px 0">At my age, I feel very young; <br>I am still happy and strong.<br>I enjoy life tremendously.<br>I thank God daily, <br>I count my blessings, not my failures.<br>I cherish my victories and use my shortcomings<br>As powerful lessons, to challenge the adventures<br>Ahead. Thank God, I have had many good mornings<br>And many great evenings; I am praying for more.<br>I also thank my friends that I love forever more.<br>I pray for the weak and ask God to end man's miseries; <br>I also pray for my enemies.<br>Don't kid yourself, you have some too, <br>They are invisible, they are cuckoo; <br>They are everywhere looking at you.<br>So far, it has been a wonderful day, <br>Even though, the sky is gray, <br>And it is intermittently raining; <br>However, in my heart, the sun is shining.<br>Today is a day to ponder, to relax, <br>To enjoy and to ignore the sneaky fox.<br>I am enjoying my day and please do the same, <br>Relax and enjoy the other days as well.<br>I wish you well, stay away of the deadly well; <br>I promise you that I will do the same.<br>I am waiting to have a magnificent night, <br>To listen to more classy melodies, <br>To see the sun, in my dream, at midnight; <br>And to thank God for all the amenities.<br>Today is my birthday, <br>I am really lazy today.</div><div style="margin:10px 0"><br /></a><br />poem by <a href="http://en.citatepedia.ro/by.php?a=Hebert+Logerie">Hebert Logerie</a><div class=q>
